Stayed here on the 23rd August 2023 and can comfortable say it was the WORST hotel stay of my life. The customer service was non existent. The security guard rostered on that evening was aggressive and quite frankly needs mental health support asap (please check in on your employees, some are not okay). Apparently you are not allowed to watch TV or have a conversation after 10pm in this hotel or it is deemed as disruptive. They will swear at you, they will threaten you and you will not enjoy your stay. We were not asked how our stay was upon check out, assuming they didn't care for our feedback. We only stayed here as my parents are regulars but you lost 2 customers that day. The only positive was the room was clean and tidy.

Great price for what you get for. Spacious room and a stunning shower. The bed was comfy and it’s a great location if you want to go out for drinks or dinner in the city. (Stayed end February 2022) Definitely staying here again soon!

The hotel has an excellent location, you can be in town or at the train station in a few minutes. The communication was a bit bumpy, but thanks to Sinan, the operation manager, it worked (at least at the beginning) and we got a very nice room on the top floor. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the service there is also excellent. Unfortunately, communication didn't work at all during our stay: there was only one mini bottle of shower gel for 2 people and we had to beg for a second bottle every day. But after an embaressing chat with the reception we bought our own shower gel. This was incredible for a hotel with this high rates! Sinan promised me SEVERAL times that the Hilton Rewards points would be rounded up at the end of our stay, but this was an empty promise, because despite repeated inquiries, nothing happened. Please note: the Indian restaurant in the house is NOT part of the hotel! Although the hotel advertises this restaurant in the rooms and thus suggests that as a Diamond Member you get a discount and Hilton Rewards for the amount you spent there, you only find out when you pay the bill that the restaurant has nothing to do with the Doubletree. If we had known that beforehand we wouldn't have gone there, especially since the service there was more than bad, we clearly felt cheated.

Personally I travel far and wide to find the best Indian food that Perth has to offer. It is no secret after over 30 different Indian restaurants I was looking forward to this new opening. Why & what makes this restaurant any different to any other? 1st is the new menu, 2 fat Indian's have not sat back on their empire and now they offer you the same quality but with a new and an extra food and drinks menu. This new menu is totally fresh, with a hint of what you know. It has taken from what they have learnt and built up from their other restaurants. Then have gone the extra mile with their skill set to offer you a taste tingling, high class Indian experience that takes you to another level. Then and only then will you understand. This isn't an Indian restaurant. This is an Indian food place of worship. North bridge isn't new, but this is the place is that place that gives you the experience that you are somewhere different on so many levels. Food 10/10, service 9/10, Overall experience 11/10

Great rooms, decent price for the room. Don’t stay here on Friday or Saturday nights. None of the rooms are sound proofed at all and the location is right next to an all night karaoke place. I stayed on the 14th floor and I can still hear music as clear as day. I’m sure during the week it’s not as bad just really disappointing sound proofing for the quality of everything else. The bed is wonderfully soft which I’m sure I would have a great sleep in if the room was sound proofed.

Seamless, fast and efficient check-in by front reception. Hotel has a pool and a large enough gym which is handy. Rooms were perfect, nothing to fault. Clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and the room had large window with great view. Would have loved to stay longer. Thank you for a lovely place to stay

Absolutely wonderful, the rooms we had (stayed twice over Christmas break) were so good! Really well designed. Food, pool facilities and staff were great. Thank you 🙏

3 night stay over Valentines day. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Northbridge within walking distance to the city. The hotel is chic and inviting with excellent service and security. A long queue to check in was only a very short wait and the staff were super friendly and efficient. Hotel room (city view king room - upper floor) was clean, modern and well appointed. Rain shower screen complete with blind looking into room is very sexy and luggage storage was without compare. The space in the room is really well used with a super comfy bed. Most important to use is the excellent bathroom with lighting you can do your makeup in!! So many other hotels are so dark I am sure they don't want you to see what you look like before you go out! Fluffy bathrobes and towels are a huge plus. There were a couple of small issues which once brought to the attention of James the manager were dealt with very quickly to a high standard and I have no complaints!! I was even contacted by the manager via text to ensure my stay was meeting my expectations and got a very quick response and action. Room service was quick and to a high standard. Breakfast was included and Jaye in the restaurant went out of her way to ensure we felt personally welcome even remembering how we liked our coffee the following morning. We had some special requests which were accommodated by the duty manager James and Maya which I am very appreciative of. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Well done team!

