I’m on day 13 of a 14 day hotel quarantine and I want to take this opportunity to thank the team at the Hyatt for doing such a great job looking after us. The first person I want to thank is the head chef in charge of the meals. Well done champion!Quite honestly the food has been spectacular. There has not been 1 meal I haven’t enjoyed and the variety has been great. It can’t be easy creating such a large menu to keep people interested and you folks have done that. The food has been a nice spark of joy each day. Another great aspect of the Hyatt is the Boise separation between the rooms. Really good and didn’t here a peep from any of the Neighbor’s. Great room size and view. Staff were accommodating and friendly. 10/10 and very grateful to have stayed here for Quarantine. All the best.

We stayed in room 644. A king deluxe room. The room was nice enough and the staff were great. Unfortunately, there were small things that made our stay mediocre. - the view from the room was definitely not worth the name of 'deluxe' and city views. - the fridge was quite old and didn't work properly. - the toilet needed to be flushed 2-3 times just to get rid of toilet paper. - the menu and services for the room/hotel can only be viewed online through their website. No hard copies in the room to read. - the wifi and TV were unavailable for almost 24hrs. - the shower leaks so much water on the floor that drenches the bath mat for the next shower to step on a squishy sponge. - there's a night club at the Ibis across the road that plays some great dance hits with load beats which would be fantastic if I had been there instead of trying to sleep in my hotel room at the Hyatt. All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience but it wasn't worth the $319/night and I wouldn't recommend it to people.

The room was a little old. I slipped while showering in the bathtub 😅 Anyhow the staff was fantastic, helpful, and friendly. The beef rendang in the cafe was good. Walking distance from most places that i wanted to go to. I love the Swan River view.

I’ve just checked in after waiting 1.5 hours. I emailed 2 days ago requesting early check-in, and received no response. I have just waited in line for half an hour (not their fault) only to be told my room wasn’t ready at 2.30pm. I was told I’d have to wait in the long queue again because it wasn’t fair to jump the queue. I said I’d already been waiting half an hour and check-in was at 2pm. The response was that check-in is FROM 2pm. Told me to come back in half an hour. Went back in half an hour and the room still wasn’t ready. Waited another 20 minutes. The lovely lady at reception gave me a bottle of wine. I walked up to my floor to find the cleaner still not finished with the rooms and she was chatting on the phone on a personal call. Found the reason I couldn’t check in. I’ve just tried to log in to the hotel free wifi and it’s not working. I also read their in-room policies, which clearly state that check-in is AT 2pm. The only reason the review even meets 3 stars is because it’s a nice hotel and the room is clean, and the reception staff tried to make up for the wait. But I wish I’d booked with a budget chain because I would have been able to make the most of my one kid-free weekend this year and get some down time.

We stayed one night and the room was lovely and clean. However very dissatisfied with the $30.00 parking fee when we could of paid by credit card on our exit for $14.00 and we prepaid for breakfast which was okay but we then got charged $7.00 each for coffee out of the machine, which at no time did you get informed of the charge, until checkout. Left a bitter taste

We bought the Regency club package which included Canapés and drinks between 5pm and 7pm and the food and service was sensational. It was so lovely sitting there watching the sunset and knowing that drinks and food are included. It also included a buffet breakfast the next morning which was also beautiful. Unfortunately, even though we walked for an hour before breakfast, we still put on weight after the weekend!

Throwback to the 80’s Big rooms, quiet, clean, functional, Massive lobby. Nice pool and tennis court. Good value room rates, shame about the car parking charge and $30 breakfast charge or it would have been 5 stars.

We booked a Club room which gave us access to club lounge where we had evening canapes & drinks. Enjoyed a good buffet breakfast downstairs with lots of vegetarian options. Very pleasant service throughout our stay

The best thing about the hotel is the wonderful room size. A very dated hotel and less than ideal check in process. The pool area needs a makeover and the bar service srea there needs to be open to give some vibe and atmosphere as well as...service! It's not a 5 star experience by any measure but fine for an overnight stay.

