Wow! What a way to make a splash in the Perth. This was our first stop as we landed in Perth, drawn in by the 3 hat rating and a fantastic view, we couldn’t say no to the Flow lunch option, this experience was one to remember. Every single detail was looked after, the service was amazing and every delicate morsel delicious. Whilst we didn’t match our wines on this occasion the menu was completely complimentary. I absolutely recommend this meal to anyone who loves fine food and finds themselves in Perth in need of something exquisite.

This is the best restaurant i ever eaten in my life. Every courses are divine, exquisite and delicious. You can enjoy your lunch or dinner here with amazing view. As a dessert lover, my favorite is Parsnip crisp. Parsnip ice cream with crispy biscuit, and then creamy flavor full of mouth, believe me, it’s best!!!! For the main, I give it to duck terrine. Soft duck leg with crispy skin is heaven. First bite you can taste sweet flavor of duck, second taste it with sauce, take the flavor to the next level.

A delicious meal and great service from the staff. We opted not to do the wine pairing as found it a bit pricey but got a lovely bottle of wine instead which was recommended by the sommelier and went perfectly with our meal. Overall an excellent spot for fine dining !

A simply perfect dining experience! It has become the absolute favourite for my wife and I and we have never been disappointed. The staff and service are exceptional and take personal pride in ensuring you have a benchsetting experience. The food changes regularly and features a delightfully innovative range of dishes based on various Australian native ingredients. All options are paired with exquisite wines or other beverages to your taste and the range of options is wide enough to satisfy even the most discerning palate. My only gripe is that you have to wait so long to get a booking but that's what happens when you are just so good!

Everything was immaculate from the views on entry to the servers attention to detail. The attention to detail started from the flowers my friend bought for me got put in an ice bucket which I thought was a nice touch. You start off by getting some delicious freshly baked sourdough, it was warm and soft a nice start. I got the prawns minus the dairy they were delicious and the added freshness of the finger limes and native greens were a perfect pairing. I got to try my friends duck which was also delicious. They took my dairy intolerance into account for everything else I ordered and which I loved because I didn’t have to remind them with each dish. For the main I got the steak, perfectly cooked. But the real star of the show was the strawberry dessert I had the dairy free option and it was amazing! This is a place you would go to impress a date or a nice treat for yourself.

An exceptional fine dining experience with creative dishes, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and wonderful atmosphere with the beautiful sunset hues in the background. We experienced the 8 course and paired the wines. Every dish was a highlight but especially the asparagus, duck and scallop. The wines paired perfectly and the cocktails… wow. It was a special occasion and it truly felt special.

We kept on changing the number of people in our booking at Wildflower, and I was grateful for the help of the staff at the hotel. In the end, it was a dinner for a group of 4. Initially, we chose the 4-course tasting menu ($135), but we changed it to 6-course ($165). I remembered having a great experience at Wildflower when it first opened, so I was super keen to dig into all the dish. I need to mention that the cocktail list is impressive because each cocktail incorporates native Australia botanicals in it. I liked the Sandalwood Espresso out of the three cocktails that we ordered. The list of non-alcoholic drink seems promising as well. Cocktails that we drank: PLUM MANHATTAN SANDALWOOD ESPRESSO LEMON MYRTLE DROP As for food, Head Chef designed a menu that made us wanting more. Each plate has a stunning presentation. Check out some of our dishes below. Wildflower also caters for Vegetarian, and each of the vegetarian plates came out as beautiful too One thing that can be improved on: service, service, service.

Sit back and let the highly trained and attentive staff of this venue bring you on a contemporary culinary walk through Western Australia. The six courses testing menu was inspired by the current aboriginal season, and paid tribute to the amazing and peculiar ingredients that WA has to offer! The wine was perfectly matched and brought the whole experience to another level! All of the staff was super attentive and we felt pampered and really well taken cared of! 10/10 even for the high end bill

Went to Wildflower for dinner in Birak season. Had the 6 course degustiatuon with wine pairings. Can honestly say it was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've ever had! The food was incredible and so well balanced and matched with the wines. They also easily catered for my food intolerance (no onion or garlic). Each dish was also super interesting with different ingredients and flavours than I'm used to. Bethany was a wonderful host, she took care of us, explained so many things and answered all of our questions. It was such a fun experience! We will absolutely be going back!!

