Came here Friday night and the music was amazing, and the place had a great vibe. A guy did something that made myself and my friend very uncomfortable but security was on it so fast and he was removed from the venue. Thank you for providing a safe place for my friends and I ♡ I'll definitely be back x

Make sure to find out how many people are in there before you pay 10$ on a saturday evening. Nothing going on. Music good. And they closed at 2am - so we paid for 1 hour

Drivel were great. Top bunch of blokes who were great musicians having fun together experimenting as entertainment. Sewing room rocks.

Caught a very cool gig at the sewing room. The sound was pretty good for the size of the venue and there was plenty of comfy couches for resting between sets. Shame about the structural pillars blocking the back half of the crowd from Seeing much. Great for the small gig I attended though.

Nice cozy place for small musical show also good venue for small events and cozy and thrusting ambience when the live music hits.

I just asked for a gin lemon - they gave me a random non alcoholic drink. Once I kindly notified that to the bartender staff, security staff rudly kicked me off. I have an RSA and I perfecty when you have the right and duty to kick one off - your behavior was disgusting and racist, cause it was obvious I was not not a native and usual customer, but I could have been it. Congrats Sewing Club, worst customer servce evercin Perth. hope the security service and some of the bartenders will get fired and replaced cause they're disgusting. Cheers :)

Me and 4 of my friends bought tickets for the ‘No Scrubs’ 90’s event last night for our friends birthday. Tickets for $15 each. The event started at 10pm, we got there at 11pm only to be told that we had to line up to be let in because the venue was at full capacity. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes to be allowed entry. After only being in the event for 45 minutes, the birthday girl was asked to leave the venue after having just bought a round of drinks. Due to the staff being rude, pushy and disrespectful towards us we had to leave our unfinished drinks behind. Thanks for a disappointing night ‘The Sewing Room. Next time you host a ‘sold out’ event maybe you should check that you have capacity to accomodate those that have bought a ticket… just a suggestion. If I could give you zero stars I would.

I bought a ticket to a Fringe show here, but was refused entry because I didn’t have my segregation documents on hand. Apparently they have a nightclub license, and this has been in place for a few weeks. It’s a shame they have bent forward for the communist agenda, because otherwise it’s a great venue.

Went here the Friday that just passed and the venue has such a good atmosphere! All the staff working there are also super friendly! One person in particular named Matt who was working at the door was super approachable and overall made us felt very welcome when we came in! Such a good space and would definitely be coming back here again!!

It was my first time going to The Sewing Room and I will definitely be back again after such a good experience. The environment as a whole was awesome and I don’t just mean the music, the aesthetic and the people. I think most of the credit belongs to the staff as a whole. The bartenders were friendly and fair. The lady at the door, Anna, and security guard, Mark, were very professional and precise but also really respectful and welcoming. It felt like a safe place to party in general, which is rare for Perth clubs. Well done, Sewing Room x

wasn't good experience at all, everything smells there. Cocktails not taste at all. The girl with dark hair behind the bar was rude and nasty because when we told her about it. I won't recommend going there again!

I had the worst experience at the sewing room. We had bought tickets to an event and couldn’t even enter because the bouncer thought my friend was drunk when she’d had 1 drink at home and was red after walking 30mins into the event. The bouncer was clearly embarrassed of his decision but couldn’t admit it so it was really disappointing we didn’t get a refund.

Hosts events and doesn’t even play songs of the artist and closes early even though people have bought tickets, extremely disappointed! Has happened multiple times and will discontinue going here even though I have been going here for years, expected better at the only club I feel comfortable at :(

Nice intimate venue. Good band. The floor however is absolutely disgusting throughout...felt like we had chewing gum on both shoe soles. Needs a massive clean or fix of some sort.

Had an amazing night at the Taylor Swift themed night! Venue is great, with great staff. Only problem is that it can get very hot, since the venue isn't open air. The aircon didn't seem to be working on the night, but only a minor problem. Overall, would recommend going, and I will be going again myself

Interesting quirky venue in great location. Awesome sounds from the mixing desk for live music. Floors, could do with a clean my feet kept sticking to them.

A great venue to see band or two and have a drink or two in a basement. PA sound system is good and the music wasn't too loud.
