The food is magnificent. A favourite is the escargot with lashings of garlic and butter. Twice baked cheese soufflé with Roquefort sauce also superb. Great room, great service and reasonable prices.

My son chose this restaurant to celebrate his graduation with his family of 7. On arrival the tall, robust lady was not welcoming and bordering on being abrupt. With all the precautionary safety measures in place we were seated in a very tight corner with close proximity to two other families and there was no social distancing. We promptly asked to be seated in an open area and were told to bring our water glasses with us. We were taken back by this request. The tall, robust lady's mannerism was not what one would expect from dining at the Bistro Guillaume with bread being thrown across the table to reach the side plate and then to comment "got it". Customer service was extremely poor all night, though the food was enjoyable. First and only time we will be dining at Bistro Guillaume.

Have been to Bistro Guillame a number of times and have always had excellent food and service. Have also recommended it to many friends. However, August 8&9 staying at the Burswood for the weekend celebrating 26 years of marriage, my husband and I decided to have a special dinner. Granted... we didn’t have a booking and we knew it was 5.45pm Saturday evening. We were casual/smartly dressed and met by an unamused snooty Maître Di who looked us up and down when I asked if there was any chance we could have a quick dinner before they got busy. He said, “one moment” he walked into the restaurant, looked left and right, then returned saying “we are full” The place was empty!! Not a single customer. He then said “May I suggest you book next time” I didn’t even have time to answer him as my husband was pulling at me to leave. Wow just WOW

Didn’t have high expectations of this restaurant based on the harsh Google reviews. However the food was excellent and service from the friendly Ashleigh was great too. Try the Beef tenderloin (rib eye) with cauliflower gratin which was amazing. If there was any down side albeit a bit picky it was that it was very hot where we sat although we were told AC was set at 19C and it was very noisy with some large group functions shouting. However thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine and would come again. I also felt that $155 for 2 including wine was reasonably priced.

Front desk waiter was not too inviting when we first entered the restaurant. We were shown to our table by a very nice waitress who made some great suggestion on a cocktail. We had the Mt Barker chicken and my partner had the duck. Both were cooked very well. Chickens skin was crispy yet meat was still juicy and tender. To finish off we had the passion fruit souffle which was presented very nicely.

Having been here several times over the years. Always a lovely time with beautiful food and pool views. Has beautiful interiors. Fantastic location for celebrations 🍾 Our must visit during wintertime for some warm hearty food and worth dressing up for.

Although the food was absolute delicious and the girl who was serving us was lovely our overall experience was not good. I had made a reservation a month in advance and requested a table with the pool view I had also requested that when they bring out the dessert they put a candle in one of the dessert as it was my mum’s birthday. I even called on the day in the morning to confirm the same. Upon our arrival we did not get a table by the pool on the contrary we got the table on the other side of the pool with no view in sight. Plus when the dessert came out there was no candle and as it was suppose to be a surprise for my mum I could not even say anything. I mentioned this when I went to pay the bill and the guy apologised and said that my table was given to someone else by one of the waiters and they did not read the notes about the candle and that was it. Unfortunately as impressed as I was with the food I was disappointed that my mum did not get the surprise I had planned for her.

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant recently, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, with consistent and pleasant style from the moment you enter to the seating area. It truly adds to the fine dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. It was absolutely divine. I couldn't find a single fault in any of the dishes I tried. While the prices may be on the higher side, I truly believe they are justified considering the high quality ingredients and the evident effort put into preparing each dish. What really stood out for me was the impeccable staff and service. They were attentive, warm, and made us feel incredibly well-looked after. When I dined there with a group of 10 people, we were all thoroughly impressed by the great food, service, and the fact that the music was at the perfect volume, allowing us to have a conversation without shouting. Overall, you will not be disappointed by your experience at this restaurant. The delectable food, impeccable service, and delightful atmosphere make it a top choice in the area. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

4.5🌟 for all the food we ordered. As expected from great French foods... They are full of flavour, creamy and buttery, except the Barramundi which we think needed some kind of sauce. The white wines we had balanced the food very well. We celebrated a combined birthday with my sister. As crown reward members, we had a box of complementary chocolate to share and white wine for each guest. The restaurant decor was good. They have pool side views, which unfortunately, our table did not have. When we entered, we were welcomed by a host that was polite but not so friendly. Throughout the night, the interactions and ambience were uncomfortable but polite & formal none the less. We expected much better from a fine dining restaurant. We still had a good night because we were among our dear friends.

Absolutely love this restaurant. We had the festive menu which is 3 courses and from entree to desert I was left wanting more. The staff and service is outstanding. They are very accommodating, friendly and professional. Can't wait to go back.