While my husband is on a business trip, I went along with him and stay at this hotel. It is a big and nice hotel. The staffs are nice and helpful. The room that we had is a bit small but it was clean with simple decorations. They were refrigerator (no microwave unfortunately), electric kettle, a large TV and a desk overlooking the beautiful swan river ! The bathroom is a bit old and there's crack on the sink😑. They have a small gym and an outdoor swimming pool that I couldn't try since it is winter here😄. But it is a nice pool. And.... You can just go outside and walk by the swan river to enjoy the scenery. For the foods, they have restaurant in the lobby or you can go around the hotel and find nice restaurants.

The hotel is a little dated and there is all sorts of construction work going on as at July 2023, including a massive crane right outside my room. Food is good and service is friendly. Because the atrium is very high the place is incredibly cold. They probably need to put in a suspended ceiling. Hotel is not centrally situated and its a bit of a walk to the main CBD.

Overall, the room was good. The bathroom needs a bit of a revamp. We were there for a work Christmas function and were treated to a Moulin Rouge themed 3-course meal. The service was very good and enjoyed the Burramandi dish. Everyone who worked there is friendly. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, so many choices.

Check in great but missing few things in room as mentioned when done the booking but after calling room service things got done without hesitation. Great facilities, my daughters loved the swimming pool. Food bit expensive but worth it, in room dining services great and overall ok experience with my family of four. Recommend.

This hotel is far behind the age. The room fit-out is aged, and only one cafe is currently open. The breakfast provision is minimal. It is just a bit better than the cheapest economy hotels in the market. I would say the best thing about this hotel is its location. It is a huge waste that such an average hotel marked with four/five stars occupying such a premium location in perth.

There were no hotel rooms available anywhere in Perth during this period, due to Coldplay concert. However, I was able to book a room with Hyatt, thanks to being a Globalist. I received a warm welcome from the staff, and although I didn't mention early check-in while booking, I was provided with it. I got upgraded to lounge access floor. The rooms are spacious, well equipped with amenities and with a beautiful view. I loved the gym (as compared to other hotels around), it has sufficient modern equipment for both cardio and strength training. There's also a large swimming pool and tennis court, although I didn't use those. The breakfast is splendid with variety of options. Room service food was also good in terms of quality and quantity, I'd loved to see more options in the menu though. Also, nothing wrong with the washrooms, but they could be modernized. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful weekend anniversary stay at this Hyatt for the first time and we were not disappointed. From the moment we pulled up at the main entrance to checking out the whole experience was seamless. The room was spotless and spacious, the food was amazing and the pool was warm and clean. The best part of the whole thing though was definitely the staff. Polite, helpful, friendly and professional. Special shout out to Jankata at reception who went above and beyond out expectations and is a credit to the Hyatt. Thank you and we'll hopefully be back soon.

We had a pleasant stay. Comfortable and clean rooms, we had a view of the pool. Bathroom had a bath/shower and toilets was a bit noisey. Pool was warm and great variation on depths. Would of liked Sauna to be hotter. Pool bar wasn't open as it wasn't Summer yet, but can see how much fun that space can be when weather is hotter. Gym had good equipment to get you through a basic workout. Machines had a counter and ROM screen! Wow! Buffet breakfast was delicious had a great selection. Great coffee. Eggs cooked to your liking. We took the bus straight up the street to take us closer to the CBD - free for inner city travel. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Hotel and fantastic customer service with nice room service. The bathroom could be a bit better/modern. It is still really practical and enjoyable. I haven't try the swimming pool and spa. The buffet breakfast is delicious ($35/person).

The double Queen room was large with a nice size closet and drawers. Bathroom was large with tub and walk in shower. Air conditioner was quiet. Breakfast, for extra charge, was quite nice.

