probably should’ve seen the red flags when the bartender ran away after ordering the food but alas. Beer taps taste like unclean lines & had floaty bits in them. The menu is full of buzz words but the $18 ‘chicken bites’ were four (still cold) frozen steggles chicken nuggets straight from the PFD catalogue accompanied by masterworks BBQ sauce full of further floaties. The poor staff all looked depressed. ‘Why are venues in Perth closing down’

First time here. Really liked the ambiance, especially the garden area. But it would be better during the winter, summer heat is crazy. We ordered the Lazy weekend and it was okay. Most of the food is sour. Huge portion tho, good enough for 4. Cocktail was great! Dont remember the exact name but it was Yuzu something.

Absoloutly love this place. Amazing outdoor area. Fantastic staff who are friendly and efficient. Food was awesome as usual. The baked Goat's Brie and Duck Tumeric Rolls are the highlight for us.

We had an amazing time, I didn’t know previously how extensively you cater for the refined tastebuds of those both GF/vegan and Omni - even through your classy liquor selection; my friend and I enjoyed several amazing pavlova cosmopolitans 😍 Nothing was too big an ask. Bartenders and servers were all very helpful. I will most definitely return every time I’m in Northbridge!!

The boys and girls brought me here for Father’s Day celebration. Great atmosphere and service. Music was a bit loud but they kindly turned it down at our request and swapped table for us. The lazy weekend platter was huge and enough for 5 of us. The only disappointment was pork schnitzel was brown and charred - turns out to be dry and overcooked. We ordered two deserts - mango sherbet and cake with popcorn and honeycomb ice cream - both great blending and delightful design. We went up the rooftop overlooking the city and had a few candle light pictures. Absolutely stunning! Price is very affordable for the young ones. Drink could be pretty expensive but we are ok with just bottled water. Recommended for those looking for a great night out with friends. Big place and a lot of tables.

We were a little apprehensive to try their Asian Fusion Menu but the chef has executed this beautifully. Ambiance is super cute, peaceful and makes for the perfect insta story. Can not wait to return to try the Lazy Weekend Menu.

Thanks so much to the team last night! We had an awesome time and were impressed with the attentive service, tasty food and fab wine selection. We requested a table change and made the guys aware we were in a bit of rush and had both requests met with ease. The whole team provided us with lovely, speedy and thoughtful service throughout. We even had plenty time to chill with our bubbles after eating, which was perfect. Great start to our evening. We TOTALLY recommend a visit! We'll definitely be back! 🙂💖🍾

We tried the hawker Wednesday special and it was such a treat. Great meal for a great price with a drink included and the restaurant had an awesome vibe and atmosphere for a rainy Wednesday night. The service was quick and friendly too. The meal was really delicious. We had the Thai duck broth. The broth was lacking a bit in flavor but the duck was delicious. We also tried the fried chicken and it was one of the yummiest I’ve had! So delicious. Would recommend trying it out.

Faultless food. Great service and ambience both inside and outside in the garden (and upstairs) My only regret is I didn't get time to take pics of the grilled Korean BBQ chicken noodles before we devoured it! Entree we got home made potato gems (is there anything better?) And shredded duck pancake thingy. Want to go back to try the sunday lazy Susan lunch too!

Was last here a few years ago and it's great to see that the service and food is still impressive and approachable. Love the Wednesday Hawker specials and Lazy Weekend platters. Wine list has some bangers at prices that won't stop your heart.

Best restaurant in Perth. Especially with Lazy Susan Platter. I never eat lamb before . This is the lamb that i could say i wanna eat it again. The veggie, Mashed Potato is the best. Also the cocktail is goood. I would love to come to Standart Restaurant again 💜

The atmosphere was good, the food was okay. Not quite to my taste, however okay. The Kingfish has a weird after taste that hits the back of your throat… as you swallow. I thought it was just me, however the wife has the same thought. Presentation is awesome, taste, not so much. I wouldn’t order that again. The prawns… big tasty, but only three, not a little sprinkling of salad, nothing just three big prawns 🦐 tasted great, sauce was good, lacked a bit of presentation. The potato gems.. good. Not being a big fan of marty sauce it was great to see they had the other sauce I could use. The Korean chicken 🍗 nice little side salad, presentation was good, the actual chicken was cooked to perfection. Beautiful and moist, a little too spicy for my liking, however that chicken was great.

We had the lazy Susan platter yesterday and it was not only excellent value for money (only $80 for the whole platter), the food was full of flavour and very enjoyable. We shared the platter between five of us and there was easily enough for all of us. The pork was tender and tasty and we loved all the flavours and freshness of the other dishes. The waitresses were very knowledgeable about the food. We can’t wait to try the next platter!

Had a lovely 'lazy susan' lunch today at The Standard. Was really impressed by the venue, we sat outside and it was spacious and relaxing but inside also looked great. $70 for the weekend lazy susan special was outstanding value and it really could feed 4 people. We had the Malaysian set and all the dishes were flavourful and well presented. Favourites for me were the hokkien prawn noodles and pork floss buns. I also tried a mocktail which was delicious! The highlight was also the great service we got from all staff who were friendly and helpful. Everything was wonderful and we can't wait to come back and try a new menu!

Fabulous meal bbq Korean chicken and beef short rib super tasty. Lovely manager that squeezed us in at cool bar seat on fully booked Fringe night. Great atmosphere and fun to watch top class bar work and best espresso martini. Good place pre-fringe or any time for an atmospheric vibe

Not sure if the lady is a security guard/front counter staff memeber, but her name is Eleanor and she's from Italy. Absolutely outstanding customer service from her. So polite, friendly and caring!! Give her a pay rise!! Thanks for making our night pleasant 😁 If wanting to dine in for dinner, def book..however you can walk in for drinks in the garden bar side. Customer Service 10/10 Ambience 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Will be back to try the food for sure 🙌🏾

Great bar in Northbridge. Large space with an inside and outside bar. The food is very good. Try a selection of the share plates. Asian influenced tapas style. The Korean chicken is yummy.

