This little gem is a licensed restaurant serving a fusion of Asian flavours with a variety of creations that burst in your mouth with flavour. From sharing plates to larger meals that can still be shared, there's plenty on offer to excite your taste buds. We particularly enjoyed dishes like the soft shell crab and twice cooked pork belly. However, the real stand out were the desserts. The Vietnamese coffee parfait was a moreishly silky blend of sweet creaminess with a coffee hit, and the coconut and vanilla bean Panna Cotta refreshingly light and smooth. Service is very friendly and even the chef will come out to ask you how the meal is when he's free.

Food is absolutely amazing and the portions are quite generous. Lovely staff and quick service despite the whole restaurant being rather full. Our starters were Popcorn Chicken which was amazingly crispy and the garlic on top complimented it so well, in addition to the dumplings with were just as good. Had the Gado Gado vegetables and the sauce was quite sweet but otherwise delicious especially with the egg and potatoes in the mix. Green curry was awesome with just the right amount of spice and there was definitely no shortage of king prawns in it! The Twice Cooked Duck was excellent and the ginger and citrus sauce was so yummy. Lastly we had the Banana Fritters for dessert which were so crispy and tasty, along with the Chocolate Pudding which just melted in your mouth. Both desserts were a very good portion size and not too small or too big. Overall such a good place to eat, and we have never been and had a complaint!

It was a very tasty experience not too spicy. The result is an Asian fusion combination of different flavor that is quite mixed. We really enjoyed the salt and pepper fried squid: super tasty!

I had high expectations for this restaurant… which sadly weren’t met. We had a 1945 reservation for five people, and when we arrived on time the table wasn’t ready. We were asked to wait outside. Okay, sure. No one came to get us when our table was ready, so we wandered back in to find a table set for four. We asked for an extra chair and place setting, and our fifth diner had to sit on a stool which wasn’t ideal considering we had a reservation. It took fifteen minutes for a waiter to take our order, and we actually ended up waving them down to serve the table next to us who had been waiting even longer! Appetisers arrived sporadically over the next sixty minutes, and then as the dishes were cleared away the waiter asked if we would like dessert… we hadn’t even had our mains yet! When we said we were still waiting for our mains the service staff were shocked. Our food was brought to the table less than five minutes later (I’m quite confident they forgot us given how quickly the food then arrived). The saving grace was the food was delicious! I think I would come back here on a quieter night, maybe a weeknight because the food was excellent, but the service wasn’t up to par.

Really tasty! The Tom Yum Mussels came with a tasty thick Tom Yum sauce. Would have been even better if they were NZ mussels, but they were the standard tiny Australian mussels. Garlic naan was excellent, very garlicky and chewy but a very small portion. Rice portions were also very small for $4. The pork belly was excellent, perfectly crispy and tender with a delicious sauce. The apple salad on top was also very tasty, but watch out for the super spicy birds eye chillies! Massamun lamb shank was perfectly cooked, with a more peanutty massamun curry that other places. Mains were all around $30, but worth it as a special treat.

It's a 4.5☆ here for me. The space is small.. cosy.. but the chairs are a bit hard, and I can see the place being quite cramped with full patronage. Service was prompt, and I saw them trying their best to cater to all customers, which was nice. Food wise, the pricing is quite decent for the portion, and the flavours are there. One suggestion is the beef rendang to be slightly less thick. Our sauce was almost to the point of glugginess. It was still tasty (although a tad salty), but I feel like it would have elevated the dish. The pad thai was delicious, and I should have tried the soft shell crab salad because it looked amazing coming out to other tables. Will return to try the other dishes.

Mt Lawley is filled with so many great restaurants but this one really stands out. In the back of Beaux Lane lies Miss Potz, a small, unassuming, darkly lit Asian fusion restaurant that serves up meals so well prepared you’ll be ordering more immediately. We went without a reservation but were seated immediately. The staff does get a bit busy so the service was not as attentive in comparison but the food in itself makes up for any other mishaps. The dumplings were amazing, they sat in a sauce that was just so delicious you could drink it. The only problem being the small portion of 4 that costs $16. We additionally had the pulled pork bao buns which were the perfect ratio of bun to filling with a spicy and flavourful pork filling (serving of 2 for $15) Next was the popcorn chicken ($16?) that came out in a nice portion, accompanied by a lovely sauce that really paired nicely. Our bigger platters were the duck, slow cooked pork belly and the lamb shank (around $32 each) and the lamb shank by far was the star of the meal. It sat in a rich creamy curry that we ate with garlic naan ($9) It completely fell off the bone, was so tender and bursting with flavour. The pork belly itself was sweet and was served with a salad I assume to have lemongrass(?) in it. I’m not too sure but it was the let down of the night (although still tasteful) the duck also came with curry and was quite flavourful in its own sense however did not compare to the lamb shank. Overall the food was great. Cooked with care and attention. The ambience was nice as well and would definitely come back!!

We had the feed me package and were not disappointed. I think the chef did spoil us with the amazing selection we were given. What ever you end up with you will not be disappointed. Could not fault a single dish and all the flavours worked so well and weren't over powering of each other. Looking forward to going back again.

The food is amazing and everything is reasonably priced. Book before you go just to make sure you’ll get a table though coz it’s a cute little nook

Would have loved to give this place 5 stars however 2 of our 4 dishes were pretty average. The bao buns stuck to the paper and the meat was quite overcooked and the spring rolls were so greasy. Highly recommend the chicken wings and lamb massaman curry. Divine flavours in the curry.

Our group loved our asian inspired meal here. Food was delicious and loved the beautiful interior decor. Restaurant was small so got really loud and tables were all super close to each other. Bookings essential and well worth a visit.

I attended this restaurant on a Wednesday evening and waited 45 minutes for salt and pepper squid, 70 minutes for pork belly and 90 minutes for the gado gado (tofu and vegetables in a peanut sauce). An hour into waiting the waiter approached as to inform as there was a delay in the kitchen - wouldn’t you inform the customers before or as they order? Not an hour into waiting? The food was not worth the wait. Waiter who checked us out never said thank you as we left either (manners go along way :))

Great place food excellent cozy atmosphere. Asian beers served lovely and cold. Papaya Salad different to anything I've had!. Balinese cauliflower curry a stand out, also the banana fritter a must do. Only fault with service was soft shell crab not served on side of papaya salad, as requested as we had vegans in our party. Otherwise a lovely place for sharing and trying new dishes with a decent amount of vego/vegan options.