Stayed 4 nights at the King river view room (7th level) for attending the conference in the hotel. The staff was so kind and great. (Especially, thanks to Zack.) My original assigned room had a blocked view by the building front. When I asked whether there is any other room, they reassigned the room a bit closer to the riverside. There was still the building front, but able to enjoy the river view during the day and sunset. Loved the decent room size even though the facilities are a bit outdated.

Pleasant staff and location however the hotel itself is not up to the Hyatt standard. It is very dated and old. My room was very dirty, stains in the carpet and dusty. Felt like the hotel needed to be ventilated as the air also felt dirty. When asked how was my stay I advised the receptionist and he didn’t respond and scribbled on a piece of paper., maybe nervous? A simple thank you for the feedback would have been appreciated. Not value for money

Handy to a Craft Brewery on a wharf but, need to catch the Free bus to the City otherwise it's a bit of a hike. Staff here were very helpful explaining how to get to places & the rooms were very large and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was 1st class. I can definitely recommend a stay here.

Stayed overnight, from the moment we arrived great service with bags, check in, lovely, friendly, professional and helpful staff. Good breakfast lots of variety. Helpful on discharge. Beautiful Swan River views. Only drawback was renovations, very noisy during the day, that's progress. Thank you

Currently under renovation. Attended a function. Parking good except only option is paywave so was an issue for us. Same with bar took cash as we do at fictions for raffles etc and they wanted card so have to leave ballroom for drinks. Not ideal. But place is nice itself and hope upgrades allow for better options in future. Not everyone trusts cards or what's to leave a digital footprint for thieves.

We had room 733 with river views. The room itself was great, very comfortable, modern & well maintained. The King bed was very comfortable but I found the pillows quite bulky (my fiancee liked them). The hotel inside was really nice. The staff were very accommodating & professional. We felt at home. I was a little surprised the minibar had no alcohol & there was no microwave in the room but those aren't big issues. The continental breakfast was perfect. The concierge staff were very welcoming. The overall experience was great & we'd happily stay there again. The one thing that let it down was the view of the deconstruction work below our room.

Stayed three times in 5 weeks and loved it. The breakfast buffet was superb. Evening dinner also good. The case storage facility is a godsend for the wilderness tour we did as we had to get down to 2× 16kg for the tour. Rooms good on the three floors we tried.

We were not told when booking about the renovations taking place. They told us when we checked in that it was being done but shouldn't impact us. There wasn't constant noise but when there was it was very loud drilling/grinding and our room lost power for a period of time. We went for a swim in the pool and someone from hotel security came to remind us the pool was closing in half an hour. When we tried to call room service later that night the phone in the room didn't work so we had to use our phones and call the hotel that way. They reimbursed us the $30 parking fee (which we weren't told about either) don't assume u get free parking when u pay hundreds of dollars for a hotel room.

A large hotel, so some maintenance in progress on 6th floor. Fortunately stayed over weekend, so no noise disruption. Hotel booked in September 2022, so again no issues reported at that time. Receptionist very polite and advised us of possible disruption. All staff encountered, were friendly and helpful. About a 15 minute walk to Central shopping area. Not far from riverside promenade. Would have been a great view of river, however a large crane obstructed view. You cannot win them all!

I stayed there for 1 night with my family. The room was okay. Next morning we had a booking for a buffet breakfast. As me , my wife and kids are vegetarian and I was lil bit worried about the food in buffet that could we get a much more vegetarian option. But fortunately when we went to have a breakfast down there luckily I had a chance to meet with Chef named Raj who was working there in live kitchen and explained us about the food and helped us in providing a lot of vegetarian dishes. The food was amazing , loved it and worth what we pay for it. I highly recommend to have the morning buffet breakfast for all the people before leaving hotel.

I was worried about the noise from internal renovations happening so asked for a quiet room - took ear plugs just in case. Great sized room, comfy bed, slept well. Easy check in and out. A nice treat to stay here.