We had stayed at this property pre-Covid and decided it was time to give it another go. Unfortunately, the shine of being new is long gone and the hotel now has some serious staffing/ housekeeping issues. As Hilton Diamond, we received what was sold to us as an “upgrade” to what they call a “Panoramic Deluxe King”. When you look at the hotel map, it’s exactly the same size as any other room, just on a higher floor and our room even faced the dead-boring suburbs side of the hotel. Nothing of a panorama to speak. The room was okay otherwise albeit a bit small, the mattress way too soft and the otherwise lovely rain shower had close to zero water pressure but we could live with all this. However- after bombarding me with those idiotic marketing emails from Covid time about how clean the rooms are at Hilton and even having a “Clean Stay” sticker on the bathroom mirror, hygiene turned out to be exactly the opposite of that: We noticed lots of smears and not cleaned spill stains on the furniture and the desk and even found a used tampon package (luckily not the tampon itself at least!) on the floor Clearly, if you can’t even vacuum the floors properly between guests, what chance is there that “Extra care will be taken in cleaning much used surfaces”? Housekeeping generally was a big problem: One day, we called for the room to be serviced before heading to the pool, only to find out two hours later that it hadn’t been done. Next day, we had the “Do not Disturb” sign on but housekeeping ignored it and stormed into the room anyway which is simply a total no no (and the signs are VERY clear in this hotel- nice big red or green squares, electronically lit so unless you’re a total moron... Another day, we left the hotel around 10am for a tour to Rotty Island and the housekeeping lady was literally right outside our room doing the room opposite from us. Green light clearly switched on so we thought that surely she would do ours afterwards. But when we came home in the evening, nothing had been done. Not much worse than retreating to your hotel only to find a messy room so I called reception straight away- I had seen somewhere earlier that “Housekeeping is available till 4pm” and by that time it was well beyond 6 so I was prepared. And, as expected, the completely tone death lady at reception wanted to pull the “Unfortunately Sirrrrr…” line on me but I wasn’t having it so told her to go do it herself or get her manager to do it. The latter gave me dirty looks once we left for yet another to wait in a nearby pub for the room to be cleaned but at least it was finally done. Zero apologies, zero explanation, nothing. When I checked out at the end, the then receptionist asked me to write a review about these housekeeping issues which in itself is rather unprofessional but I herby do it: Fix your housekeeping and train your staff properly! Finally, be aware of the location: As a middle aged gay couple, we stayed here again precisely BECAUSE of the location. Northbridge is the exact opposite of what people think of when they ask us why the heck we like Perth: It’s artsy, gritty, noisy and could be at home in any bigger city. In other words, it’s a nightlife district with all that you’d expect. Directly opposite the hotel are two sex shops and a gay nightclub, to the left and right are a really dodgy looking pool billiard hall and a dingy karaoke bar aka money laundering establishment. I’d think this hotel was never meant to be a place for families but there were screaming kids aplenty so just be aware- if you stay here, don’t complain afterwards about the noise and the nightlife. For us, this is one of the very few positives about this hotel but that alone won’t be sufficient to draw us in again- there is just way too much wrong and I don’t like staff’s/ management’s attitude in the slightest.

Nice comfortable room. Suitable for people on business trip. Love the way the wardrobe can be accessed through the bathroom. The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. Quiet surroundings during weekdays.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked the greatest hotel for our sporadic overnight staycation. Manuela greeted us in such a magnificent caring and professional manner. She is such a delight and an absolute asset to the Doubletree by Hilton team. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. We were a little miffed, as when booking, we requested a room with a bath/spa, however it was a minor blip on our wonderful stay. 10/10 recommended staying here!!!

