Elizabeth Quay is worth dropping by for pictures. The First Contact (penguin) & carousel are nearby too. Very relaxed place!

When we went to Elizabeth Quay Perth Waterfront on March 11, 2018, I took a picture next to the Spanda, a dramatic entry statement transforming the cityscape and defining the face of Perth. Located at The Landing on the northern end of Elizaberh Quay, this 29 meters high art structure is now the world's largest freestanding structure made from steel and carbon fibre, and yet no building or vantage point is obscured. This artwork is a series of six white nested arches of the same shape but different sizes representing the ripples of the water. The gaps between each arch still allow people to walk through and see the city in every angle. This iconic photography location will move you beyond yourself into awe and wonder if you attune to the spatial vibration of the form. Truly a magnificent view.

Located in Elizabeth Quay, this piece of art is hard to miss. It is a series of concentric ovals that look out into the Quay. Nice place for photos since it looks out over the Elizabeth Quay Bridge.

Nice spot to take a few good shots. There is a Mary go round (carousel) for the kids and a sort of carnival games were happening (I'm not sure if it's due to the holidays or if it's permanent).

spanda is a great place...people of here are very polite and respectful....they treat their fellow beings in a great manner....