Can't fault the service or the ambiance (we had a window table) or the food really. Interesting flavours and technics on display. The matched wines were just ok not amazing. Alina our waitress was lovely too. Just can't help think $600 plus for 2 people is too much.

Awful experience, I booked on 2/5 5:30. My friends and I arrived at 5:27, but the elevator is out of order without any notice or sign. We tried so many times and so many ways to get up to the restaurant. We tried to walk by stairs, but it’s only till level 3. Wildflower is level 4. So we go down again to ask other people on ground floor, but no one can help. Until 5:42, 1 man came down from the Wildflower and he “swipe the card for us” and we finally get there. The First Lady who sever us asked: “ how r u today”, I say no good because elevator is out of order. She said: oh yes, I knew that for a while , there’s some problems to the elevator today. The point that I feel very angry is, If you already know the elevator is out of order, why don’t you put a sign to let customers know or do something to solve the problem? But all the staff in the restaurant know this thing and they choose do nothing!!! Very ridiculous ! The reason I came here because Wildflower is top 1 restaurant in WA by AGFG, but in my point of view. This is a joke. The whole team improvise is very poor. They gave us a free juice as compensation. After I finished the meal about 9:20, when I walked out, still no sign says out of order in front of elevator. I don’t need your free juice, I can afford $180 per person. What I want is the manager to teach your staff solve the problem instead pretend nothing happened . If you pay by card, they will have surcharge, the the man in the till didn’t tell you first. The surcharge is a small amount, but if you tell customers inadvance will be better. Otherwise feel very bad.

The restaurant has beautiful views of the foreshore and is laid out so tables get these views. The interior is nicely furnished. This rating is considering the cost; drinks took a fair amount of time to come out and find a wait staff to order. The food was all nice, particularly the duck, but not that unique or standout for the price. Albeit it is a nice and enjoyable dining experience. The take home tea at the end is a nice touch.

At wildflower you absolutely get the best view of the city while enjoying your meal. They have a very good selection of wines, the food was so and so but good thing is they are flexible and tolerant for people with dietary restrictions. It would have been better if they served an a la carte menu rather than a set menu.. The service was great but it can be improved for such an expensive fine dining restaurant and especially being listed and qualified as number 2 best restaurant in Perth Australia. Overall, I highly recommend. It’s a beautiful experience to have!

The ambience in the place was really good. The restaurant was full for most of our sitting but I didn't feel that it was cluttered or even noisy. The space is well designed and the view is pleasant. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. I look forward to returning when I can enjoy the paired wines! Thank you.

This meal was $1300 for 4 people. Food was delicious and quite creative. Wine pairings were well chosen and nice wines. Service was not quite up to the price tag. Overall this was good experience but there are several other degustations in Perth just as good or better for less money.

Had the degustation. Service was good. Price was a bit expensive particularly given the food was disappointing. The courses were good but nothing special up until the fish which was next to raw and the main which was a sirloin steak. The steak was so rubbery that it was hard to cut and too chewy to eat. Very disappointed.

Have been here for a meal twice now, and each time has been brilliant. The flavour combinations are incredible and delicately balanced, wanted to take photos of every dish but got too excited and started eating before I could remember. I believe it is reasonably priced for what you get; of particular mention is the non alcoholic drink pairing - which you must try with your meal! Would definitely come again.

We are so lucky to have a nice corner table without booking for lunch today(pls booking in advance). 6 course menu is fantastic and well worth the price than other short menu in my opinion. My daughter loves wild fish, wagyu beef, and desert of course. Also great staff, very friendly and experienced, we felt very comfortable with the service. Just one more thing if we have to suggest is that child high chair could be more comfortable and quality to match the dining room, after all it is a 2 hours food journey for parents and the little one. We will definitely come back again and again because it’s simply the best one in the town.

We had the 6 course meal degustation, and many many cocktails. The lamb was a bit too fatty and the sauce that went with the duck was too sweet, kind of like jam. The highlight was the cured snapper, roasted octopus and the mandarin myrtle signature cocktail.