The location of this hotel is excellent with multiple restaurants and busy nights life around you! The pool area is also magnificent to just relax and enjoy life. The service is a bit slow, some of the staff were rude to deal with and had no idea about their drinks and food menu, they were forcing us to buy 3 plates of fries just to get one drink at the bar, some of the staff were very pleasant and quite knowledgeable. The staff need more training in that aspect. Overall it was a good stay.

Fantastic hotel with great facilities! We loved the comfort of the room, bed and pillows. There were some very cool features like the dimmer and night lighting, the double sided wardrobe, rain shower with the electric blind that brings in beautiful natural light to the bathroom. There were even beauty lights on the mirror and a ring light mirror, perfect for getting ready before an event. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous, and beautiful city views at night. Very close to great restaurants, and the restaurant downstairs looked lovely (if we didn't have plans we would've eaten there). Staff were friendly and efficient.

I never leave reviews for anything but I really want to say thank you to all the incredible staff who were so happy and lovely our entire stay. Nothing was to much, the service was absolutely incredible. Breakfast was great, location was perfect for the nightlife. Rooms were clean and fresh. It was a fantastic experience, the staff at this hotel should be commended for their hospitality :)

Wonderful friendly customer service , eveyone went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable . Great central location and surrounded by wonderful variety of restaurants.Rooms were spacious and very clean .Also great having parking validated everyday. Only negative was the buffet breakfast 😔cold eggs , undercooked sausages, not enough fruit variety- would be lovely to see some noodle options 💕💞The tea and coffee stations / carts were lovely and the juice was very tasty. Happy hour was a lovely unexpected bonus .

Was a great hotel- but lack of parking was a big issue! The hotel didn't even have a place to park quick and unload luggage- or offer valet parking. We ended up driving around for over a hour searching for parking. All lots were full- and street parking was not available either. So- if you don't have a car- location is great- if you do. Good luck! They were not helpful at all with suggestions for alternate parking options.

Terrible on check in advised there was no onsite parking facilities, had find a luggage trolley and load our luggage on and take up to our room ourselves, the shower blind did not work and could not order Batista coffee from room service at 10pm at night. Very disappointing for the price - rooms are average. Not a favourably memorable experience!

The room was nice but extremely noisy from karaoke every night. Breakfast was disappointing eggs cold, no margarine df spread option, awful instant coffee. Food poorly labelled so ingredients were vague.

Highly recommend Doubletree. Have stayed here several times and is my go to hotel when staying in the city. Great rooms and service. Just need to turn keep the pool temperature below 30 degrees. 🤣🤣

Absolutely terrible service we paid for parking as directed went to dinner then could not return back to the carpark as it was full we drove around for 2 plus hours trying to find an alternative I then went into the hotel and asked for an alternative option but was not given anything … my partner then went back into the hotel and spoke with the Manager who offered nothing we packed our things and left yet have still been charged …. This was our special anniversary night that was ruined and I will make sure to find the top of this hotel chain and let them know how shocking and bad the service was…. We have never ever been treated like this before I would never stay there again nor recommend to anyone

Had lunch here today as part of a wedding celebration. The service was attentive and food pleasant. But seeing some of the riff raff people waiting in the lobby and checking in and out would not encourage me to stay here. I get the feeling this hotel attracts a trashy clientele on a budget.

Exceptional hotel! The room was very large, modern and clean. Bathroom was really spacious and had access to a walk through closet connecting to the main room. The shower had an electric blind allowing a view of the bedroom or privacy depending on your preference. Beautiful heated pool and good gym facilities (by hotel standards). Staff were lovely and the breakfast was great.

I'm very disappointed. The room didn't seem big enough to be what we paid for, which was the king deluxe room. it was clean, however, not what was paid for. I ordered the larger beef pie. Please avoid as I was vomiting later on in the day & now have diarrhoea. Because we've stayed on Christmas day the food should have been a lot better. myself and my partner paid for the breakfast buffet this morning (please avoid paying also as the food that was supposed to be hot food was stone cold) overall very disappointing as this was me and my partners first stay in australia for Christmas. Alot to improve on.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Faultless customer service. Great full buffet breakfast. We love barista style coffee in the morning so we always take our own portable coffee machine. You pay extra for the barista coffee at breakfast and the room only has instant. The room was well equipped and nicely designed. The pool is a relief from Perth's searing heat. Well done Hilton. No hesitation coming here again.