The room was 28m^2 and so fairly good size. Decor is quite good but a little outdated and worn, looks more like a 4 than 5 star room. The king bed was actually 2 singles pushed together which isn't so comfortable. The wifi speeds were good with ~50Mbps during the day and ~20Mbps in the evenings. There is the requirement to reconnect at the splash page every 24hrs though. HVAC worked well and actually offered cool and heat which is extremely rare. TV had free to air and Fox sports and a few others and so good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room amenities were good. The quarantine food was actually very good, they seemed to try and make an effort to make it healthy and quality was good. For a 4 star hotel it would get a 5 star rating but given its a Hyatt then the tired and worn look of some parts of the room means it gets a 4 star review.

Quarantined in this hotel over two weeks.Having an experience of quarantine in Howard springs, this place seemed nothing closer. The arriving experience was terrible, however they were chatty and considerate during the phone calls ....I guess their health derivatives are different from NT.Food was warm and tasty, except for portion size.Exit experience was smooth and the reception staff helped us with the luggage and taxi arrangements. We enjoyed our stay here and gotta bonus firework show from our room.

  • 1/5 Adrian T. 2 years ago on Google
Day 2 of the quarantine. The room is 2/10 for a 5 star hotel. No minibar, paid only movie chanels. Furniture is old, could use an upgrade. The food delivered is just above the sustenance line, but only that. No facilities for smoking people...even in prison, an inmate will get 2 hours per day outside, where he can smoke, here we cannot. This is worse than prison.

I'm on day 11/14 and I just wanted to thank all the staff here: they've made our hotel quarantene very easy. I came in injured, on a wheelchair and alone with my toddler. 🤦They've all gone out of their way to make sure we were both safe and happy. Rooms are spacious, food is good and always warm and they're really good with deliveries (care packages or take-away). Thanks guys! :)

Dinner on day 13 hotel quarantine was cold penne, a dry roll and an apple delivered sometime between 8.35 and 9pm. Cold because staff frequently forget to ring and tell you it's been delivered and mealtimes are so irregular that you have no idea when food will be delivered. For a 5 star hotel being paid to look after detained travellers there service is pretty poor. Rooms are a good size, good view from window (can see the sun and sky). Toilet flushes by itself randomly through day and night.

A third of the way through quarantine here, very disappointed with the experience thus far. Judging by other reviews on this page, customer service isn't typically their weak point. Perhaps this is more a case of how they are handling guests who are here on quarantine, i.e. not here by choice. They refuse simple requests like an additional fruit for breakfast, an extra timtam snack for dinner. Food portions are pathetic. Tonight is one of those nights I'm absolute famished so I call (at 1030pm) to check if the hotel can help bring my UberEats up. Turns out they don't do so past 11pm so that's out of the question. Room service ended at 10pm so that's out of the question too. Honestly hoped the front desk would take the initiative to offer to get a member of the staff to bring a small snack up but I guess that was hoping for too much. 5th day in. Exercise equipment which they mentioned would arrive on the 5th day isn't here either. Not to mention, got diarrhoea 2 days into quarantine, eating only hotel served food. Don't want to be hasty about things but seems too coincidental that another 3 of my peers (out of the 7 of us who are here for quarantine together) experienced it too. Best the hotel could do was to link us up with the nearby pharmacy where we bought our own pills. That's all. Shocked to find peers sending pics of chicken not fully cooked and worm found in fruit. Hoping that my experience will take a turn for the better in the remaining days, but for now it is downright abysmal.

Outdoor pool was the best thing about this hotel oh and the cloud like pillows. Food was very ordinary, certainly not up to a 5 star standard. Furniture could do with a facelift especially in the Conservatory. I would bypass this hotel whilst it is a quarantine hotel even with reduced prices.

Day 8 of quarantine and tonight I make my exit to self quarantine the remaining 14days at home. Yay! However it's sad to be leaving. It's been a wonderful stay. 10/10 and compliments to the Chefs and Stewards, Room Service Attendants, Hotel Healthcare and Wellbeingstaff, Receptionists and Security who tirelessly sat through the night making sure we didn't escape!...jokes...you guys were amazing doing twilight shifts and couldn't have been more safer here. The food was great, tasty and colorful. The rooms clean and decorative. Accessories were to my needs Good job Hyatt Regency Perth. Keep up the good work.

