Fantastic hotel & staff. Highly recommended. We had an extended stay at the Pan Pacific hotel in Perth & enjoyed everything about it. The manager is hands on & extremely good in his position. He is friendly, professional & has a very keen eye on all aspects of his hotel. He has obviously trained his staff well, as all are very proficient & are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the guests are happy. It is lovely to see smiling and friendly faces from reception, housekeeping, catering venues to the Manager! The food is the hotel is excellent …we especially enjoyed the food and wine in the Uma restaurant . My husband said that his steak was definitely the best he had eaten for many years! The location is great so close to all amenities & the free bus stops! My husband & I highly recommend this hotel & look forward to returning🙏🏻

Lovely property. Stayed in the one bedroom club suite for three nights. I was initially worried about noise from the ongoing renovations, but this was barely noticeable during my stay (Sep 2023). Service and facilities were fantastic, especially the Pacific Club lounge. Only gripe I have would be with the breakfast. It's too monotonous with no variation in the menu throughout my entire stay. The scrambled eggs were really good though.

We have stayed at the Pan Pacific many times over the years & this stay will probably be our last! We always book a room with Club Lounge access. Although our room was excellent, other aspects of our stay left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was our main disappointment, three days of the same food, no barista coffee (previously always included complimentary) & not much other than bacon & eggs, tinned baked beans, potato gems, no salads! Definitely not 5 star worthy

The hotel is well located, easily accessible by car. The staff is professional and friendly . The room we got is a bit old fashioned for a Pan Pacific and not very well soundproof. We hear easily the conversation from the room beside us. The bed is comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom is very well spacious as well featuring a bathtub and a shower. Amenities are provided, little fridge in the room. We struggle to find a plug at height level. Most of them were placed at the floor level which makes us very hard / impossible to use our plug adapter as we were coming from overseas. Location from city center is 4 minutes car / 15 minutes walk A convenience store is located closely

Had a terrible experience booking this hotel for my family members. My family was initially denied entry after a long international flight saying the reservation had been cancelled (they had another reservation). Staff were very poor at communicating with each other and our hotel room requests were not bed (we asked for 2 beds, only 1 was present on arrival). On top of all of this we were charged twice for the hotel stay - again as a result of poor communication between staff members. I will not be booking this hotel ever again and won’t be recommending it to anyone I know.

Will not be recommending Pan Pacific to any of my friends or family visiting Perth - it’s been an overall disappointing experience. 1. We stayed in one of the more premier rooms and were met with a faulty shower system that could not deliver hot water for more than 5minutes - obviously this makes it impossible for a comfortable shower. I shared this with the reception twice, who assured me they sent the engineering team also twice to check and insisted that it was fixed. I was saddened as I felt they did not trust my word as a guest. Furthermore, the reception desk attendant was indifferent to my concerns and even asked me “So what do you want me to do?” This is pretty rude and disappointing for any guest to hear, especially on their very first night with the hotel. She was insisting i was already in a very good room and did little to make my experience more pleasant. 2. The gentleman wearing the “Valet” polo shirt was much more helpful, showing me to a better room and offering to upgrade me to a room that had a proper functioning shower system. 3. For a 5 star hotel , even with the better room, it is still not worth the price tag to me. The water pressure on the shower is so weak, and the overall decor and interior feels outdated and in need of a refresh. 4. The in-room dining was nice and well made and presented. 5. Compared to other 5star brand name hotels, Pan Pacific does not really go the extra mile to make their guests stay that much more pleasant. I thought that upgrading me to a club room will entail club benefits but i was embarrassingly turned away at the club lounge by the front desk attendant who affirmed that “my room upgrade does not entail me to the same benefits as other club guests”. Point made well and clear. Please do learn to speak to your guests in a polite and less condescending manner - this experience to me speaks volumes of how im treated as a guest.

My interview went well. It is very culturally and ethically distinct and based on multicultural ideals and human rights. I look forward to working in the iconic and revered Pan ( which means all ) Pacific ( region ) if all goes well, on getting the job in hospitality. It was very interesting. 5 stars 🌟.

From the minute we arrived the concierge team and check-in team were so welcoming and professional. What a fabulous first impression they make! This hotel has the best team of staff we have ever encountered and for this reason alone we will continue to stay here. The genuine friendliness continued right through our stay until checkout with Mina and Jack, both of whom went out of their way to help. Thanks Pan Pacific!

Check in was friendly and informative, we stayed in a King Club Suite which was extremely spacious and luxurious. Access to the Club Lounge included and so much to offer. Mina was so lovely and very attentive. I will definitely book here again in the same room type. Thanks for the relaxing stay.