A review that you deserve I have never rated anyone less than 4 stars, and this is one of those occasion. After receiving an unwelcome greeting from the gentleman who was in blue suit with a crooked cravat, we were left waited without a respond from him for a lengthy amount of time. During which, a heavy attitude was shown towards us both. We experience the same manner from the waiter the rest of the our lunch. We are very unsure whether it is our ethnicity that caused such rude behaviour from the restaurant staff or this is just a norm. The later is unlikely as I have been to this restaurant 4 years ago and those were very pleasant memories. The only reason for 2 stars but not one was the well made bread from the kitchen. I do not wish to defame anyone but i think my opinion should be heard for those who wish to have a more pleasant experience in fine dining.

Wanted some escargot 🐌 for supper and was staying in crown towers so decided to have dinner here. Had the escargot and charcuterie for entrees to share and had the Rangers valley sirloin’s and tenderloin for mains. The food came out super quickly even though it was pretty busy for a Monday night inside the restaurant. The food was excellent. The steak was cooked really good with a good char taste. With free top ups of the bread and butter 🧈 it was a memorable and enjoyable dinner. From the moment we came in to getting the food and leaving we were only there for an hour. That was how quick they were. Really efficient kitchen and couldn’t fault on the food!! 5 stars ⭐️

The steak tartare was perfect although it would have been nice to have it prepared table side. I was a tad bit disappointed to see a paper placement on the table, it doesn’t match the ambience nor the level of food being served. Other than that - everything else was perfect.

Beautiful decor. Place was understaffed. Food was good. For entrees we had Charcuterie board, Chicken liver parfait with pear chutney and grilled sourdough, Twice baked cheese soufflé. Mains we had Barramundi, Gnocchi, Beef Tenderloin, Linguine with Shark Bay Crab (a bit on the spicy side but pasta tasty was cooked aldente), with sides of cauliflower gratin, fries and broccolini. For desserts we had Profiteroles and Crème Brûlée which were delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time at Bistro Guillaume!! From the moment we arrived the service staff were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. Food was exceptional, menu choice made it very hard for us to decide what to eat as all sounded so delicious - we just knew we had to have the Onion Soup for entree and we didn't regret our choice - incredible!! Loved that the bread was served with not only butter but salt flakes as well - so yummy. All these little touches were very special. We were too full to enjoy the desserts offered but as it was my Hubby's birthday loved that he was presented with a decorated 'Happy Birthday' plate, chocs and a candle - just lovely! We will definitely be back again, thank you was the most wonderful dining experience!!!!!!!!

Visited for the desserts only and they were really good. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. I have a soft spot for French-style beef and that tomahawk for sharing sounds epic. Outdoor alfresco overlooking the pool is definitely the way to go for a relaxing tea time.

What a beautiful restaurant in the beautiful Crown Perth. Couldn't recommend Bistro Guillaume enough. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with our waiter Jace going above and beyond to make our lunch exquisite. The food was exceptional and I was so looking forward to the steak tartare which delivered, very fresh and tasty. Both the entrees and mains were delicious and the cocktails that we had were all perfect. Overlooking the pool on a beautiful sunny day in Perth, this place was 🤌

Bistro Guillaume has been our go to places for special occassions. Foods are phenomenol and so do staffs and environments. Their signature Wagyu Beef anf lambs are a must try but prepare to wait for a good 40mins to cook into perfection. Grilled Octopus from Entree is also highly recommended. Very family friendly and get ready to be pampered with all the goodness they are about to bring to you.

We chose Bistro Guillaume for my wife and my joint birthday dinner, and we found ourselves a fan of the venue after our first class experience. After reading the various recent negative reviews, I was a little apprehensive of the service & reception we would get for our first date night without our baby. However, we were quickly reassured that this would be a memorable night to remember for all the right reasons the moment we stepped in till the time we paid and left. We were made to feel welcomed and valued even though I only have the basic white Crown Rewards card status. Eric, our Maitre d’, was friendly and quick to help me validate my parking ticket the moment I presented my card and ticket when checking in. He was also very accommodating to grant our request for a beautiful private booth table with an open view of the oasis and pool. Having booked as our birthday, he promptly organised the complimentary sparkling wine & Crown chocolate gift box shortly after we were seated. They were also nice enough to replace my wife’s sparkling to a delicious mocktail after finding out she’s pregnant. Harsh was our waiter who serves us throughout the evening. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and more importantly, seems to enjoy his job. He even remembered my wife’s pregnancy while we were choosing dessert and warned us to avoid the one whipped in raw egg white (we would never have guessed that from the name choc Delish) Besides good culinary taste, another important measure of a fine dining when we are paying good $$ for is the service. And I am glad to say that Harsh excels in that area. He constantly checked in on us subtlety without being intrusive to make sure we are ok with the meal and service, and proactively offered us more bread to share. Meal wise, we had an overall enjoyable 3 course dinner. My wife loved the chicken liver parfait with grilled sourdough entree, and had the linguine crab mains which she found a tad bland. My beef tenderloin mains was delicious though would have loved a bit more jus. Our passionate soufflé was a nice touch with the birthday candle. The evening capped off nicely for us when Eric was patient and courteous with my payment with various Crown gift cards and also the discount with Entertainment App. Happy wife, Happy Life! Tips to remember: 1) Best tables with window & pool view are 51, 61, 71 2) Complimentary Birthday treats when booking as a Crown Rewards member, even with basic white status