We wanted Perth's best fine dining experience, but it fell way short. The food was nice, excellent blend of flavours and good preparation, but the service and ambience was horrendous. Here's where it fell short: Had to chase a waiter for our drinks order; we were on the third course and they still hadn't arrived. This was on a Tuesday night and it wasn't busy. First drink was consumed and then I sat with an empty glass for 10 minutes before I was forced to get another waiters attention for the wine menu. This order arrived quickly, but once finished, I decided to wait and see how long it would take to be offered another drink. After 30 minutes of sitting with an empty wine glass, I gave up. I decided not to order another drink. The glassware is tired. I've been to FIFO camps with nicer glassware. Acoustics of the place are terrible. Don't expect the sound of hushed conversation - expect clamour and noise reflecting off windows (room is very narrow) and marble everywhere. The acoustics sound like a school canteen. Interior decor is also second-rate. Our bill for 4 people was nearly $800, so expectations were high, but the service and the quality of the overall experience was poor.

Excellent service Ok vibe Delicious food I have been wanting to visit wildflower since it opened and finally had the chance this Saturday. Unfortunately we didn’t get a window seat and were sat against the wall which was kind of dark and nothing exciting. Don’t let the setting fool you. The food was spectacular. Everything was beautifully presented with the flavours perfectly paired. We enjoyed a number of dishes we would not usually have chosen which is my favourite part of a degustation menu. Usually a savoury fan the dessert was spectacular, bursting with flavour they were the perfect end. Service was excellent, very attentive and prompt.

We came here many months ago but forgotten to write a review until now. Very interesting dishes with the use of native Australian ingredients. Unique flavours which I've never experienced before. Most dishes were good but some were so-so especially those which I have dietary requirements for and they replaced the dish with vegetables. Had a dish with wiflof and it was very bitter. Dessert was very interesting and good. It is an expensive fine dining place so the portion is very small and the number of courses wasn't enough to fill our belly. Maybe 1-2 more extra courses would be amazing.

This is one of the best fine dining experience this year in WA. every single detail is perfect not only food but also staff. There is nothing really to give any negative word. Food is out standing, especially all sauces, sides, emulations even garnish. Besides, my favorite dish is marron with pumpkin cream and curry leaf, garnish with popped rice which is more likely one of Japanese furikake flavors. It could be a bit too spicy to someone cannot handle spicy food but I am a spicy lover which is perfectly for me 👍. Overall, thanks for this special birthday to my beautiful lady. We both really enjoyed your meals and service experience.

Definitely a unique experience for foodies in Perth! The food es exquisite, the staff knows how to present the dishes and they have a really good wine list. The cocktails are really good too! Try the 6 course tasting menu + wine pairing, you won’t regret it!

Impeccable dining experience. Highly recommend for a luxurious and special date night. We did the 6 course with matching wines and it was divine! The perfect balance of flavours in every dish.. the maron was my favourite. For those worried about the serving sizes - they were very generous courses so you will not leave hungry. Thanks for such a lovely dining experience!

It was a fantastic dining experience. It is expensive and the serves are small but that's a la carte. The dishes employ local ingredients which truly create the dining adventure. Our waitress was extraordinary. The wine and cocktails were fantastic and reasonably priced.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner there on a weekday evening and it was quite a full house. The restaurant's ambiance was relaxed and created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Exploring the menu, we found an array of dishes that were not only visually appealing but also offered a variety of flavors that pleased our taste buds. The standout moment of the evening was the dessert – I really loved the combination of different flavours in it. Our waiter played a significant role in enhancing our experience, he was pleasant and attentive. The complimentary tea bags were also a nice touch to end the night, especially when I'm a tea person. In summary, Wild Flower offered not only a delightful culinary journey but also an inviting atmosphere coupled with friendly service. For those seeking a charming setting and memorable dining experience, I would recommend them.

Totally indulgent 8 course delicious degustation. Every dish was phenomenal, with some standout surprises like the asparagus and also the sorbet desert. Had to go for the paired wines which were perfect. Staff were so super lovely and great background music. Best birthday dining experience I have ever had.

