The bed is super comfortable especially after a day of travelling in Perth city and need a good rest badly. The check-in/out are not much of a hassle and the front desk explained well on the parking matter. Located not far from tourist spots when you are driving.

Great hotel not to far from the city. It is a small cozy place in what seems to be a quite neighborhood. I would stay here again.

Nice friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant attached. Rooms are nice too If I have to be real pedantic, the showers are a battle to adjust between "glacial mode" or "fiery pits of hell mode". My only real gripe and the reason it does not get a better rating, is that the wi-fi here is absolutely abysmal. Hard to make video calls or even load websites. I do not like it when I am forced to use analog media for entertainment (A book!!). Now I missed watching my favorite football team get absolutely trashed once again... Although I should probably appreciate being spared yet another defeat. But besides wi-fi I could certainly stay here again.

Wouldn't recommend staying. Such a shame this hotel has some good points, however most importantly, it is missing that key factor..Customer Service. Young and inexperienced and unhelpful staff on the front desk. Spoiled my whole experience. On the positive side please eat at the restaurant it is amazing and so are the staff there.

Consistent with the IHG brand in all aspects. So you know what you’re getting. Great renound Perth Italian restaurant downstairs which is a bit unique in my experience. Serves great breakfast, coffee and bar and dinner meals.

Day 2 of my covid travel quarantine in Holiday Inn and here are my observations : POSITIVES: -rooms are clean and spacious -not had an issue with the staff, kept it professional with short responses but lacked the positive vibe/friendliness/cheerfulness that makes you feel welcomed. However, they were not bad or unpleasant either. -you do get a lot of options on Uber Eats from the restaurants around. -coffee machine and fridge. -Super comfortable bed. NEGATIVES: -no windows/balconies so if you are a smoker or have claustrophobia, its not ideal for quarantine. -no microwave/stove for you to reheat your food. -water from shower will flow out to the dry areas (toilet/sink) because it is not partitioned. -wifi internet connection has been extremely poor. Forget about watching Netflix or live streaming sports games. On certain parts of the day, you may be able to do a little light surfing on the internet before it gets disconnected. Receptionist was unable to help and reasoned that many students are quarantining in Holiday Inn so the connection may be unstable. No offence to her but the package I paid for includes WIFI so the management should have the foresight to accommodate to that or offer some reimbursement especially since I would have to purchase extra data in order to hotspot from my phone to laptop. End note: this hotel may be a nice place to stay as a normal guest but if you are looking to do your covid quarantine, look elsewhere. If you're a student/professional/overseas traveller who needs stable WIFI connection, look elsewhere.

As a loyal regular Holiday Inn member I am almost everytime happy with the customer service and room quality. I was very disappointment with the reoccurring poor, hostile, dismissive service of the Receptionist Richard. As an Elite platinum IHG member I have never felt more belittled, uncomfortable and disrespected as just a customer. Arguments over my rights as an IHG member is something I didn't want to experience, and also being spoken down on him mentioning my queries were like "going around in circles". It is very important to learn customer service skills in order to build a great lasting business with returning customers.

Location: located in west Perth, it is a 20 minutes walk to the nearest train station, 10 minutes walk to the bus stop. It is a quiet area of west Perth. Parking: Paid on the roadside. Room condition: Carpet is dusty. The waste bin in the toilet is heavily damaged and rusty. The walls of the room have many punctured damages, same for the bed frame. The only window of the room is very dirty and heavily stained. The bedside lamp is faulty and multiple feedback to the front desk did not solve this problem. It is still faulty when we checked-out. Noise insulation: Bad. The exhaust fan on top of the restaurant's kitchen keeps making non-stop whirling sound and it is especially loud at night, unable to sleep well. Do not get a room facing Hay Street as it will overlooking the roof of the restaurant. Breakfast: A good variety of choices. They do not top up the emptied yoghurt bowl and fruit bowl after guests have emptied it. Front desk keeps wanting to charge me for breakfast but we had book a room with included breakfast. Air-conditioning: Finicky, the temperature keeps fluctuating too cold or too warm, when set at 23 degC. The air-conditioning panel keep giving warning "air filter needs maintenance."