After checking in and out of Crown within the space of an hour (awful service), we had nowhere to go for our weekend. After finding a last-minute room available at Pan Pacific, our weekend was saved! Delicious buffet breakfast, comfortable bed, nice pool area (albeit small). But the best part of our stay was the attentive and caring staff all round, thanks so much Pan Pacific Team - we'll be back!

The receptionist was friendly and nice to give us a room with river view. Location was convenient with many eateries nearby. Unfortunately, the room was quite disappointing for a renowned hotel. It looked rather dated and the pillows were too soft for a comfortable sleep. Toilet was spacious and had ample counter space to place my toiletries. Toiletries provided were by a renowned French luxury fashion brand, Balmain. Hairdryer was also provided. Not a fan of the bath area as the swinging glass partition had a gap, which water would splash out when showering. The toilet bowl seat also looked old and had stains. The AC makes ticking sounds which can be quite annoying throughout the night.

The concierge was super helpful and friendly, and in room dining was tasty too. Quiet location and lovely view. However, the cleaning and housekeeping is not consistent each day, stayed there for 4 nights, from the second night, there’s no bath mat offered, and the bed was poorly made. The shower was leaking all the time and the bathroom floor was never cleaned during the stay. Would never come back, don’t think this should be a 5 star hotel standard

High tea at the Pan Pacific was outstanding! The service was impeccable - our teacups and champagne glasses were filled before we even realised they were empty! Haven't seen service like this anywhere else. Would definitely recommend.

It was okay. But wouldn't stay there again. Booked a room with a "panoramic views of the Swan River" Our direct view was of the novotel hotel across the road. Side view was the river. Everything but "panoramic" Room it self was okay. Nothing spectacular. Same as the bed. Pillows where great though! Our room was one of those room that can be connected to a room next door. And you can hear everything. I could hear their phone conversations, their midnight laughter and their 6am phone alarm. Would I recommend it: No. Would I book again: not for that price!

The place is nice, not too expensive. The rooms have decent size clean and very comfy beds. The staff at reception are always super friendly and nice. Have been there twice and would definitely go there again into the future.

The rooms were very nice for the price. However don’t be fooled by the view and the room you think you’re going to get. The pictures advertised for the room myself and my partner booked were completely different to the room we actually got. The room was a lot smaller and we had the view of just another office building and that was it. When we made the reception aware of this as this was false advertising, they didn’t really care. Great location!

Maybe they have nicer rooms but ours was more like a cheap motel. Bathroom old and mouldy. Worn towels. If we were staying at a motel, no complaints but for a five star hotel that was $600 for one night it was a total shock. The pool was disgusting and slimy. The staff were lovely.

Club rooms are clean and relatively spacious. The club lounge food and beverages are excellent and the staff too. Hotel as a whole is bit old needs renovation in older rooms and mainly the fitness center and swimming pool areas and changing rooms. Breakfast every day exact same food. This must be changed. Means slightly different option each day. Especially for long stay guests.

I booked this hotel as a fun ‘staycation’ idea to celebrate with my partner after passing exams. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The room smelt very strongly of cleaning products when we entered, and was obviously not clean. There was hairs on the floor, the glassware had food in it, surfaces were sticky. I had specially requested a room with a bath tub and unfortunately I didn’t believe it was clean enough and didn’t want to have a bath in it. Everything was visibly old and in disrepair, for example, the lamp and clock had wires coming out of its plug. I was very disappointed. The staff at breakfast were nice but there was not enough staff, and as we had to ask for extra alternative milks such a soy milk we had to stand waiting for a long time to find a staff member just to get some milk for coffee. The most disappointing part of all was I booked the room to have a fun night away from home, but ironically I would have got a much better sleep at home. We weren’t informed that our room was one that conjoined to another through a door and the family in the room next to us had children who stayed up all night screaming, and kicking the doors and walls. In the morning around 9 am there was obviously some construction going on in the room next to us as all we heard was drilling hammering and banging and crashing. I wouldn’t have minded if it was after the 11 am check out time, but why schedule construction noise before check out? when people have paid for a room. All we heard was noises from all around us, including every single time someone in another room had a shower or used the taps. It was so loud. I did not sleep well at all and found myself regretting paying for a room I was not comfortable in. Unfortunately I will not be coming back as I know that there are other hotels around with better quality for a comparable price.

Great location & comfy bed but The room was not clean. There is sludge left in the bathtub. The toilet hasn’t been cleaned. Dust everywhere, seriously everywhere!! Windows filthy. I never complain when I stay in any hotels before but this time I need to! They apologize and promised will cleaning the room straight away while we are out but after 6 hours found out our room hasn't been cleaned still the same as when we left! So disappointed and will never recommend this hotel to anyone else! Hopefully, you can fix your service and facilities as this is not good for your members and customers!