What great service !! Greeted with a smile and everything explained in detail. Gave me hope for service in Perth. The menu was a nice surprise, not your typical pub grub, lots of options and caters well for vegetarians and gluten free options. A tasty mulled wine to top it off too. Definitely returning for another round.

I know Perth is renowned for poor customer service, so thanks for giving us the authentic Perth experience. Table service was incredibly slow, wait staff acting like we were a complete inconvenience, while absolutely no help was provided when it started to rain, and the umbrella that was next to us couldn't be opened properly. Food was also very mediocre: I guess the bread was nice ... I would shout out to the one waitress who did know what she was doing, and was relatively helpful amongst the hapless staff.

My partner and I visited The Standard for the first time over a month ago, and the experience we shared was beyond amazing. We’ve been back about five times since. Firstly, the food was phenomenal. We ordered the beef short rib rendang curry, gluten free chicken wingettes, chinese broccoli and a side of the coconut rice. The chicken wingettes have been a fan favourite for us ever since. We’ve gone back several times purely just to order them alone—they’re that good! Super flavourful and delicious. The beef short rib with rendang glaze has been impossible to beat and believe me, we’ve tried. The balance of flavour is amazing, the meat was fall-apart and the glaze is to die for. The chinese broccoli has a beautiful sauce and fried shallots to go with and were a wonderful addition to the rest of our food, and the coconut rice was very well flavoured. Truly could not be happier with the flavour profile and sheer quality of the food here. As for the service, there’s nothing we could fault; it was a beyond lovely experience. We were sat and waited on by Zoe, a gorgeous human being who was just that—human. I myself am a customer service coordinator where I work, and not once did Zoe’s service feel monotonous, scripted or automated. She gave us a a very personable experience and made us feel like a special case. Though it might sound a bit silly, she comes across as a real person who doesn’t go about customers as though it were a chore and it reflects heavily in the way my partner and I received it. Each time we go back, we find ourselves actively seeking her out. I truly could not commend her service more. Overall, our experience with The Standard has been above and beyond. We have tried the sister venues and this place remains strongly at the top of our list. The only struggle we have is not going there every second day!

It's one of my personal favorites in Perth. Indoor seating and three levels of outdoor seating. Amazing atmosphere with people distributed on different levels, good decor, greenery, heaters, and rain covers. Good selection of beers and cocktails and great food. Even though staff has occasionally been a little hit or miss, it doesn't take this place down from a 5-star rating.

Love the place, the atmosphere is amazing! The food was ok. We booked a function area we have lovely open area close to smoking area. It was good. Food was ok . We had the fried chicken and potato to start with, fried chicken was a bit salty. And I didn’t understand why it was partnered with some fish sauce. I was confused in the beginning if I ordered chicken or fish. 😂 and we had buns and burger to share with other people. these are good and makeup for the chicken. Lol

Grabbed a drink here on Saturday night. Standing room only if no meals, found a nook downstairs. Nice view from the roof, but again all tables. Staff were friendly and misses served a nice cocktail.

As far as the food, service and atmosphere, I loved it. We went for lunch and ordered the Lazy Weekend platter, which was very affordable. They dishes were delicious! Our cocktails were to die for, too! The staff members were prompt to assist us and were very friendly. The only one matter that I had hope for would be that it was a little hard to chat with my friends. The music was a tad bit loud. Other than that, highly recommended and we'll be back to try other items on the menu.

Booked the alcove for a small function (about 15 people) and it was great! Excellent finger food and platters and great service from the staff. Highly recommended!

Never once had a bad meal here, and it's heart-warming to see they're one of the few places in Northbridge that survived the wrath of COVID, and continuing to thrive 💪. We adore Hawker Wednesday and Lazy Weekends, and the standards have been consistent everytime 😉. Kingfish crudo benefits from a mix of ginger, soy and garlic dressing, coupled with a delicious green apple and kombu pickled radish salad. Crunchy charred tiger prawns swim in a dark rich buttery peppery sauce, perfect to spoon over a bowl of steamed rice. Red duck lychee curry is featured for Hawker Wednesday and OMG everytime I have it, I'm in awe of the amount of flavours packed in a bowl 😮. Duck fork tender, sauce thick and delicious, the addition of laksa leaves on top is much-needed to cut through the richness. Beef short ribs cooked for 12 hours amazing soft and falling off the bone. The "rendang" glaze is a bit too saucy for my liking, it's more like a sauce and not as dry as anticipated. Despite the minor detail, it's delicious either way 🤤. Popcorn mousse ends the night on such a high. Alongside miso caramel, toasted milk cake and honeycomb gelato melding together, with each component complimenting the next. Peach Perfect, my favourite cocktail, summery and fresh, highlighting the perfect marriage between peach & orange blossom vodka and lemon & vanilla syrup 😍.

It was a nice evening to enjoy our super sweet Peach Perfect (and other cocktails), but all the entrees that we ordered were bland, nothing special. Should've order their main or come for a proper dinner next time because it looks soo good on pictures.

First time here and I am very impressed!! Korean food was delicious in an Aussie restaurant/bar. Lovely!!! Will try something else next time:)

Delicious cocktails. However both vegetarian dishes were very disappointing. The roasted calabrese broccoli just an underwhelming cooked head of broccoli and that’s it. The black jasmine garlic fried rice was undercooked and chewy.
