Nice breakfast place with good food. Good vegetarian and gluten free options. Some people in my group complained that their food was cold, but still enjoyed what they ordered. It's a nice place, but may be worth noting that there is a step at the entrance and another to enter the main dining area. It's a tight squeeze to move around in some parts, it can also be a bit crowded and loud when it gets busy, but very open and doesn't feel claustrophobic or overwhelming.

Lovely ambience and beautiful presentation. The bircher muesli was delicious and the customer service is always friendly. It is also very affordable in comparison to other places. I keep going here now so have added more dishes - honestly the best brunches around!

One of the highest reputation scores doesn’t lie! This hidden gem’s got wonderful staff, coffee, food, and vibe. Delightful in every way but you might have to park a little far away. The cauliflower and cumin fritter was surprisingly tasty. Plus, as a carrot cake lover, who was never satisfied with any made in Perth, I guarantee that they serve the best carrot cake🥕👍 Enjoy!

Food definitely not up to scratch compared to other cafes and the reputation this place has. Luke warm coffee Potato rosti that tasted like deep fryer fat. Over cooked bacon. Under seasoned, bland dishes. There many other cafes throughout Perth that serve food of a much higher standard. After reading other reviews of this place we were really disappointed overall.

We found this place on Insta & glad we did. It was great & the food was yummy plus the coffee was amazing. The staff are lovely & friendly. It gets busy, best to book or it’s not even a long wait. Highly recommend

One of the best breakfast places, not far from Perth CBD. Great coffee, tasty and fresh food. Nice neighbourhood as well.

A great place for a breakfast the pancakes were very tastey as was the smear on the side. The poke bowl was great with soy cured salmon however it was allot of food, if you're not big eaters I'd say the poke bowl can be easily shared. I enjoyed the mint and watermelon juice as well.

I love these local cafes that sit comfortably in our neighbourhoods. Making the most of the property with seating throughout the many rooms inside and plenty of outside shaded seating. Very popular spot with a menu that has a bit of everything. Order and pay at the counter then enjoy the lovely old home with many original features still intact. We enjoyed the Big Breakfast which was very generous and delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the Bubble & Squeak Rosti was a nice change from the standard hash brown. Coffee was very nice. There is some street parking out front but we found parking around the corner fronting the school. The staff were lovely and friendly. Really enjoyed our visit.

I’m literally so obsessed. 👁️👅👁️ Waiting time is a bit long, but definitely worth it. Kale and corn hotcake is so yum👌🏼. Also their coffee is solid 10 out of 10.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat with some friends and The Little Banksia delivered! 👌 I got the Kale and Corn Hotcakes and they were delicious. My friends got the Buttermilk Pancakes and the Poke Bowl, which was the most colourful poke bowl we have ever seen. There’s something for everyone on this menu. They also have beautiful outdoor seating 🌞 I'm already looking forward to going back again.

The little banksia was so good. Service was fast and friendly. The food was presented very well and tasted amazing. Generous portions. The cabinet food and muffins also looked amazing. Nice vibe and quiet street. 10/10 would go again ☺️

Located in a community area so is very peaceful and quiet. A few tables inside but plenty outside to watch the birds, walkers and general community activities. Service was super friendly, attentive and informative. Food is outstanding! I took the panna cotta breakfast which was just amazing, the panna cotta was beautifully fragrant and came with a passion fruit coulis, possibly a little honey there too? as it was sweet yet sharp to the taste... Coffee was superb too. There are cakes to order if coffee and cake is your thing. Another gem I've found here in South Perth and definitely a place I would recommend and would definitely return If I was staying in Perth longer!!...

A little cafe nestled in a quiet suburb of Kensington which is known by the locals and nearby suburbs which serves one of the best pancakes chosen by those who had tried it here. Indeed it is one of the best I have tried, good portions and moist pancakes served with fresh fruits to balance up its sweet caramel sauce. There are also other healthy meals for those who opt for healthy ones. Freshly ready made meals available to go or just pick one from the menu and take a sit enjoying the quiet street eating your meal and drink. Have to say they do make good coffee as well. Very friendly service and fast service as well, that's what we all want right? So stop by if you are around this area.

We went here yesterday, we ordered the butter pancakes. I’m impressed with the peanut brittle it adds texture and compliments with the butter pancakes. And i love the Chia Oats, it has a lot of fruit and nuts on it. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. ⭐️

Lovely cafe. Definitely should book if you want to avoid a wait, but it's well worth it. Food was delightful, service was friendly and extremely prompt (surprising given how busy they were). Highly recommend the pancakes or Scram!

