West end deli used to be a great spot but ever since it changed owners a couple of years ago it's gone severely downhill. No one knows how to make coffee, the food is terrible (my breakfast has multiple hairs in it) tacky art on the walls and seems to have different staff every weekend. Such a shame because it had great food and coffee and such a nice vibe in a past life! They used to bake beautiful scrolls every weekend and now it's just stale, brought-in cakes and pastries!

A lovely quite place to have breakfast, lunch or brunch. Food was very good, quantity was filling. Service was good, Lofa was polite and helpful. Nicely done ambience, with indoor and outdoor seating. Street doesn't get heavy traffic so it's peaceful to sit out as well. Will visit again to try out more stuff on the menu.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and thoroughly enjoyed our bottomless brunch. That’s heaps to the friendly staff for an experience that I will not forget for a long time.

This was a difficult one to review. Overall I'd give it 2 stars, but the coffee was 5/5 so rather than bring down their average rating let's just say 5 stars if you're getting a takeaway coffee. 5/5 coffee - among one of the best coffees in Perth 3/5 chocolate danish - it was a bit stale, not fresh and flakey as you would expect 3/5 mushroom soup - Get this if you're craving a French onion soup, but it didn't taste like mushroom soup and was quite acidic 1/5 chilli crab linguine - Linguine was perfectly cooked, but the flavours were unbalanced with the overwhelming flavour being a very sour tomato paste that overpowered everything. Disappointing at $29. 3/5 service - staff were quite friendly when you managed to catch one, but seemed confused and disorganised and our experience wasn't good overall 2/5 bathrooms - obvious effort has gone into decorating the bathrooms and they could be so nice, but the lighting was so dim it was almost pitch dark. Toilet seat has not been properly installed so the rim is exposed. Additional rolls are located in a separate "room" so are out of reach when you need them. Finally, to reach the bathroom you need to squeeze through a rather small gap between two large tables of other customers, which isn't pleasant for anyone. Overall I wouldn't dine here for brunch again, but would pick up a takeaway coffee if we're in the area. Other tables seemed to greatly enjoy their high tea towers so that might be worth a go!

Great cafe tucked away, coffee was good. Wait times were a little long based on how busy they were. Freshly baked bread looked very tasty and the desert cabinet looked good too. Chicken waffle had a dry waffle and extra for bacon which was a tasty thick cut bacon. Mushroom bruschetta was tasty and well dressed.

Amazing High Tea! The service was quick, the food was delicious. The high tea portion was big enough to leave everyone full. The pictured platter is shared between two. Parking is easy in this location, plenty of street parking is available.

Wow! What a perfect find! tucked on the corner of the no where particularly prominent, the food and service here was outstanding. The bread is baked fresh in house and on a nice day you can sit outside. If it's not peak time, it isn't too noisy on the road. The inside was also beautifully designed

Fried Peri Peri Chicken Baguette comes with leafy vegetable, tomatoes and onion salad. Delicious and hot, not spicy. Cuppuccino is nicely prepared, temperature, milk and coffee, is just right. Fabulous music in the background. Thank you West End Deli

Excellent version of Eggs Benedict with Avocado, instead of bread or bun, served on a hash brown, with just right amount of Hollandise sauce. Coffee strong with excellent crème. Thoroughly recommended!

This place has been fantastic for so long. Always striving for excellence. Not afraid to be bold and focus on a simple menu that is excellent, rather than presenting 20+ options that don't deliver. Deservedly a main stay breakfast cafe of West Perth.

Dog friendly, nice little neighbourhood cafe. The coffee and hash browns were so good. As was the chorizo dish.

This is possibly my favourite coffee shop of all times! Service is always great, coffee is delicious and food – both sweet and savoury – are always incredible, they turn traditional food into next level dishes, and their location is perfect! PS: Try their juices too!

Came for the brunch on a week day and was surprised to see the cafe was packed! Great ambience with friendly staff. Food service was quick despite the queue (this is a very popular cafe). Food and coffee was great plus super healthy bowl was to die for and zucchini and corn fitters too. I recommend to try their zucchini and corn fitters.

I did the high tea today with 3 friends. The food was really tasty with lots of savoury options. I found it good value and would recommend to others.

Wow....$$$25 dollars.... hahahha.. And if you want we will throw in some toast ...we are a GF restaurant... Egg Benedict is not called a Benedict without a muffin you french git. So you replace the muffin with on potato cake.... I think your scarf is cutting air off to your brain ... Yours and mine ..what do reakon would be value to be totally ripped off

Over the years this has been a pretty busy place. Service is hit and miss, today they seemed disinterested in providing table service for example. Food ranges from sublime down to mediocre at best. The pancakes I had for brunch today had amazing ingredients, would have been lovely served hot, or warm even. As it was, they were cold by the time they got to my table. On the other hand, the toasted banana bread was lovely. This isn't an isolated incident, it's been happening for years. Every so often I come back to see if anything has changed. Not this time, unfortunately. I really want to like this place, but perhaps next time ... Concrete floors cause the sound levels to be high, street parking is often limited, pricing is in my opinion a tad steep for the experience. Check it out, but perhaps not for an important occasion.

Very little cozy place. Staff were friendly and coffee was good. We had ham and egg baguette which is very classic and nice. However, I tried their New item which is Chicken & Waffle. It was looks blend...not very attractive. It was tasteless.... chicken was tender but no flavour at all. So disappointed about this dish.....

Not a good experience, table had to be wiped down twice, the Reuben baguet was cold, out of the fridge and the other meal was a Breakfast muffin, the egg was not cooked, had raw egg white and the sausage was cold. Also the side order of halloumi was cold and dried out. The only good thing was the coffee.

Amazing place to dine in for brekky or lunch. I personally love the Shakshuka, Chicken waffle and a variety of their delicious pastry options. Keen to try their bottomless brunch! Staff is also very friendly and responsive.

Visited West End Deli on a Saturday afternoon and it was amazing! I ordered an Oat Latte and the coffee was perfect, one of the best I have had. I also ordered the Big Brekky and I was so happy. Everything on the plate was delicious and great portion sizing. My friends also enjoyed their coffees and meals. I’ll definitely be coming back again to try more on the menu.

This is a delightful place for a coffee, bite or catchup. I highly recommend this cafe and the service is fantastic. Also the best Shakshuka I’ve had in Perth.

A very warm and polite welcome from the lovely lady at front counter today. Service was friendly. Coffee was nice (although the sugar cube concept doesn't break down easily). Crispy polenta dish was lovely although the flies at my inside table were off the charts today. Something needs to be done to control the flies... ruined a lovely meal.

Lovely food and service. Something for everyone. We got there pre lunch rush and there was plenty of seating (we sat outside). Definitely want to go back again ☺️

Poor customer service .This morning when i go there for breakfast I ordered egg and cheese sandwiches n cappuccino food was very good i was enjoying in middle of breakfast i took Tissue paper and on that tissue I found spite they didn’t even check before they serve yuk it Literally made me feel vomit and sick 🤕 and I spotted my meal and I requested the manager to come and have a look. Staff came and took that tissue box away but the sick feeling was still in my stomach . I don’t want any refund and At least as a courtesy and apology but they don’t even apology and did not even show any response. Shame

Really good service, generous with their time and attention to detail. Excellent food - chicken waffles, will come back for time and again. Bottomless brunch, truly bottomless. Must try.

We've been going to our local West End Deli for years and they have always provided amazing food and service. Today the owner, Rachael, went over and above for me - which she didn't need to do. She truly cares about her customers and community :)