A lovely evening, but some of the food was a bit below the standards we were expecting. For starters, the tartare was exceptional, and the soup was divine. Top marks. For mains, the duck was a little dry and chewy. Not bad enough to send it back, but far from the best I've had. My wife had the tenderloin, which was lovely, but the accompaniments were devoid of seasoning, so the dish as a whole was a bit on the bland side. For dessert, the lemon tart was beautiful, but the profiteroles were pretty average. I'm sure we will eat here again, but it's not top of the list.

Always one of our faves. Consistently great food and good, personal service. Fabulous wine selection, both by the glass and bottle. The lunch specials present great value at a price point that is rare in Perth.

Celebrated our anniversary here on Friday night. I had been a few times before and my partner hadnt. From the get-go we had a positive experience. Wonderful view over the pool, the bread was delicious, drinks were delicious (slightly pricey $17 for a rose). The parfait was delicious and I dont normally go for pate! The service was prompt and friendly with the odd bit of banter thrown in the mix.

My friend and I had a meal here while staying at the towers. We had made a reservation and were shown straight to our table which had a fabulous view. The staff were attentive and friendly. The complimentary bread was really lovely. I had the barramundi and it was cooked beautifully but I found the shaved cauliflower which came with it strange as it was raw, just not to my taste. Luckily I got a side of broccolini and that was really nice. My friend had the steak and she said it was great and they swapped out her potato for mash with no problems. We both also had dessert, I had the chocolate delice which exceeded my expectations. My friend had the profiteroles which she said were lovely. The service was quick and they always kept our water glasses topped up. Bit on the expensive side but its a beautiful restaurant and great quality food.

Our Wedding Anniversary was completely ruined because of the waiter attending to us that night. He was so rude to us, we were completely shocked. He was extremely abrupt to my husband, had his arm in front of my face twice while I was taking my cocktail glass to have a sip... He was rude everysingle time he came to attend to us. We spent $300 for this disaster!!

was staying at the crown Metropol and thought we would give this restaurant a go for a change. Big mistake! we were greeted by a woman who was very uninviting saying you need to check in on the app, which we had already done. The snails were extremely oily bordering on un edible. The seafood linguini, all that could be tasted was the chilli. Profiterole desrt with warm chocolate sauce, cold ! over priced, overrated . Will never go back

Was a little apprehensive considering some of the newest reviews but I can honestly say that the food was delicious, staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very elegant and pretty. It was a very pleasant lunch. The food. We had the festive menu which finished today. 3 course meal and added the steak tartare because I have to try every steak tartare in the menu . Steak tartare was delish but I did feel it had a tad too much egg it was almost slimy but not quite. It came with potsto net fries - these were delish but so deléitate it was hard to pickup the meat with it, you have to be gentle and place the meat on. Entree Octopus was so well cooked, soft with great flavours and the sauce wit it was to die for. Main market fish was soo lovely. Well cook with caramelisation on top and still a nice flaky moist fish Dessert creme brûlée- I cannot go past a creme brûlée and this one didn’t disappoint. It also came with 2 warm madeleines which were so good. I wanted to order some to take away.

One of many great eateries in the Burswood Casino complex, Perth. Western Australia. We attended with a family of 10 people and had a great time. Great food and service. The music was at the correct volume, so you could hear yourself speak without shouting. You’ll not be disappointed.

We went here for their Afternoon Tea Indulgence. The staff were very attentive and distancing between customer tables was good. The canapes were really very tasty and presented nicely. They had a good selection of teas that you could choose from and the option for a glass of champagne as an extra to the cost of the Afternoon Tea. I would highly recommend going here for either lunch, high tea or dinner.

The seating was extremely crowded, and every time the waiter served the table next to me, I had to get up to make way. The food was a disaster; the duck breast was very tough and not tender at all, the market fish lacked its original freshness, and it was overcooked from being baked for too long. I was quite disappointed with the dining experience. The food didn't meet the standards I would expect from a French restaurant, as their cuisine is usually known for its quality and finesse.