The hotel is well equipped and maintained, the rooms are clean and modern with nice bathrooms. The location is great, with everything nearby. Very easy to get to bed after a big night out. The only slight annoyance is the outside noise being audible in the rooms late at night. You obviously can't have both the convenience of a location in the middle of the nightlife district and a silent hotel but it is something to be aware of if you're staying on a Friday or Saturday night. Consider a higher floor if possible.

Walkable distance to coles, train station, and cat bus stations. Very comfy bed, good quality of western breakfast selection. A lot of restaurants around the hotel. The sleep light switch setting in this hotel is just perfect compare to other hotels that i experience before.

⚠️WORST HOTEL SERVICE EVER⚠️ These guys are SUPER lazy. They don’t clean the rooms. They turn off the phone lines when busy (even emergency button doesn’t go through). And the best part? When u go down and ask them face to face, you can tell they don’t even care.

While bed is great comfy soft, weird design of the closet I keep on bumping my head and foot onto sharp edges, I can’t imagine how it work for those bigger person. Also shower wasn’t great in power for a star hotel it would have been a basic. Wifi keeps on disconnecting, too. I love the light sensors, work well for me and lastly the room doesn’t have safe box. Breakfast was good.

Good value and good quality for the price. The rooms are pretty good and very clean :) The location is vlose to the center and it is a good spot. Service of the personnel could be slightly better. Can clearly recommend the hotel.

Staff need training, everything was pretty standard. Being an international guest, I found my stay very underwhelming. Stayed for a week, breakfast was the same every day. Reception staff don't greet and not are not very friendly. I assume they don't cater much for international guests so perhaps they should be trained to be more receptive of their guests. It's often very busy at reception so one needs to stand in a queue to be attended to. Often only 1 or 2 staff at reception attending to many people. Other than this, the place is conveniently situated despite it being in the middle of a nightclub district. My room was quiet despite the noise outside. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for international business travellers.

Had a fantastic two night staycation. Was greeted by the super friendly and professional Alyssa who was terrific throughout our stay. The room was spacious and modern and a slight hiccup in the bathroom was quickly remedied by housekeeping. Unfortunately, our shower blind didn’t work but that made showering a little more exciting ;0) Nice big windows with no buildings obstructing our view so we could leave the blinds open at all times but I would have liked a few more channel choices for late night viewing. Breakfast was great and the hotel was quite quiet leading up to Christmas. This hotel will definitely become our city go to.

Absolutely awesome place!! Conducted a workshop at DoubleTree Hilton today which was a huge success! From the initial site visit meeting to catering and room requirements, we were taken care of really well by the events team. You guys deserve more than 5 stars! Thank you so much for making us look so good. Looking forward to working with you again in the future.

I highly recommend the Doubletree Hilton, Northbridge. Perfect location accessible to the city and public transport in all directions to the metropolitan area. The standard of this hotel is above 5 star in my opinion. I would definitely recommend and I will stay here without any hesitation in the future. Extremely good value for its pricing. I loved my holiday in Perth and happy with my accommodation in every way.

You get a cookie on check in! I don’t think you are hearing me correctly! A cookie! A warm cookie on check in. This hotel is amazing, the staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. I will say that during the morning there was a little noise from the renovations but that will be over soon. It is worth it to book a club room to get access to the club lounge for breakfast and to have a quiet spot to do some work. I had lunch by the pool one afternoon as well, the food was really good, and came up to me quite quickly. Also room service at midnight was a life saver when i could not be bothered to venture out into northbridge on a Saturday night. Thank you to the staff for making my stay perfect

Staff were so helpful, check in and out was a breeze. Rooftop pool looks so much bigger in photos, hot afternoon saw the small pool very overcrowded. Still such a nice setting with bar nearby and views of Perth skyline. Rooms decent size and very clean. Buffet breakfast selection was good. Would’ve loved to see better beer on tap options at rooftop bar, and music playing throughout the day(guests were bringing their own speakers up for music).