What an extraordinary experience. We had the six course degustation. It was the perfect amount of food. We fell into the Kambarang season. It was just outstanding. Often having degustation menus we have one or two dishes that we can’t fault. This time, all were just perfect. To our server Beth, you’re knowledge on the wines and explanations were brilliant. Thank you for enhancing our dining experience.

One of the restaurants in WA which you shouldn't miss if you are a foodie. I heard that it is modern Australian but I actually thought it a modern French in taste and how they cooked. I was particularly impressed by the precision of the mains was grilled, they were very juicy yet with a hint of crispy roasting surface. I enjoyed the sauce using WA ingredient and presentation delicately featured with WA leaves and flowers as well. The atmosphere and service was a bit friendly side than I expected. The view of Swan River is absolutely gorgeous.

Without a doubt the best restaurant I have dined at in Perth. Everything about it is spot on, from the service to the ambience, the wine list, and of course the food. 5 course tasting menu for lunch was incredible, even at $100 per person it is worth it for the experience. Maybe I've been spoilt by similar overseas venues but I was quite underwhelmed by my Wildflower experience. The service levels were not where I would expect them to be for a restaurant located at the top of a six star hotel. At one stage the waiter actually poured water onto my purse and didn't even seem to realise. I'd also think that for somewhere that charges as much as Wildflower does I could expect my sparkling water to be complimentary (I've been to local cafes that have serve yourself sparkling water for goodness sake!). We also weren't given a copy of the menu which I noticed other tables had been. In terms of the food it was good quality, fresh and a wonderful example of local ingredients being prioritised. Individual elements of several of the dishes were top notch however a few of the dishes just didn't quite come together for me. My favourite mouthful of good for the night was the amuse bouche. If your amuse is your high point then I think there's definite room for improvement. On the plus side, we were given a little plate of fudge at the end that had "happy anniversary" written in chocolate sauce because we had told them it was our wedding anniversary. It was a nice touch but not enough to change my overall view.

The restaurant looked quite stylish in aesthetic (nighttime) and was busy (Saturday night) but the service was prompt, friendly and efficient.

Food was tasted( except the pork collars, i expect mouths melted texture but a bit firm, sauce and side food was normal ), presentations are a bit boring as a fine dining restaurant(maybe because of winter menu or my partner has the amaranth allergy).wait person had well training, knowledge and excellent attitude. Thanks all efforts on my partner's bday. Well done. Btw, pre dessert was amazing, well balance and descent flavour, still thinking afterwards.

Just a tad underwhelmed..Booked in for Friday evening 2 weeks ago for the 4 course and matched wines for a friend's birthday. The waiter made the whole experience rushed and frantic. The second server had a very thick accent and made it very hard to understand what food we were being served. The wine didn't keep up with the course and the main waiter was walking past as whipping cutlery and glassware, so our table felt like a thoroughfare (when it was against a window). To add insult to injury, still water was charged at $10 a bottle (not advertised when offered, only still, sparkling or tap) and then a credit card surcharge on a normal card, which is atrocious when you are spending $500 on dinner for 2. Food was great, but nothing exceptional, and not in my top 5 for dinner in Perth. Sad, will just stick to the downstairs offering.

This is the most elegant restaurant I've been to since I left France 10 years ago. Service is impeccable, food is delicious to both the tastebuds and the eyes, and the surroundings are quietly yet beautifully designed. (The toilets are even 'individual'!) The menu is tuned to the 6 Nyoongar seasons — which is a wonderful idea — using local ingredients to create fine modern Australian cuisine.

For a special occasion i chose to dine here with family. This was my fourth and last visit to wildflower. Each other visit to this restaurant up until my most recent was a 5 star experience. This time? Terrible pairings and the food was underwhelming. We had no idea as to why the food was disgustingly bad, so we eventually discovered that the original head chef from the restaurants original rise had moved on to the restaurant at the Ritz, which explains why the food taste and quality was very, very poor. The 2 stars is purely for the wait staff, who were very friendly.