Am half way through my quarrentine having come from Sydney . The service is 5 star. Rooms clean , food - had the best meal tonite and room service A1 especially to the nice gentlemen that took my order at a very busy time. Will definitely bring family and friends here.

Perfect location if you prefer a quiet, yet highly accessible spot for your hotel stay right in the middle of Adelaide Terrace in Perth City. There’s a quaint cafe downstairs, that serves really good coffee, biscotti and other tidbits. The surroundings are not too heavy with human traffic, yet convenient and safe. Plenty of amenities nearby, including cafés, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, laundromat, some office buildings, and other hotels. Pan Pacific is also just minutes away from the Swan River - if you’re lucky, you’re able to get a room with a view overlooking the river. The interior can be described as mid-to-high-end luxury range, depending on the room and cost. There’s a bathtub-cum-shower stall in the bathroom, as per the standard in most Aussie hotels / bathrooms.

Rooms were old, attached toilet even older especially the shower area, it's like it's from 3 centuries ago. at least the bed and pillow were decent enough. The rooms and the facade don't even gel up. Corridor and reception look refreshed.

Not recommended. Before coming to hotel, called to check breakfast price, they said its 25aud for hotel guest. Upon check in, they said that it must be booked until midnight of the day of the check-in and you can choose on the days you’re having your breakfast. Went back and to organise for breakfast, the said its 45aud(even if you are a hotel guest) and it must be continuous for the duration of stay. I have explained to them that we’re planning to do an early check out on the final day as flight is early, they said it still has to be paid. You can only book the breakfast through reception and not through phone call from the room. They have in their website of a free daily news paper however they said its not available. Lobby area is basic, room feels like a 3 star hotel. Deposit of 100aud/night, they said refund will happen in 10 business days even if I deposited with my debit card and they could not provide any documentation of the deposit. You have to call and follow-up about the return of deposit but they’ll just tell you to send an email.

I was lucky enough to stay here for my 2 week quarantine. I had a beautiful view from my room. The food options were all very good with a wide variety to choose from. The room service menu was affordable and all hotel staff were very pleasant to deal with. I will be returning to stay here next time I am in downtown Perth.

The stay was overall positive. My main complaint is the fact that the room windows can not be open so you will need to rely on the air con. I didnt sleep for two nights as it was either too hot in the room or the air was so dry from the air con that I could not breathe properly. Both mornings I had some nose bleeding from the dry air. There sure would be an easy and inexpensive solution like arm opening on the windows. Swimming pool is a lot smaller than it looks on the photos. Costumer service and location was great.

The location was great, close to everything in the city centre. We stayed on level 10 - the level and the room had a mould-like smell. The level and the room are outdated and felt more like a motel. The room was not cleaned properly. Hairs on the bathroom floor and food scraps under the bedside table. It was definitely not worth the price tag.

Great location and prices. Rooms are good and just what we need. The Hill Street bar is great and they bring drinks to the pool area for you. Mitch the BarMan was very helpful, and his service was above and beyond. A big thank you to Mitch at Hill St for being so friendly and professional. 5 stars

Misleading and deceptive conduct from hotel reception when asked if I still could get the $40 deal for the breakfast. After reception told me that I only had to pay $40 I got charged $82 on check out. Not the dollar value but the feeling of getting ripped off very disappointed

The Pan Pacific was fantastic. I can not fault any part of our stay other than we did not stay long enough. We were rushed at the time of booking our room so did not book what we needed, however Mina at reception was amazing and was able to determine exactly what we were after and got us into the perfect room with views of the river. The room itself was spacious and well appointed, extremely quiet and exceptionally clean. The upgrade to the club lounge was also a great choice. The breakfast at Monty’s provides a wide variety of options, certainly more variety than at previous 5-star hotels I have stayed at, and chef-prepared omelets were a nice touch. The staff at the Pan Pacific provided excellent service and took great care of us. I understand the hotel is undergoing renovations and I look forward to staying at the newly refurbished Pan Pacific on our next holiday to Perth.

Very much enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Our only gripe would be that the pancakes need some work, they were very sad a far stretch from the photo and had a rubbery texture. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Great looking hotel but the service and experience there was far from 5 stars. Buffet breakfast is $40 but there wernt even eggs available. Lifts didn't always work so it made up and down the stairs quite exhausting. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

My friend and I came here for the high tea and we had the best afternoon out together. I highly recommend it for a girls day out. I’m a vegetarian so I let them know at the time of booking and the staff were more than happy to accommodate, the options they gave were delicious. It was the perfect combo of sweet and savoury. I also don’t drink alcohol but the teas were divine! We’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Perth. The room was large, clean with lovely fine details throughout including a nice soaking bath in the Executive King room. Service was impeccable by everyone from the valet to the front desk. We felt like we were greeted with smiles at all angles. Added bonus that we were only a 10 minute walk to the CBD shopping centres. We will definitely be returning!