When we visited Perth, this was a lovely hotel. The lobby is beautiful and offers a nice ambience, especially with the bar and seating areas. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms aren't bad by any means, but at the same time, I wouldn't call them exceptional. They offer pretty much the same amenities that any other hotel in this price range would, but that being said, I wouldn't say I was unsatisfied either. The location is really quite nice, but at least at the time of writing this shortly after covid restrictions being lifted, there were a disappointing lack of restaurants in the immediate area. Many of the restaurants are part of other hotels, and while not bad, are a little expensive for what they are. However, if you are willing to catch one of the many nearby buses into the busier areas of Perth, there's plenty of options. Being right next to the water, and not too far from Elizabeth Quay meant that we weren't very far from some beautiful sights of the Perth skyline. Overall, a pretty good hotel that I would stay at again.

Had a great stay in hotel and it is remarkably quiet being so close to the city. Comfortable bed and good facilities. Recommend an early morning swim in the rooftop pool and breakfast at the hotel Cafe. A big thanks to Raymond for being so kind to my 4 year old and attentive with our breakfast and lunch. We will definitely come to stay again.

Stay was very comfortable. The rooms were upto the mark. Breakfast was exceptional. Special shoutout to Chef Raj who made amazing omlettes and took the time out to teach me how to make his signature omlette dish. 24 hour gym access was a cherry on the cake during our stay in addition to the club access evening unlimited drinks and cold starters. Will come back here and highly recommend the hotel!

I've been staying here for 10+ years whenever i return to Perth and this trip was by far the worst! Firstly, the security hold was more than the booking itself and when I queried it I was advised it was correct and then advised by another that it was incorrect.. Breakfast needs to be brushed up, urgently! 10 people in the restaurant and no bacon, egg or sausages, that is very poor. Finally, my world of hyatt status allows me late checkout, and it's always been acknowledged and allowed, this time they wanted to charge me! Not happy. You already overcharged me.. Finally, hotel is being used for covid patients, and what is with the buckets scattered on the 9th floor? I'll be going to the Hilton from now on.

I stayed at The Hyatt Perth for 4 nights, and had a wonderful experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming- I particularly loved the gorgeous lady called 'Chilli' on the front desk. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The room had a great view of the river, and was very comfortable.

The view was stunning, the food was tasty. Our room bis on the top floor. We enjoyed the big bathroom and the bath tub. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is big and very very comfy. The office room was big and comfortable too. Everything is clean and neat. We love the room and we had a very welcoming stay as the staff are very friendly and professional. The inside of the building is amazing, so many layers and you feel so free to walk around as the whole environment was so wild and big. Love this hotel, very big to walk around the backyard too. And from the back yard you can walk straight to the river side. We love the experience and will definitely come back again for the next trip.

Amazing friendly staff. Very clean and nice hotel. Gym is good and the sauna and pool serves its purpose. I was a bit disappointed about my dinner… fresh and tasty but not at the standard that the hotel is at.

Room OK. Location fine. Bathroom a bit outdated but clean. Biggest complaint: commual areas such as breakfast area and bar/lounge extremely cold with air conditioning at full blast. Everyone sitting with overcoats on. Mentioned at reception several times and was told they have heaters under their d⁸esks. Great for guests! Such a shame.

Arrived before our room was ready and went to spend some time at the pool while we waited. It was a 36 degree scorcher of a day and we were very disappointed to find that there is NO SHADE at the pool at all aside from the loungers which were all reserved (and reserving a shaded lounger costs $150-$200 for 3 hours). Honestly shocked that no shade is available next to the pool or at the pool bar. Not sure how much we’ll be able to use the pool. Too soon to comment on rooms and service. ** Edited to add that service was lovely, the staff were friendly and polite, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Overall very happy with our stay, except for the shade issue!