I enjoyed this cafe; there's a selection of seating both indoors and outdoors. It's a nice place to relax for brunch. The service was friendly and food and drinks didn't take too long. The chai tea was enjoyable as it was made with actual tea leaves. The cauliflower and cumin fritters were tasty and of a good portion size. It was an enjoyable experience.

Went there Saturday Morning, it was a bit busy but could get a chance to get a table shortly. Staff were nice and the food especially Super Salad was so delicious and flavorsome. Parking area was just at front of the shop. Overall, it was a pleasant brunch experience and willing to visit there again for sure 😀

Oh my god. 5 stars, if I could give 10 I would. Hidden gem! Absolutely amazing food! So flavourful, big portions and reasonably priced. The burrito is a must try. Staff were super friendly and wasn't busy at all. The pot of chai was really nice and didn't taste like milk (as most chai do), it had plenty of spices in there. Too good to be true. Get your bums down here for a super delish meal asap.

It can be a little hard to get a table here as they seem to be always busy. Street parking available nearby. We love their menu, food and service was wonderful. Sweet potato chips were so yum! Coffee was just standard. Love the atmosphere of the cafe, great place for a catch up and brunch.

A small neighbourhood cafe that punches above its weight. I came here with the missus and my sister's family for a memorable brunch. The school is next door and the place gets busy with parents who just dropped the kids off, and anybody else in the community that knows how good the place is.

  • 5/5 Pilar M. 3 years ago on Google
Amazing cozy cafe, the interior design has the perfect atmosphere for whatever your needs are, from an informal meeting, to a friends catch up or looking for some inspiration. Food is very well presented and the combination of flavours is great. Love their savory muffins, the best in town so far. We ordered the kale and corn fritters and the pancakes.

This unique coffee shop is a hidden gem of Perth and well worth the visit. I got the porridge and was easily goldilocks standard with fresh mangoes, it was perfect. It is very popular so expect to a small waiting time but you can get a coffee or smoothie while waiting which is 100% worth it. Others got big breakfast which was pretty big and chorizo and eggs that were a tad bit spicy but should be expected. 5 stars for me and look forward to going back there again.

Some very imaginative breakfast dishes on the menu - kale corn halumi cheese salmon poached egg was very good, same as the coffee. Returned try other dishes all excellent. Good you can also book in advance.

The service was really good considering how busy it was, awesome easy location! Only issue is parking but you can park a street away and take a short walk. The food was delicious and the coffee was just right! I've put a before and after for the sauce as I thought that was pretty cool. Plenty of seating inside and out with a reasonably quiet street.

  • 5/5 Kirsten D. 8 months ago on Google
A cosy, hidden gem - The Little Banksia is one of Perth’s most underrated cafes. Coffees are top notch. The food is always matched to season, delicious and well-portioned. The staff are attentive and welcoming. This beautiful spot in the leafy suburb of Kensington has become my go-to, and so far has not let me down! The only issue is finding parking on busier days, but it is truly worth it.

  • 5/5 Heena N. 7 months ago on Google
Food gorgeous! Hat's off to the creativity with the dishes - amazing! This has been my second time, the first was a little quiter and not so busy. However this isn't a deterrent, the service and management of customer rotation with tables was efficient and commendable. Quality was consistent in both busy and quite times, food & service. Coffee was lovely too! See you next time!

My husband and I visited on a weekday for lunch. I had the corn and kale hotcakes which were delicious. My husband's pancakes were wonderful, so many lovely flavours without being too sweet. The place was quite busy but we didn't wait too long for our food. They are dog friendly with a staff member bringing a bowl of water over for our dog. Definitely recommend!

Great service with even greater food despite peak hours. I was encouraged with much friendliness by the cashier to get a table to be more comfortable eventhough I was alone (with a snaking queue behind me and volunteered just to be seated by the bar). Extremely generous portion of scrumptios and fragrant buttermilk fried chicken burger, the coleslow mixed in the burger is an unexpected star of the burger component! All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Order came swiftly too despite it quite a full house at time of visit. Bath room is clean, well equipped and huge! Highly recommended!

😠 Their service and food are totally terrible. We ordered one soup noodle, that taste like those instant noodles you can buy it from woolies.