  • 4/5 Gemma J. 3 years ago on Google
Wildflower is akin to your favorite novel that you don't want to put down at 2am late in the evening. You keep reading and it gets better and better. It all starts with friendly helpful valet parking and the lift takes you to a front desk with helpful, funny and charming wait staff. The decor echoes the artful nod to "wildflower" with an Australian wattle placed next to a flickering led light. Attention to detail with allergies is impeccable as my partner is nut allergic and the utmost care was taken with substitution for the nuts. We chose the biggest degustation course. I won't give away all the menus hot numbers but I loved the scallops and my partner loved the duck. The sommelier The service was excellent however I do wish our first wait staff said goodbyes and announced she was handing our table over to a colleague. My only gripe, apart from the handover is the end of our meals (4th course) my wines were served half way through the meal and red wine was dropped onto both my plate and the table. Though this was cleaned up immediately off the table my glass still had red wine on the glass. This was an amazing experience overall. loved the artful presentation, food to wine pairings and palate lifters within the meals (lime, radish, apple) Our first wait staff was amazing and she should be commended for her knowledge of both food and wines presented, her presentation and personable demure. Thankyou Wildflower I will be back someday.

Great menu, decent view of the bell tower - restaurant is abit narrow but comfortable. Service staff was polite, professional but I felt at times they were rather robotic. I am assuming it could be due to having to wear a mask on which is challenging! Each dishes are beautifully presented, decent portion for the 6 course degustation menu.

A recent review by the West Australian food expert scored the highest rating for this restaurant ever given in West Australia. For once, he was spot on. The original chef departed this place recently and the remaining colleagues seem to have lifted the place a few more notches. The food is superb and the service is impeccable. Yes, it is very expensive, but very well worth every dollar spent here.

Had the best fine dine experience ever. Everything was perfect from the 1st second to the last. Will definitely coming back.

This is the best degustation in Perth right now and I can see why they have such immaculate plate settings and service. I've been there a few times now and I've enjoyed every dish I've tried and they take great pride in their food. Would recommend even if it's just once in your lifetime it's worth the experience.

It was also one of the most rudderless, with menu descriptions reading like complete gibberish. Finger lime, sea blight, kohlrabi, and macadamia milk with my blue crab? Red emperor with a garlic squid ink waffle? And perhaps the most perplexing, botrytis semillon custard with lemon aspen and toasted sandalwood?! As my mom put it, that sounds like a disease, not a dessert.

Not cheap but well worth it for the special occasion. Loved the Marron and introduced to some new wines that were very nice. Alisa looked after us for many of our dishes. She was very friendly and knew the food and wine very well.

Blush @ Wildflower was one of the best fine dining experiences I have had. Emma our wine guide was very knowledgeable, the food was exquisite and delightfully surprising - I would recommend Wildflower as a very special experience.

Very disappointing. The wine bar downstairs was far better than upstairs. Slow service is an understatement. $20 for one person sparkling water and one tap water is expensive, but most of the night our glasses were empty with nobody around to help. Overpriced wine again we sat with empty glasses whilst our bottles sat out of reach. Ended up leaving $120 of wine as they closed before we finished. The food was average, seems more of a gimmick that fine flavours. Lamb was fatty and tough and seriously not worth the money. Disappointing night out.

The food and service was simply breathtaking, words won't do justice to how good this is! The 6 course degustation menu is to die for, each course somehow better than the last. When the final dessert came I was blown away. As they say, do yourself a favour 🤤

Food was interesting, some hit and miss. Octopus and duck dish were the stand out ones. Lamb was cooked perfectly but the peppermint gum/yoghurt is abit too overpowering. Passionfruit sorbet was amazing!!! We had the 6 course degustation. Cocktails were interesting but nothing to rave about. Service was good. All in all, good experience but I personally wouldnt go back.

Hands down the best restaurant in Perth, and most definitely competes with many of the starred restaurants in other areas of the world I’ve been to. Super lucky to have this gem in Perth!

Brilliant food. Good wine. Service was slightly annoying as we had a different person serving us our food the whole evening. They didn't talk loud enough so half the time we were guessing what we were eating. For 2 people bottle of wine, gins and dinner $450. Steep but you get what you pay for.

I can't begin to describe how good the service and food was. They could not have done any more to make our special occasion any better. They would have received 6 stars of that was an option.

