We received a warm welcome by someone who I can only assume was the manager or owner and was accommodated at the bar until our allocated time. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish with amazing food, plenty of it and a wonderful display of cookery and showmanship from our chef. We enjoyed dessert and sake afterwards. When we left we were seen out by the same lovely gentleman (he also took photos for us!) Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and would highly recommend it for any special event!

It was a nice experience, the chef was performing and cook in front of you. I personally would go back only for special occasions. We picked the medium set for the price range and the food wasn't a lot. We were still hungry after that.

Really fun and interesting experience. Sit at a big table with others and watch the chef perform his craft while enjoying the fruits of their labor. Started off with a fun icebreaker by catching food out of the air with your mouth. After your meal you get to enjoy a more private dessert at a different table with just your party. Recommend upgrading to the garlic rice.

Came here on a weeknight and had a very exclusive dinner with the chef. I did find it very overpriced, but you do get a variety of dishes for the price. However the food could be better seasoned and cooked better, it just was not as good as expected. I have been to another tenpanyaki restaurant and it was magnificent, and Midori did not reach that expectations. The staff were friendly and it was worth the entertainment. Average food but great service.

Had an amazing dinner here on 17 June 2021, our 3 kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience and asked the chef questions to which Jon was happy to oblige them. He is a fantastic chef all food cooked to perfection. Our 2 year old loved all the flare and fire! Definitely a place to return to and indulge.

This was my first time at a teppanyaki restaurant, food was great. Highly recommended! Bare in mind trying to find a parking spot on a Saturday night is rather hard!

The reception was very warm and friendly. The food is ok as expected for a teppanyaki joint, although I was waiting for the crisped up prawn head but the chef didn't give it to me (don't know if it was standard for Midori only, other teppanyaki places give the prawn heads to you). The price is a bit up there but nothing special in the menu. The whole cooking felt like it was hurried to make way for other customers maybe? Overall experience was ok but will go to other teppanyaki joint which is more worth the money.

Fire!!!! And lots of it. It really is the full show! The food is amazing too. So many of these Teppanyaki places are all about the show and give you below average food, not this place. My fiancé had the Aka menu with the upgrade to garlic rice (this is just a very garlic fried rice) well worth the upgrade. I had the Shiro menu. Amazing from start to finish.

Very expensive for what it is. Cocktails 19 dollars and they're half filled and not even alcoholic. Drank over 12 of them and walked out of there sober. Would not recommend.

Awesome food and service was great. Drinks were overpriced and lacked punch for $19 cocktails. Kenny our chef, sang a few notes to my Mrs which was nice, vote for Kenny.

Taisei our chef was phenomenal! Super friendly, funny, and talented! The food was spectacular and the experience of the entertainment and interaction with the customers was amazing! The waitresses were super polite and made our celebration of a birthday feel very special. The venue it self is also comfortable and beautifully displays the culture.

Fun place for a dinner event. Serving size is small but very tasty. Chefs cook in front of you on a large hot plate. It's a Japanese restaurant however the Chefs were Korean. Nice little bar on the bottom floor. Staff super friendly.

The fried rice is good, but way too sweet for me. The guy put too much sauce. That’s twice now that this has happened… everything else is decent though.

Went for dinner tonight for a birthday. each person in my group spent way over $100+ Absolutely worst experience from a teppanyaki restaurant I've ever had, starters were over-cooked, rice was under-cooked, salad was four slices of lettuce with tasteless sauce smothering it, $24 just for a double shot of gin. Sat for 20 minutes max at the teppanyaki table before they rushed us away which is understandable sometimes but we were the last table of the night and teppanyaki is meant to be a show about the food, no love in the food or experience at all. Not normally the one to complain but definitely a rip off!

I have tried tepanyaki before, but the experience in here is quite bad. The beef is well-done and the vegetable is kind of raw. The show and performance are also quite bad and both of them are wasting food. The person who is in cashier seems like he doesn't care about my opinion.

Lovely place with excellent service. Food was great and loved the experience (midori set - also had lobster, salmon, scallop and the wagyu beef - was worth the upgrade). We went for my partner's birthday and got middle seats which was a nice touch. The chef was very skilled - knife work and tricks were amazing. It's a lovely treat for someone special and a very unique experience. Highly recommend, staff were exceptionally lovely and attentive. Thanking you all for our great night out.