We just had our wedding reception at Pan Pacific and could not recommend them enough. We had the best night and we can’t thank the team who helped us out as much as they did. From the get go, everyone was so lovely and easy to deal with. Above all else, the staff left a lasting impression. Every single person from our event coordinator to the reception, valet and concierge staff were so lovely and courteous from the get go. We cannot thank the hotel or the staff enough for how smoothly everything went. If there were any issues, it was dealt with amongst themselves and my partner and I were able to enjoy our night absolutely stress free. Thank you Pan Pacific and thank you to every single staff member who we came across. We will forever be grateful!

The location, amenities, and decor of a hotel can all be great. However, at the end of the day what truly matters is the way guests are treated. “I can admit that the property is great - location, much of the upkeep, design, and amenities. I wouldn’t however consider it a high-class hotel 5 Star. What doesn't work for me is rudeness. With more attitude, when contacting service one in regards to toilet leaking fecal matter due to poorly maintained and out of date bathrooms. I’m currently conducting 14 days hotel quarantine and after my experience with the Pan-Pacific, I could never recommend anyone stay at anyone of their facilities ''Extremely Disappointed''.

Lovely views of the river from 23rd floor. Clean rooms. Bathrooms still old fashioned with shower in bath tub but otherwise clean. No extractors in bathrooms which isn't ideal. Complimentary water in room. Decent food especially breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very professional. Highly recommend

Love the room. It’s spacious and clean. Love how generous is the hotel in providing so much coffee. Don’t have to call for extra coffee. The hotel is within Free city shuttle zone. Easy access to city center.

Here for quarantine. Room was lovely, big, and comfortable. Staff was very courteous, and you could tell they were doing absolutely everything possible to keep guests and staff safe. The in room dining was fantastic with a nod to Tammy for always being especially pleasant on the phone. The Big West Breakfast was my regular - it was massive and fed me for the whole day! Thanks to the Pan Pacific crew for making my stay the best possible given the circumstances!

We recently stayed here in September. The customer service was exceptional and the location was just on the outskirts of the city. Still walking distance to Elizabeth Quay and the shops if you wanted to. The foyer and downstairs was very nice and glamorous. The rooms were a little on the older side and not as modern. There also was no free hotel parking which was a real downside, especially as parking building next door, was quite expensive.

  • 4/5 Charlie T. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel close to the centre. Also walkable distance from the Optus stadium is your visiting for a sports event as i was. Very impressed that when I told them about a housekeeping/security mistake with my room they made sure to check the CCTV and have compensatory drink vouchers even though there was no harm done. Definitely recommended.

Even if I'm not a supporter of the mandatory qurantine, the Pan Pacific did everything they could to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Nice stuff, perfect service and amazing food. We had a big family room for the three of us. The hotel is very baby friendly and supported us every day. (One of the best burgers in town!)

booked in a room and were told we had a room locked in. We were guaranteed a sweet room on a upper level which we paid for to turn up and be told that the room we looked at ordered and paid for wasn’t available! Instead we were given a completely different room which we weren’t happy with. We are Very dissatisfied and very disappointed!! won’t be staying here again. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. 😡

the service here is fantastic. we stayed in one of the suites and it exceeded our expectations. the bed and pillows are super comfy and it was so nice to have a relaxing bath. the pool area is really nice and there's also a cafe and food truck down the bottom. some of the restaurants weren't open while we we were there mid-week. there's a bus stop super close by which makes it easy to get to and from the airport. would definitely stay again.

Great views BUT. The room was not clean. There is sludge left in the bath tub. The toilet hasn’t been cleaned. Dust everywhere. Windows filthy. Then they charged us $5 for a bucket of ice. NEVER EVER in all the motels I have stayed in , in 38 years of staying in motels over the world have I EVER been charged for a bucket of ice. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND RIDICULOUS!!! 🤬🤬🤬

The most lovely staff! Such kind and warm welcomes and interactions. And ten acre block is a must even if you’re not plant based. The rooms are gorgeous (if you can get one with a spa bath I highly recommend it!). We added breakfast to our room and it was just perfect.

Incredibly good value for a city hotel. Had a room that included 'club access'! It's so worth the small extra charge. Free tea, coffee and biscuits all day and a really good but basic dinner buffet. Very smart, clean and tidy hotel. Great pool and gym. A superb city break. Enjoyed a great tribute Beatles concert nearby too! And what a wealthy city Perth is, even the street light repair men drive Porsche's! )))
