This is a lovely place for visitors and family. The environment surrounding the Zamia Cafe is already one of the best in Kings Park. The food here is always fresh and good. A great cafe for group gathering during the day and certainly an unforgettable park for a casual walk after the meal. I have to thank uncle Bernie deeply in my heart for bringing us here. What a beautiful and peaceful place just outside the cafe. Car parking bays are ticket free. Enjoy!

Sometimes when you're in the cbd looking for brunch the answer is close by and nothing like being in the concrete jungle! That's Zamia Cafe for you. A slice of heaven in the serenity of Kings Park. Everything here is made on the premises. Our food was gorgeous and fresh. Coffee was delicious. Cakes are to die for. But the real clincher is the surroundings. You can't beat nature for pure ambience. Sit. Slow down. Enjoy.

Zamia cafe is located in a beautiful spot within the stunning Kings Park. Over looks beautiful Parkland and native plants. Within a cafe there are lots of tables and chairs set up inside plus you have 2 outside seating areas. Both outside seating areas are located on a wooden decked patio on opposite sides of the cafe. Large range of cakes and sandwiches / rolls, plus a good selection of cakes. breakfasts until 11:30 then lunches from 11:30. Service is prompt, friendly with plenty of staff on hand. They also offer lactose-free milk for anyone that is lactose intolerant + soy and almond milk. The cafe can quiet quiet busy at times however they do offer to take bookings where you can reserve a table. Free parking close by within the King's Park area however at busy times you may need to walk just a little bit further than parking right outside the cafe. The prices are a little higher than some other cafes however you are paying the price I feel due to the locaton and the good service.

I have eaten nasi goreing and fish n chips at many places in Perth. They are one of the best if not the best. Plus this place is pet friendly. Keep it up guys.

Lunch at Zamia’s today was amazing. The food fresh and tasty. Service was prompt even though the cafe was very busy. People continuing to stream in post 2pm. Hugely popular destination. The wild flowers are now starting to bloom too. So the surrounding gardens are another big attraction at this time of year. Booking is a must with patrons humming all day

Came for the breakfast on a week day and was surprised to see the cafe was packed! Great ambience with friendly staff. Food service was quick despite the queue (this is a very popular cafe). Food and coffee was great. Ordered the Zamia Challenge and I must say the bacon tasted fantastic ;)

Currently visiting Perth and have been to this cafe twice in the last few days. Beautiful location. Efficient staff. Very busy cafe. Lots of seating. Both times we’ve opted to sit outside which is lovely. Ample parking. Good cafe for persons with disabilities as there is option of steps and ramp. Food is nice and coffee is good. Meals are a bit pricey (fish, chips and salad $29) Good variety of foods and drinks.

An enjoyable family, birthday celebrational lunch with glorious Perth spring weather. Lovely coffee, large servings for lunch and freshly baked desserts. Glad we booked in the morning for a table as they were very busy. Nice to walk around the park after a sensational lunch. Friendly staff, clean facility and reasonable prices.

Wonderful indoor/outdoor cafe at the quieter end of the park - closeby to children's play area so very popular for families. Cafe is ordering at the counter but then food is brought to your table. Great selection of foods for meals as well as coffee and cake. Good flavourful coffee

Amazing park location - breakfast was good but not amazing - a bit of a cafeteria - sit outside on a good day and it’s magic - feels miles away from the city - good with children and a great drive - hidden spot– Had the breakfast – with the salmon and the bacon on "Eggs Benedict" – the cheese sauce was poor – certainly compared to what we had later in Perth in QT which was exceptional- it's not the sauce but the bread on which the eggs were one was very very hard and could hardly be cut with a knife – I suggest you use butter or a softer crust because you go from soft eggs and soft saucee to concrete like edges on your bread underneath – a suggestion

We had our work end of year party here and I was impressed. I have been here before but this time they exceeded the previous experience I had. First, the staff were all attentive and super helpful. They genuinely interact with everyone with a happy smile. Food was superb! Salmon was perfectly cooked, vegetables to the right crunch and so clean and healthy. I enjoyed the whole time I was there. Highly recommend this place, our work organisers has agreed to be here again next year!

This is a great cafe to spend a quality time with your family and friends over a coffee, breakfast, or lunch. The staff are nice and friendly. Food usually arrives on time even though sometimes it gets so busy. For people want to grab a coffee on the go, there's a separate counter at the entrance. The cafe also has a toilet which is just right behind the cafe. The food tastes perfect and come in different varieties. Coffee are also great. If you are in that area, please make sure to pay a visit there.

Such a lovely cafe serving some homemade treats. They make all their own cakes, muffins and scones in house. Overlooking the beautiful Kings Park while the birds sing what a fantastic location. Coffee and scone deal was amazing. The scone so fresh. The coffee is delicious. They do dine in inside or outside tables. They also offer takeaway. Next time I will have a meal here as they all looked so good. Very friendly staff that were attentive and wiped tables down quickly.

Awesome to be back here. It's been a while. Great service and delightful place for lunch. We both ordered the Nourish bowl and it's the best I've eaten. Fresh ingredients and a generous serving. All of the food looked equally delicious and prepared with love. Thanks for such a memorable visit.

