Never thought I would feel a spiritual connection with Jay Chou this deep. Wait was quite long but my moments in front of his house made all the time worth it. In fact Jay Chou decided to take some time out of his busy schedule, releasing banger after banger for the last 20 years, just to meet me! I am truly humbled by my experience here and cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Beautiful place to take photo and one of the must visit place to take photo. Instagram-able photo. Came one morning during my visit, it was a clear blue sky and took photo, it was a good one and I printed out the photo for my wall decoration.

Very unique house! Attracted many tourist including myself xD It's beautiful! Pictures taken there were all looking great! Definitely worth the trip to drop by for a picture! Where to parking? We parked at a free carpark which is about 7mins walk to Blue Boat House. I don't recommend parking along the road outside the apartments opposite Blue Boat House. It should be illegal & may cause inconveniences to the residents.

Nice view. If you are driving, make sure to park the car at the jogging area around 1KM before you reach the house. If you are coming by bus, a bus stop is located right at the entrance. A few people queuing to take photos but normally will take around 3-5 minutes only. No need to cut the queue. Just be patient and enjoy the scenery. Near to Kings Park.

Instagram-worthy destination. Picturesque. Just a blue house on blue waters under blue skies. Wear blue coloured clothes to match the theme. πŸ˜‚ Not much else to do other than to enjoy the scenery.

Great place for couples who want to have memorable pictures taken at this famous location for wedding pictures or just for married couples to have long lasting memories of their relationships. The only thing is that there are no proper parking spots next to the location except the residential street opposite where parking is available but crossing the street to the location could be risky as well!

It's located just off the main road, so there's no parking, you need to drive along the river to the park and you'll get parking there and then you have to walk back to see it. There's nothinguch to do at the spot except for taking pictures. Not such a great attraction but if you have time then it's a good walk along the river.

It's very boring here, no cafe, no hot dogs, just a bunch of people taking pictures of the house haha, that’s was so funny. Because this location is vary famous, had to come and take a photo for instagram. There is a bus station next to here. Have to park very far away.

Wow nice little area. No parking at the boathouse but parking around the area and walking to the boathouse is great. Beautiful water and lots of fish to see in the water. Highly recommend walking around.

You are here for the Instagram shot. Very photogenic building and there is bound to be at least a small queue to wait your turn to snap a shot. If the queue is long just take your pic from the side and be done with it and walk across the road to visit the more interesting King's Park and Botanical Gardens.

Great little spot to snap some tourist-y shots! If you’re driving, you can park at Mounts Bay Rd Parking 2 and take a short walk along the bay.

Surprised that there's a queue to take photos here. There's really nothing else to see apart from the river which can be seen from other places but this little blue house appears to have attracted lots of attention even for my overseas visitors. πŸ€” Yes, we all had profile photos taken but felt the pressure to rush because of the queue. πŸ˜… It was also nice to take photos on the wooden bench beside it which i believe is a less well-known spot as we were the only ones interested in doing so. πŸ˜‚

Iconic place of Perth. Near the city, however far from parking spots. You could park near Uni, which is around 10mins walk. Would definitely comeback to see sunset / sunrise. Also, able to spot some small fishes.

Have to park far from the blue boat. But nevermind, in nice whether you can have a good scenery during your walk. Select the best time where there is not many people. Spot swans on the lake!

A great little spot to stop at and take a picture. A nice walk along the riverside from the city. A spot to take some cool little pics for insta and fun. Recommend a little cover to the Blue Boat House

Beautiful! Was told to come at sunset for the best view, but the sun never seems to set that day! Nevertheless, it was beautiful! So beautiful that its now the background for all of our FB! :p We were oh so lucky to also spot a dolphin swimming nearby! And 2 ducks diving in and out nearby for fishes. Definitely a must visit in Perth! There is no parking for this place so we had to u-turn and park at the residential area opposite. Didn't stay long in order not to inconvenient the residents too much.

Picturesque and prominent in a "sea of calm", in contrast to the rushing traffic on Sterling Highway. A favourite photo op for locals & tourists

A good spot to take some nice pictures & selfies. Basically its just a bridge and a boat house but its the splendid view that attracts many people here. Worth visiting here.