The concierge had no knowledge of the local area when we asked if there was somewhere close by to watch the AFL grandfinal. Went into the restaurant for breakfast and was told we could sit where we liked. A while later, the waitress showed some other guests to a table near us, and she brought them menus. Then she came back to take their order. We still hadn't seen a menu yet. We felt forgotten.

Tidy clean modern. Service was good, they did have mishap with room billing but was all rectified the next day and gave me a nicer room for my troubles. Parking 6pm - 8am is free. They also offer free carpark about 2mins walk away if you validate ticket at concierge. Good experience here would happily return

Front desk staffs were friendly and helpful especially Yatharth. The room is much bigger than I imagined. However, after getting late check out, I got a phone call to ask me whether I will definitely check out at that time and also was knocked the room door.

I had a couple of nights at the hotel, the first time I had stayed at this one. Being in West Perth, it is a little bit out of the centre of the city, which might turn off some people (despite the public transport operating in the area), but this did not detract me, who is quite happy to walk. Check-in ended up being around 1am after a delayed international flight, but the check-in process was as good as I would have expected at a more normal hour. Of course, all I was interested in was getting into bed and trying to sleep after a day of travelling from the other side of the world. There was certainly no problem with the size of the room (which may have been a loyalty-based upgrade), and if corona quarantine had still been in place, would almost have been okay to run a virtual marathon back and forwards in. More importantly, I slep well on both nights. This was greatly helped by proper curtains that spanned the window - I am surprised how poor curtains are in many hotels that do little to keep out the light, especially in areas with very long summer days/nights. Unfortunately my plans meant that I didn't get a chance to try the on-site food or the fitness centre. I'd be happy to return here again when I next find myself in Perth.

I’ve stayed here month one month for work for the last 6 + months. When I started coming there was no recognition of IHG membership, sometimes the rooms didn’t get cleaned when staying multiple. But I’m very happy to say the rooms are immaculately cleaned everyday now. IHG membership is acknowledged, staff are welcoming and any request for extra essentials is without previous confusion (getting a toothbrush was an issue on my first stay). Clearly post covid staffing was an issue…. This has all been resolved now. Happy to recommend moving forward.

Very hygienic. Parking is a hit and miss. Only paid parking on the street from 8am to 6pm. Free breakfast. Dinner seems a bit pricey for me. All Italian dishes.

One star review because your front house staff Richard was so rude , he treated me like i am dumb and raised his voice with an attitude not once but the whole conversation we had was unbelievably uncomfortable .This all because English is my second language and i didn’t understand that i wasn’t already charged when i booked it online. As a woman that is checking out at 3 am this was a shocking experience , I will never be back again!!

Second time staying here. Friendly and accommodating reception staff. The location is perfect, close to city , Kings park and other attractions. I loved my beautiful and comfortable bedroom. Everything was clean and in working order. The coffee machine with 2 pods and milk was a nice touch. The only complaint was that there was a mini bar price list in the room but no stock which was confusing however this was a very minor issue. Would definitely come back to stay.

Modern, fresh and clean. Was very hot when visiting and the air con didn’t seem to want to give cold air. I was there for an event so checked in early but the room wasn’t ready so sat in the restaurant working. Across the hour waiting 3 people checked in early and got rooms. I asked again and there was magically a room free. I also asked the front desk for suggestions on a shopping centre like a Westfield to which they didn’t know what that was. Morning coffee was troublesome as well with the girl not understanding my orders both days even after repeating. I’d stay again, some extra training might be required in some areas.