  • 5/5 Dan G. 9 months ago on Google
I’ve been here twice in the last month, and both times it has been fantastic. The menu has a lot of great options, so much so that it is hard to choose. Mostly French-style options. The wine and drink list is suitably extensive that there’s something for everyone and something that matches all the menu options. The atmosphere is lovely. From the entrance to the seating, the style is consistent and pleasant. Matches the fine dinning asthmatic nicely. The food was very good, and I couldn’t find a fault. Though pricey, I think it’s warranted. Many of the options show that a lot of work has been put into preparing them with high quality ingredients. Staff and service is top notch. Very attentive and warm. We felt really well looked after. I would recommend this venue for a nice intimate dinner.

I recently had a birthday dinner here with a group of nine friends. I must say it was such a great fine dining experience we all had. I'm not sure whether there's the time limit during busy days or not, but it was a Tuesday night so it was quite relaxing. We had made a reservation for 6:30pm, but because we were waiting for more friends coming after, we didn't place our orders until after 7pm. The staff was super friendly and understanding, allowing us to enjoy our evening. We ended up staying until around 9pm, and throughout the entire time, we never felt rushed. The food was slow to arrive, however, it was worth the wait. I ordered the medium-rare Steak sirloin, and it was cooked just right on the spot. I was not a big fan of grill potato however it was done nicely for the dish. The bread and butter served as a prelude to the meal was also really nice. For dessert, my friends and I decided to share a cheese board, it was pretty average just like any other places. My partner had the profiteroles, which i got to try a little bit. The serve came with 3 little profiteroles, and was beautifully presented. My friend received her complimentary birthday wish from the restaurant. It was nice , however, it was only a small cookie with chocolate writing, which felt a bit underwhelming given the overall experience. All in all, our evening at Bistro Guillaume was an enjoyable one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a refined dining experience, be it for a special occasion or an intimate gathering.

Onion Soup and escargot were excellent. Chicken nice but more sauce would have been appropriate as it became quite dry by the end. Wife and friend had same entrees but Gnocchi for mains and a charcuterie board. Gnocchi was nice. Charcuterie board was nothing special. Waitress was very nice but chap who was waiting seemed a tad aloof . Saw us when we first arrived and didn't greet us or at last say "Someone will be with you soon." After our mains were taken no one asked us if we wanted desserts so we just got up and left. Had to get attention of staff to pay our bill. Happy to return.

Meals came slowly. Quality of food was good. Service ok only. Was told the oysters were on the house as they came 20 mins after ordering and instead of a dozen we got half a dozen. The bill came and I was charged for a dozen. To offer that they clearly made a mistake but never honoured what they say .

Hi I would give 5 for the food. It was super tasty but service was not the best. Eg I asked for medium steak and I got medium rare and thats ok. I mentioned it to the tall waiter and he rudely said like a smart *** there is a very little difference . Also had to wait for top ups. Even thou food is tasty and top quality as well place looks amazing I feel like I won't be going there for a while. Special occasion is meant to be special and with a very pleasant experience and customer service needs alot of improvement. Kindness all the way :-)

Greeted by a not very friendly front desk who by the end of the visit looked reluctant to validate our free parking. Food was great except for the silroin steak that we had to send back due to it being overcooked and it returned to us still not properly medium rare.

Great food and wine bookended with an incredibly cold and unwelcoming server at the entrance. Didnt smile, didn't greet us, batley acknowledged our presence and when he did made us feel as if taking our payment was a huge inconvenience for him. My friends and I had high tea which was beautifully presented and sufficient. We were very disappointed that tea wasn’t bottomless as this is usual for most classy high teas. The service was very ordinary. The cashier was down right rude when we told him that the waitress said we could split the bill. He acted like this was so inconvenient and difficult yet each cost $50 or $65 so the math was pretty simple. He shook his head and muttered- totally disrespectful and left us feeling very angry and disappointed. He spoilt our day.

Service was good, we got a nice table with a view but food was a hit and miss. The highlight of the night were the snails cooked to perfection. On the other hand, oysters were average and my barramundi was bland and certainly needed a side to make up a full dish. The steak was a complete meal but the salad was unexciting(only green leaves with a dressing) and the potatoes were a bit dry. Profiteroles were delicious but the passionfruit souffle needed longer in the oven as looked completely white, as if it was never in the oven. Overall we were expecting the same experience we had the first time we visited last year but unfortunately we didn't.

Had fantastic evening at Bistro Guillaume Perth. Food was yum 😋 - twice baked cheese soufflé, chicken liver parfait with pear chutney, barramundi with caper and confit duck leg. Service was also excellent. They even prepared a special pasta for my 5 year old child.
