Dining at Chakra is a wonderful experience. Customer service is exceptional, and the food is divine. This is by far the best Indian I have tried in Perth. The fresh ingredients and spices really stand out, and no artificial colouring or flavourings are used. We dined here yesterday and ordered some dishes which we had never experienced before. Most dishes we ordered were vegetarian, apart from the wild caught barramundi, all were superb! Oh and the cocktails....amazing! Thank you to the staff at Chakra!

Amazing Indian food. The best beef samosas I've ever had. And the fact you can choose your spice levels is a game changer. In Australia, curries are bland. Not here. The spicy butter chicken was a revelation. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing place to eat! This beautifully decorated restaurant offers delicious meals with great portion sizes with the option to take home if you are full. The lychee mock tail was so yummy! The service was 10/10 with close attention to detail describing how their menu works and offering great recommendations. The service was honest, letting us know if we were ordering too much food. The menu was extensive and offered many options for both vegetarians and vegans with separate menus for both dietary requirements. We went for our anniversary and received a beautiful hand written card from the staff. It was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys delicious Indian food 😀

Christmas Day lunch special. Excellent service. Attentive staff. Well planned 6course menu. Potato nest chat, duck bonda, pani puri very delicious . Chicken naan taco was tasty but found the naan slightly chewy. Dhaba style chicken dish was rustic and delicious . The eggplant and lamb main was salty but the staff happily replaced the meal with a less saltier version which was delicious. Desserts were the best part. All in all great experience.

Best Indian food in Perth, hands down. Ordered jackfruit-tofu parcels for entree, tried the pani puri shots with tequila, lamb-aubergine bharta and duck korma for mains and everything was impeccable including the service, quality, portion sizes, spices and speed. Went perfectly with the saffron infused Karma G&T and Guru amaretto cocktail. Highly recommend! As good as Michelin starred Indian cuisine I’ve had elsewhere.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Chakra for my birthday dinner. The meals were all delicious, with some nice complimentary snacks and Panipuri shots alongside the meal. We ordered the beef samosa cones, butter chicken, pot of Biryani (this was the favourite), mango lassi, masala chai tea and brownie with rose ice cream. Staff were great, super friendly and courteous. They even offered me a small gift and prepared a hand written card for my birthday! Highly recommend, we will be back for sure.

We were booked in to the Chakra Restaurant on Sunday 31 January for my birthday celebration and unfortunately it was unable to accommodate dine in customers at short notice due to a government directive. To the credit of management, we were offered a takeaway selection which was excellent and we really appreciated. The food is always fabulous, tasty and generous serves, we highly recommend the delightful Chakra Restaurant and will return.

It was a blast! Absolutely stunning, exceptional! From the friendly front staff, to delicious and modern food, chefs pamper you during dinner and make you feel comfortable, it’s a truly excellent experience. They welcome you with a personal card placed on the reserved table, some crackers to start with and a tablet from which see all the food item and order. The chefs revisit Indian popular dishes in a modern key and different: for example usually butter chicken is a curry but in this restaurant you would found inside a pastry (you also have as a normal curry). Between the entree and the mains, you will receive a drink for clean up your mouth. At the end of the dinner a little surprise for you: fennel seeds for a quick digestion. I am very much looking forward to come back and if you are in doubt do yourself a favor: book a table asap!

We loved the food however we waited over 1 hour to be served. We weren't taken to our table as it was busy they just pointed to our seats. We had to ask for menus, drinks and to order. My new favorite Indian restaurant in Perth! The staff are fantastic, who go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The food was incredible and the best tasting Indian I've found in Perth. I loved the decor and layout of the restaurant. There isn't one thing I could fault about Chakra.

Fabulous restaurant, extra welcoming and lovely service. I felt cared and looked after the whole time I was here (usually rare to find a place that is busy but still makes every table feel special) - kudos for making us feel like a VIP.. their service was impeccable! Food and cocktails was amazing - best Indian restaurant ever!!

A romantic atmosphere makes you feel comfortable immediately! The staff welcomes you, takes care of you, super friendly and helpful! The food was just a dream and as a vegan I was super happy for so many vegan options! So much flavor in every dish makes you enjoy every bite! Their vegan cheese naan bread surprised me the most, because there was a thick layer of cheese and as many of you know vegan cheese is hard to melt, but this one reminded me of “normal” cheese! I think after trying their food it will be hard for me to eat anywhere else indian food, I’ll compare it always to the best indian food I ever had in Chakra!