Having been here before I ordered the Zamia Challenge! It’s still ok but wow talk about carbonised bacon. Blackened and burnt 🔥 Service is good and food prompt. Scones and cheese cake very nice. Just a pity they can’t use real cream rather that what comes out of a can. Though all said it’s a good cafe and very popular/ be early for breakfast

What an absolute gem Zamia is. We used to come for breakfast every Sunday pre covid lockdowns and hadn’t been back. Went for lunch today and will definitely be back soon. Easy parking and something for all dietary preferences. Absolutely packed with people coming and going, which says everything about the venue. We hadn’t booked thinking it was Tuesday and likely to be quiet but luckily we got a table straight away on one of the verandahs as people left. On top of generous portions of very tasty reasonably priced fresh food, a wonderful atmosphere, surrounded by Kings Park nature, fantastic service and very quick meal turn around - Zamia is BYO with no corkage charge. Very rare in Perth nowadays. We took a Sauvignon Blanc in a Hoski bottle cooler and were pleasantly surprised when we were offered an ice bucket. That’s service! Lovely walk around the pond and garden area afterwards. See you soon!

We are regular diners at Zamia Cafe but yesterday 17th May we decided to get Takeaway for lunch and ordered 2 Egg and Bacon Toasties and they were just dripping with BBQ sauce which was not included in the the Menu. The egg was very small and the bacon was piled on top of itself instead of being spread across the bread. The Muffin was 'very doughy'. Thank goodness the coffee was good. Unfortunately we took the meal away otherwise the Toasties would have gone back. Disappointing.

A nice cafe in a beautiful setting. I came a cafe and pastry after a lovely visit to kings park and was not disappointed. The salted caramel slice went down a treat. Not sure if it was the time of day or the venue, but as a 35 year old I was easily the youngest guest by a decade, and despite the playground outside, not a screaming child/baby in sight... Bonus.

Almost every weekend we visit there. We love the Chicken Burger they offer in their lunch menu. Also, their coffees are amazing ? But the milkshakes were not that up to. Food in good quality even though they are expensive. Last week it was around 10 am when we reached there. Therefore it was not the lunch time menu time. Anyway we asked them if they can make the chicken burgers for us. They quickly responded with a Yes which was so good of the staff. Staff is very helpful and very active. The location is good. But very busy cafe. There is a variety of dishes that you can choose in the menu. Even the muffins are really good. Hopefully we will continue being regulars ❤️

I asked the very busy Gentleman if they had any tables he immediately searched around found us a great table outside and advised us it was available for over an hour and hoped it was ok. Very helpful very polite and came back and cleaned table to. The food and coffee was perfect and served quickly even though very busy. The other staff were all very polite and helpful. Thanks for making my girlfriends birthday breakfast perfect.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. The view is stunning no matter where you sit, I chose outside and enjoyed the company of a Willy Wag Tail and Kookaburra. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Even one on lunch break would say cya to customers departing. I would recommend and look forward to returning soon. My only recommendation for room for improvement is that the tropical juice was more pureed watermelon. Not so much any other flavour.

Fantastic location with enough parking nearby. The coffee and the breakfast was quite good. Be sure to book ahead, especially on weekends as it gets quite busy. We went to Zamia to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were able to make a booking which for lunch seems advisable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food all made on site including cakes was high standard. The setting in the botanical park brilliant and looks out over a small lake. Avoid this venue and it is your loss.

I visited Zamia Cafe on my last day in Perth today, visiting fron Adelaide, and a staff member noticed i was a photographer as i was charging my phone and looking through my photos whilst waiting for my delicious Beef Focaccia to arrive at my table. I didn't end up catching her name, however both her presence and her character were all too welcoming as we had a nice few chats about our common interests in Photography, all whilst she was serving other tables in the meantime. I found out that we were both from Adelaide, and i showed her a few photos i had taken around Kings Park Botanic Garden earlier that morning, and we had a short but great conversation about the floral aspects around the park. I went into the Cafe as a half way pit-stop for a 12km walk around the park, thinking i would just sit in silence as i am on a Solo holiday due to my partner not being able to make it, so it was very nice to have a waitress strike up that conversation, as it really lifted my mood and was a great experience in the Cafe being approached for a wonderful conversation. Food was delicious, great location for the Cafe, and great staff too, especially the one that approached me for the lovely chat. (:

What an outstanding spot for a cafe. You have a choice of inside/outside and take away. The cafe is located right in front of a kids play area so older kids are good to play while you watch them from a distance. There is a pond in the centre so small children need to be accompanied. We bought takeaways and sat under a tree. There’s a big choice of cakes and gluten-free options. It was busy while we were there and it was a little wait for a coffee. No worse than anywhere else tho with staff shortages. Definitely worth a visit

Zamia is a well run cafe in the beautiful setting of Kings Park. It is clear that cafe owner Peter has a great respect for his team of friendly and very helpful staff. Food is always fresh and there is an excellent menu selection from which to choose. Coffee is excellent. Staff are exceptionally helpful and obliging. I can thoroughly recommend Zamia as a wonderful venue for coffee and scones or for a delicious lunch. ,
