Its my birthday, coronavirus has just hit, social distancing is implemented, everyone is closing up for a lockdown period to combat this virus — but still its my birthday and i want to celebrate, i choose GYG to eat at. 10 of us enter the restaurant, we order and we sit down. The restaurant isnt big enough for all of us but we try our best to social distance. It wasn’t 1.5 metres but we were trying then a shadow in the door...A man standing there, his tie flapping in the wind. Mark McGowan. He is here to enforce COVID restrictions. Me and the boys look at each other. The fear in their eyes, i will never forget. You can run, you can hide but you can never escape Marky Mark. Good burritos tho 👍

Found a cockroach head in my burrito, haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone at the store in the past hour in order to report this problem either. I hate to complain in reviews, but problems like this need quick responses for the sake of health and safety

They advertise $3 tacos. But when you actually order a taco (vegan) they charge $5 for it. On the sign there is no mention that it’s for meat tacos only.....

You walk into a wonderful restaurant playing some spicy Mexican beats. Order a regular mild pulled pork burrito with sour cream and guacamole. First bite, oh my. Oh my goodness. I was transported back to my past life as a Mexican boy. Exquisite. Best burrito ever. If i could give a higher rating, I would.

The food was really nice, just a bit too salty. The waiter Jesus was very helpful and suggested great options that were delicious. I loved the spicy pulled beef and spicy chicken!

Went to this place for dinner w the family. My wife had A Chicken Enchiladas, my son a Chicken Nachos and I had Pork Hard Tacos. All of it tasted good. The price per bowl was about 10+ dollars

Delicious food and great coffee at very reasonable prices. The amazing decor definitely transports you to an authentic setting. Guzman y Gomez is definitely worth a visit! We've become regulars for breakfast over the last couple of months!

GYG Mount Hawthorn is really fantastic. We often pop by here for a brekkie special over the weekend, especially when we are out and about early in the morning (like after an early morning SUP session). Their Tacos are also amazing! They've got wonderful combo meals, and such good prices. The food is always fresh and delicious, the quality is fantastic, the coffee is wonderful and the staff are absolutely amazing. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Food is always good. They need to keep on top of cleaning there tables, and please offer proper cutlery, I broke 3 stupid wooden forks trying to eat there.

Delicious food but expect to get the wrong order pushed into you hands. Twice i have been given the wrong order after having driven 5kms. I took what i was given (twice) and it was the complete opposite of what myself and my friends ordered and ended up in the bin. Either there is something wrong with the app or something wrong with the workers.

My go to Mexican restaurant and definitely the top on my list. Absolutely love love love their food. Always fresh, right proportion and texture. Love the pulled beef nachos the most!

Expensive for what it is. Cheese sauce on the quest fries wasn't very nice. Rice in the burrito bowl is very salty.

They got my order wrong.. when I told them twice @alex team member @alex he seem lost called him for takeaway box he acted like he could hear me.

My wife is from Texas so we enjoy our TexMex and Mexican food. G & G does pretty decent food and so far their corn chips are the best we've found in town so far. Chicken or pork soft tacos are particularly yum... keep up the good work G & G.

I had a chicken burrito with extra chicken. The staff were young potentially new or stoned because they seemed way to happy to be working. I for one do not enjoy work. The pigeon that was stuck in the toilet with me made me a tad uneasy while I tried to go number 2as it kept staring at me, seemed friendly enough, didn't attack me so all good in my book 4 stars because the toilets could be cleaner

Mt Lawley was our only go to place for takeout . Going there for last 3 years and always order online for pickup always been fantastic . Everytime in past it’s been amazing . The last 2 times including tonight have been terrible waited 30 mins in store each time for it . Ordered cheese chips (Queso) stone cold nachos ordered with vege and lots extras paid for and had been given nachos with just corn in it . Other nachos vege ordered and got one with meat in it . Tonight’s order got home chips stone cold and nachos missing Quesa Dilla no filling . Not only had stone cold food but had to drive all the way back and pick up correct order of missing food and all I get is too bad it’s to be expected and a card for 1 free chips and guac not even what we have ordered . And you can’t use that when you order online . I always order online as you wait forever there . Paid for so much extra and get nothing and they have no care factor . Not looking for freebies just consistency and what you pay for and better management service accepting their fault and having compassion and understanding . Pulled pork salad was not fresh, not spicy and like shredded cardboard. Chicken nachos was actually disgusting so we binned it. Normally love GyG but failed this time around.

Asked for spicy, entirely bland. Not very warm. Waitress was very nice, told me she knew it was a problem and she'd raise it with the staff, again. There was a very little, not terribly spicy, red sauce over a couple of nachos. Otherwise sauce was like plain gravy.

The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional! The team were very friendly and went above and beyond all customer service expectations. The food was quick, fresh and delicious! Massive shout-out to the managers and team here!

Amazing food as always, the female server once mistook and assumed us for uber eats pickups instead of an application order pickup, without even asking what we were waiting for, So that was clearly discriminatory and racist, but the main server apologised later for presuming. Food is amazing as always, so is the location of the restaurant.

Is it a 100% authentic Mexican food? I don't really know. Are you Mexican? No me neither. I wouldn't be able to tell you what's a good taco or burrito from something in Monterrey. But you know what? This thing was tasty and filled me up for days that I wouldn't even mind if the place was owned by a Vietnamese uncle instead of two Mexican brothers. It probably haunted me in my sleep cos I wouldn't have minded going for a second round the next day.

For the second time in a row, my takeaway order was missing chicken. I paid extra to have veggies and guac with the chicken burrito bowl. It has happened while I was dining in and was able to rectify it, but when it’s later in the evening and you don’t find out until you get home - who wants to trek back? Please do better. The sticker on burrito bowl was correct.

We had 3$ tacos here. They were delicious. The place has booths and the service was with a smile. They were just the right amount of spicy and the flavor stayed with us for a bit.

Food was yummy and delicious as always called up to let them know how much we enjoyed their meal but whoever answered the phone didn't quite understand what I was talking about

We recently visited this place and I would say that this is one of the best store to have Mexican food in Perth. Aiden was very friendly and did provide a great customer service. Also, manager on duty, Natalie was also very friendly. Good work guys, we will definitely come back.

This is my families go to take-away spot. We always get the Chicken Burrito and burrito bowl and they are always abolsutely delicious. So much better than the competition. It is always so fats and the cashiers are very friendly. Never tried anything else because we love the burritos so much but definately will.

Go to Malaga G&G, the people in Mount Lawley dont care and make Nacho fries into a sloppy mess.

Really great tasting food. It’s a little expensive but I think you get quite a bit for what you pay for. They’ve got a lot of options and the meals are easily customisable for any dietary restraints you might have. Would recommend if you’ve never gone.

Rude staff who frequently feel the need to comment on the size and frequency a customers order. A customer should be allowed to order what they want without snide comments!!! Don’t get such bad attitude and lack of customer service at Northbridge. Update 25/1/21 - this store still hasn’t managed to know it’s own menu. When you order grilled vegetable with guacamole you expect the guacamole but they never do! Would they be more receptive if they missed the beef from the beef taco ??? Wouldn’t recommend this store if your vegetarian