I went there for a company Christmas dinner and was blown away by the flavours. The food was amazing! Each dish on the banquet menu is packed full of flavour and the menu itself is so well-curated that all the dishes complemented each other. It was a really good experience. Staff are very friendly and very accomodating as well. The ambience was very nice albeit a little bit noisy but it was probably because there were other large groups around too. The cocktails are yummy! Really good fusion of Indian and Western ingredients. The karma cocktail is a must. Would highly recommend for special occasions!

Seriously the best Indian food I think I've ever had. The takeaway is consistently amazing, and always comes with handwritten notes and little extras. Dining in is a whole other level, complete with friendly, genuine service, and delicious cocktails.

Great place, great people, great food and great service also! They go out of their way to make their customers happy, constantly refilling our water, checking if everything is okay. I visited this place on the occasion of my birthday along with my two more friends..it was our first visit and I think will gona be a start of journey to be a frequent customer of this restaurant. Everything about this restaurant is upto mark.. From welcoming to good bye superbly fantastic.. we had a dinner there which was super scrumptious. Zeera infused lemonade was awesome.. they really gave me a VIP treatment and celebrate my special day with a small desert and gave me a complimentary birthday Present.. Food 5star+ service 5 star+ ambience 5 star and and interaction of Owner with us will deserve 100 stars.. he, by the way of dealing, stole our hearts. The food was outstanding, the service could not fault as they were attentive, explaining the different foods and flavours, I had the shot drink platters of which was enjoyable to drink, flavours yum, I had a wild caught barramundi with the most beautiful flavour, there was goat, briyani, butter chicken, and the entrees cannot even remember. You will need to go and try the MODERN INDIAN FUSION dinner. Thank you

Experienced Chakra again last night for my birthday - and I do mean experienced. The food is fantastic, the service exceptional, the staff friendly and fun, and the ambience amazing. Eating at Chakra is always like eating with family - I could not recommend more highly. Our family eating with us asked how many times we've eaten here - we have no idea other than many many times.

They are best in their customer service, I had dinner booked for my birthday. They treated me so special as they organised happy birthday song with small gift which was amazing. Food were delicious the only downfall was biryani which for other people it may taste nice, for me I could smell slight smelly may be from dough or pre-fried onions. If that biryani was up to standard I would give them 5 out of 5.

Such an amazing array of vegan menu options! Also really yummy mocktails for those who are alcohol free or just don't feel like having a "drink". Attentive service, came to ask us several times if we meant to order that much food between the two of us (we absolutely did. Would we finish it? Of course not, but we wanted to try it all out! which meant we got to enjoy it again for lunch!). Nice ambiance and interior design. Overall, a lovely experience, and somewhere I will definitely return.

I’ve been going to Chakra for a few years and it’s a great place to celebrate special occasions. Each visit is a special experience. The food is well presented, but the portions could be a bit bigger. However,the service and and the atmosphere is one of the best in Perth. I definitely recommend this place for a birthday as they have a birthday card, they bring a small Indian cake with candle and a turban for the birthday person. All my friends I have surprised with a dinner at Chakra loved the experience. An opportunity for improvement could be the sparkling wine offerings, as they only have only 3 at the moment. Hopefully when I return they have more options or different options.

I associate Indian food with family and abundance. The quality of the food was good & and the service was great. Beautiful ambience. Meal size however was very disappointing, especially for the higher than expected price. One serve of the Basmati was very small. It wouldn't have cost anymore for a generous serve of rice. For a family of 4, dessert for each, would set you back a bit. Would recommend for folk who aren't seeking a big feed and happy to pay more for an incredible, authentic atmosphere and smaller servings.

One of the best indian restaurants in Perth! Staff is super friendly and accommodating and they provide exceptional service. Food is next level! I really liked the selection of entrees, it's different to what's offered in other indian restaurants. Menu also offers wide range of the traditional main dishes and very yummy deserts. Every dish is beautifully presented, delicious and full of flavours. Kids dishes are very cute and yummy too. Highly recommend this place!