Definitely a beautiful place with a very polite service. The moron was our highlight for the dishes. As foreigners it was not always easy to catch every detail in each plates as the explanations were thrown so fast but we try to Google everything afterwards. A place I can recommend where you better book!

One of my favourite Perth Restaurants. If you enjoy Australian native cuisine as much as I do this place is a must. Accompanied by highly trained and friendly staff it’s a go to restaurant you have to try!

Booked to celebrate a special occasion and had been very much looking forward to it. The whole experience was disappointing when paying almost $600 for 2 people. For that price I want to be leaving thinking "Wow" which we wasn't. It was so dark could barely see what we was eating, food was tasty but not mind blowing, staff were friendly but seemed very rehearsed and scripted when explaining each dish, almost robotic with little personality coming through. Booked months in advance for celebration and probably sat at one of worse table in the place. Overall disappointing experience

I haven't been called Sir so often since I was an officer in the Boer War (not). Apart from the formality, our waiter brilliantly steered us to the shorter menu, a given for insiders, when you know the last table to be seated on a Tuesday, will be "helped" to a shorter "experience". The courses came out as quickly as acceptable at this price level. The eats were contemporary and well executed, with the pescatarian substitutes as unfussy as a pantone chair, and just as thought through. Overall, a good experience at the pointy end, at the pointy West end of Oz.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Perth! Excellent service and amazing unique food! Each dish has its own unique flavour and ingredients are sourced from local WA! Shark bay fish, Fremantle octopus and cheese from down south! first time to know you can actually eat Geraldton wax😬 worth to check out the new dishes every now and then, highly recommended!

Best fine dining experience I have ever had. The food truly was incredible. I love how they incorporate native ingredients which are based on the current indigenous season. I had the 6 course tasting for lunch. Everything was delicious but my most faves were definitely the duck liver parfait, wagin duck breast and the desert lime sorbet!🤤 Amazing!

I haven't dined at this restaurant, but treated myself last Thursday, late afternoon, to a couple of cocktails. This was my second cocktail visit, and won't be the last! As it was only 5pm , the balcony area was quiet and I had it to myself. Service was exceptional and both staff who looked after me were professional and courteous. The floor manager /maitre'de/senior waitperson (unsure of his standing) was knowledgeable of all things alcohol, and a true delight to engage in conversation with him. Sensational martini, spectacular view.

Took my partner there a couple of days ago for her birthday. We had the 6 course tasting menu and it was fantastic. The creativity from the head chef and the team was second to none with amazing flavours. Front of house staff was exceptional with great customer service. Great knowledge and understanding of the wine pairings. Like the atmosphere and the ambiance. Highly recommend

Great experience, much better than expected. One of the best restaurants that I have been in Australia. We really loved the 6 dishes menu and the wine pairing was great. Also, very kind staff. Highly recommended.

Outstanding food and service! We'll return for lunch. Low lighting made it difficult to appreciate the beautiful dishes, but using our phone lights revealed amazing details, like mini beetroot flowers. The bartender nailed it with a perfectly chilled Gimlet in a Nick & Nora glass.

During our short weekend trip, we randomly chosen this restaurant with a good rating. It was a disappointed experience. We tried the set menu here, 8 courses, 230 AUD each person. The taste this time focuses on acidity, bitterness and saltiness, and it can be seen obviously that the chef really likes the large grain salt, finger lime and coarse grind pepper which give the tongue a uncomfortable irritation, paralyzing feeling. There are large grains of salt in many dishes(even desserts) and the chopped nuts have no aroma. It seems that they have been refrigerated for a long time. Some ingredients are not fresh, such as bread that has been aged and revived, randomly cut cheese that has been roasted for a long time by a lamp. The skin of roasted duck was crispy, but the meat wasn't evenly heated. Waiters will secretly laugh at customers. Very imaginative, also combined with local ingredients. As someone who has lived in Italy for ten years, I can say that any Italian family restaurant is far above this one, at least not any restaurant in Italy serves fried potato chips pretending to be white truffles(It does say potato chips on the menu). Will not come again.

Lovely fine dining experience, Waiters were prompt and timely with their dishes, picturesque views of the sunset in the sky over the rooftop of buildings. Quite a romantic vibe. Recommend their degustation menu!