It’s one of symbolic location in Perth ! The fancy house with blue color. You can walk from Elizabeth Quay about 3 km. Or you can take 950 bus, another option is drive a car, you can park at the parking lot closed to the blue boat house.

A piece of Perth history that's free to view. The boat house is well maintained and free to view. You have to park on the side streets and cross the road to reach it. There's usually a few other tourists taking photos so it's not uncommon to wait up to 10 minutes.

It’s a nice photo spot. I ended up there after taking a stroll in kings park on a Wednesday afternoon, luckily no one else was there so we took our time to take some nice photos. Do note that there was literally nothing else other than the house itself, so plan your visit wisely, this place is worth at most a 15min stop if it is not crowded.

Stopped by for few minutes to take some pics before home. Nothing much πŸ™ˆ (there is one couple with a baby blocking the walk way, baby was crawling from bridge to staircase and so i didn't manage to walk in & take a pic with the blue boat house)

Amazing blue tiny boat house. And it's good to take a small walk along the river. Parking in the lot doesn't need fee.

The famous Blue Boat House at Perth is an absolute must-visit! The picturesque setting along the Swan River is breathtaking, especially during sunset. The vibrant blue facade of the boathouse against the stunning backdrop makes for an Instagram-worthy shot. It's an iconic landmark that encapsulates the essence of Perth's charm. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place will leave you mesmerized by its beauty. Don't miss it! , fortunately I’m there on weekday and there is less crowd. Of

Two families before me so I waited about 10 minutes. I find this view calming so if I'm near, I try to visit for a few pics. Stairs have recently been redone and is a good spot to sit and capture a few shots.

Quite a long freaking queue with people hogging the place for wedding photo... Took a few snaps and immediately left as to give way to others It's picturesque and kinda an icon for Perth. But nothing really super special

Beautiful blue boat house. It's just located exactly next to main road. Its truly beautiful because of the blue sky and the sea, I think this is why makes the whole picture nice. If you're coming from perth cbd, take bus 950 it will bring you stop right in front of the blue boat house.

Great time to go is 13.00 until 15.00 afterwards many people's. Weather is good today at least no rain. After raining also not recommended to go here because the water will rise and you can't even go near the house. Many jellyfish and it's super dangerous, can sting. Beware.

It was raining that morning when we visited the Blue Boat House. The rain stopped briefly, and we are thankful to God for the beautiful rainbow and brief window for us to take a few photos. We are not new in visiting Perth, but this is our first time at the Blue Boat House. There were a couple before us, but they were very considerate and did not hold up the queue. In fact, there was no queue behind us.

Enjoyed the walk to get there but when I got there I honestly thought it looked OK. Not sure why it's so popular haha. But do no regret going there to see it for myself. Seems like a pretty historical place and some efforts have been made to maintain it which I can appreciate. Lots of people coming by to take pics. Some benches nearby if you want to sit awhile. Easy access back to Kings Park I'd you need to head back in afterwards - just need to head back into the city from the road.

It is blue. It is a boat house. So the name says it all. But it cannot capture the significance of this location. It has become a natural gathering point of people. Whenever I see it and feel the pull to it, or see many others lining up for a moment alone with it, all I can think about is the book American Gods, locations of powerful holy energy in the Americas do not home great cathedrals, but instead, humble roadside attractions and people are drawn to this places of power no matter what. I feel like the blue boat house meets this description perfectly, and I do not judge anyone for making a pilgrimage to this special site.

We visited this iconic boat house in Perth on a weekday when there were fewer visitors. There is a nice colour combination of the boat house, river and sky. It's quite a walk from the parking lots.

Absolutely the cutest place for an β€˜Insta worthy’ pic.. Visited during the week and still popular with tourists. A stunning 45 min walk from Perth CBD or a quick bus ride. To say this area is gorgeous is an understatement.. The Swan River walks are a must do and very safe. Walked from Perth CBD to Matilda Bay, stopping at the Blue Boat House.. incredibly beautiful..!

Wow first time we have seen the Blue Boat House on the Swan River. Great tourist attraction to c. Have to park in a nearby streets as there is no parking on the main road. Unfortunately the side streets are very hilly. Worth a look though.