Went to Chakra for hubby’s birthday tonight and the whole night was amazing. We were welcomed, and once they knew we had been in once before a few months ago they welcomed us back, and thanked us for returning. Our waitress was lovely, friendly, and answered our questions about the dishes with a lovely manner (thank you!). The ambiance was beautiful, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. At the end of the night, as we were about to leave they brought out a small birthday cake dessert, and an Indian headpiece for my husband to wear while they sang Happy Birthday. They even gave him a small gift. Such a lovely experience and very much appreciated by both of us. We will absolutely be back next time we’re in Perth. Thank you x

Outstanding Hospitality and Attentive Staff. This was my first time, a family friend recommended it. It was my birthday... loved the personalised touches of the Reservations Card, Birthday Card and Gift. Delicious traditional Food. First time sipping on a bottle of Wine from a vineyard in India. All around a fantastic, memorable evening. Would highly recommend, can't wait to introduce this restaurant to friends.

Amazing foods. Delicious, flavour bursting, creative and original Indian cuisine served with top class presentation. It was my birthday and they surprised us with a little candle on a cake and turban, so sweet! They take such care in service, the owner chatted with us about the homemade dishes too. Definitely recommend 👌 I don't often give a 5 on reviews but this place deserves a 5!

My partner and I came here from Baldivis for our anniversary as a vegan and vegetarian it is surprisingly hard to find food that is better than what we can get at home and worth the cost. The food at Chakra was hands down amazing. The service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend a visit even if it's a drive it is well worth the trip. Will be coming back.

Great dine in service and takeaway food. I've ordered twice on Menulog, both times it said delivery of food would be an hour, but it arrived in half an hour 🙂. Dine in: Easy ordering on the tablets - name, picture and description. Tasty drink options. A good selection of vegan and vegetation options.

Always and consistantly been an amazing dining experience both the food and service. Havent stopped going for the last 2 years.

Ittni izzat to khabi ghr walo nay nahi di 🤣. Outstanding customer service. Food was okay but loved the environment and great attention to details. Not to mention, the Margarita cumin lemonade was extra ordinary.

This was amazing! Such a brilliant modern indian restaurant. They cater to all different dietary needs. I'm vegan and my partner is a meatlover and we both were super impressed. I ate far too much and would have loved to eat more but the sizes were huge and delicious. The service was exceptional - my drinks were filled and replaced so quickly that I didn't even notice them do it! So proficient! All the additional touches such as the palette cleansers were perfect. I would definitely recommend and go back again!

Wonderful service and good authentic food. Prices might seem high, but service comes with a cost. I'm not a vegan but ordered only vegan food all night - changed my perspective about vegan diet. For important events - graduations, birthdays, business dinner - I will definetly recommend it!! It' s like we got piece of India in our own back yard.

Beautiful night at Chakra restaurant! Haven’t had such good service in a little while - such professional and attentive service from all of the staff. The food was amazing, couldn’t fault anything...we’ll be back again!

I chose this place based on the great reviews from the local guides. Wasn't let down. On arrival we noticed a lot of Indians, so that was a good sign. So good I only took a single picture. The seating is tight but comfortable. The ambience and lighting is nice and the chairs are good. We were seated and given small Tablets to peruse the menu, a very nice touch as you can see the pictures of the options, it also has a shortlist function so you can decide what you like as you read though. It also has a call waiter function. The food was fantastic, we ordered a couple of speciality dishes, prawn madras and a vindaloo. The food was amazing and the vindaloo wasn't too hot for us, most of the food was mild by request. Service was very good the wait staff were friendly, topping up drinks, checking our meals yet weren't intrusive. Table was also cleaned inbetween the entree and main. There was a palate cleanser between the entree and mains which is a nice touch. Didn't try the desserts as we had eaten too much food. We'll certainly return.

Great service, great food!

I went there tonight for my daughters 22nd birthday. The staff went all out with a special Birthday card for my daughter. We were given many complimentary small items - the dinner was very tasty - and my daughter got a special desert for her birthday - and a small gift. Absolutely amazing night - great and helpful staff. Only damper was somebody crashing into my car on 7th Avenue and taking off without leaving details.

Honestly the food was incredible, I love my Indian food and I have to say that this is the best Indian restaurant in Perth! The staff are so warm and welcoming and make you feel special. Great service with a smile. From the moment they take the booking over the phone to seating you down when you're at the restaurant. They Take order on the tablets and friendly staff explains everything which is good. Food tasted as good as it looked. While we were there we were discussing what we will have next time we go there 😁😆. Free pani puri tasting was good touch. Excellent selection of drinks. Entree sizzling hot tower platter was star of the show. Lemon rice with barramundi was great, beef vindaloo and okra was as good as we have in India. All in all if you want a great dinner experience you can't miss this restaurant. Definitely going back soon.