Very new but typical Holiday Inn style hotel with all the amenities you need as a business traveler. A gym and good restaurant is available. Very friendly and helpfull personnel. Prices in my opinion are a bit on the higher site but saying that it is usual for Australia

We stayed here after reading the reviews about the comfy beds. And yep! They were so comfy! Lovely pillows to choose from too. The rooms were super clean and quiet. We were able to sleep in without realising the time of day from the outside. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed the restaurant cheeseboard and wine. You can pay for on street parking or leave your car in the Wilson carpark which is a short walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly, efficient staff. Restaurant accessibility ♿ was difficult due to out-of-order WC lift. Great accessible room.

The rooms are very clean, bed is comfotable. The restaurant Julios, the food is very good for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very friendly and good service. The parking is the only let down, park a block away at car park.you can catch red cat bus into Perth. Or you can walk, took us about 30minutes.

I love the quality of food and the excellent room service. Hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and patient. However, I feel that the quantity of food served is not as per the price. The quantity of food served is not enough, I feel that more portions of food should be given so as not to feel hungry quickly, especially so during quarantine when we are confined to our room and cant go outside to purchase food. 😔🙂 Other than that, i am really enjoying my stay and will definitely come back again! 🙂

Sage hotel is very conveniently located in the West Perth business district. With great views from the higher floors, to convenient public transport nearby and excellent restaurants and bars a short walk away. From check-in to check-out the reception staff are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant serves delicious Italian food (the pizza is great). However this is yet another hotel that has decided to charge a tray fee for room service delivery, which I absolutely hate, as it discourages people from ordering room service as often as they might.. Apart from that the hotel is great with nice large rooms and super comfortable, luxurious beds. The area gets little busy during the week, but is beautifully quite on the weekends. Overall a highly recommended hotel.

Absolutely amazing, the rooms the view and the service is more then expected. But to Bupesh the receptionist…hats down and major respect to him for his amazing service and kind smile with Friendliness, a man who this hotel should employ more like and not only that but hold tight onto !!!!.

Had a wonderful stay. The team were very friendly and the location is an easy 10 min walk to the city or Kings park. Hotel is modern and clean and the restaurant below is fabulous. Breakfast is delicious and parking is only a 2 min walk away. We had a great time and would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Amazing place to stay , Easy bus access to the city via Red Cat. Room service and the people who make up the rooms are great service. And the breakfast is very nice also.

Lovely rooms, fantastic servers in the cafe/resturant. I must admit though it is 100% the best place in perth to stay for only $130 a night. They have a gym, room service everything

We did our isolation here and the staff were fantastic bringing our deliveries up to us. Once we were free we could enjoy the pool and BBQ area.

Really easy booking, good price, nice spacious rooms, even the pod coffee machine was good for a quick espresso before shooting out the door! Only gripe is the lift is really slow and floor surface of lift needs replacing (been like that for months).

Reasonably good hotel room. The AC wasn't the best but good bed and location. The breakfast downstairs have good options too.

We had to change rooms because the bed light was strobing and it is the main light, do turning that off turned all lights off, and the new hadn't been cleaned fully. But the staff were nice and accommodating throughout it.

From the moment we arrive, we are always looked after and feel welcome. Rooms are quite spacious and well presented. Julio’s restaurant is also a bonus with great food.

Clean, affordable especially with breakfast included (depending on what room size) comfortable bed, staff are very friendly and helpful, only fault bit slow taking your food order. Close enough to transport and walking distance to Kings Park. Would diffently stay again.

Service was slow, because of understaffing. Backgroung music terrible Atmosphere was hassled. Rooms were serviced only on demand (twice). No value for money.

Like most hotel rooms this one was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The staff at reception was very friendly and so helpful. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop where you can take the free bus into the city.

We have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and it had never disappointed. The room rates are extremely competitive and the service is excellent. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with large comfortable king sized beds. The breakfast (included in the room rate), is excellent, and the coffee hits the spot. Definitely a place to consider staying if you are in town.