  • 5/5 Dan 2 years ago on Google
The photo is the view from our 10th floor window. The only negative was the fact that the windows were filthy and this obscured the view. Great location bang in the middle of Northbridge (which is OK prior to 10pm but gets feral after that). Nice room. Modern and new. Comfy bed. Enough space. Will stay there again.

  • 5/5 Riph R. 2 years ago on Google
Convenient Location - Great Nightlife Handy place if you are planning a big night out in Northbridge. Excellent rooms and furnishings but the pool is a bit small and can get a bit crowded. Both the Perth Train Station and the Bus Port are within walking distance.

Check in was arranged from 3pm onwards. At 6pm when we arrived our room had not been cleaned and we had to wait 30 minutes. We were however given a free drink card. When we got up to our room. The room had not been cleaned there was a pile of dirty towels and robes on the bathroom floor, dirty bed sheets and the bins had not been emptied. We made our way back down to reception to discussion the issue and was greeted by a young man who had the issue sorted whilst we went out to grab a bite to eat! However it was disappointing that an apology was never made about the lack of customer service and hygiene measures taken. I am also still awaiting my security deposit with no communication about when this will be deposited into my account! Restaurant and bar staff were friendly and helpful... food and drink was serves quickly and fresh

Lovely room and nice view. But annoying music could be heard until 4am from the 8th floor which kept me up all night. Also issues as silver member trying to obtain the 10% discount from dining in at the on-site restaurant when sorting bill at checkout. Staff just kept repeating the total when I mentioned the discount and being a silver member. Would not return.

My Christmas day staycation treat was disappointing to say the very least. From the minute I stepped into the hotel to the minute I left... - checking in - receptionist very busy on computer for a very long time (eye contact and a "will be with you in a minute" would have gone a long way) no smiles or pleasantries during the whole check in process - obviously not happy about working Christmas Day - room with a view (parking lots and industrial buildings lovely thank you) - rubbish bin in bathroom still had previous guests rubbish in it (when advised receptionist was met with a blank stare, no acknowledgement no apology no nothing! so big emphasis on how clean the rooms are due to Covid yet perfectly acceptable for me to share my rubbish bin with strangers) - breakfast could only be described as the most disgusting breakfast I've been served. Scrambled eggs were cold, texture was just plain weird as was the flavour (one mouthful was one too many), bacon was also cold and congealed and my multigrain toast was in fact white bread slightly heated. The sausages and coffee were average - definitely worth the $39.95 I was charged. NOT. - check out was much the same as check in, stood waiting for an extremely long time while the receptionist was once again very busy clicking away on the computer. - had issues paying for my parking, had to ring for assistance turned out my ticket I took to reception the day before as instructed had not been validated - while my accommodation and breakfast charges appeared on my statement immediately I am still waiting for the $100 "incident bond" to be credited back. After spending 39 minutes on hold to enquire about this, I was informed to call back after 5 days.... All in all this was the most unpleasant hotel experience I have had. I would not stay again if they giving away rooms for free - in fact I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me to.

Rooms was fantastic, large king bed ,with a great view. Food service was amazing and the staff were very polite. We had neighbours that were loud at early hrs of the morning. The hotel were very apologetic and knocked 25% off our bill. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends.

It’s such a great novelty being able to get a digital key on your phone & going straight to your room. BUT, doing so you miss out on the wonderful service @ reception. James went out of his way to ensure we were fully informed on what to expect during our stay & when asked about room selection and what we would like, he put us in a room well above expectations. Every other service person we met spoke with welcoming smiles (masks hid the actual smiles) and were always helpful despite being very busy. The hotel itself has a very well appointed fitness centre and a great pool. There’s even a bar there (that we didn’t avail ourselves of). Outside is prime position for bunches of Northbridge eateries & bars thst we most certainly did avail ourselves of. Oh! Pillows, amazing. Sunrise beautiful.

This has been a very pleasant stay. Comfy room. Decent breakfast options. Check in was efficient even with a fully booked hotel. We had a nice room service meal. We like this hotel for access to fringe shows. Great place for a staycation

Wonderful customer service from Becky on check-in, made our visit memorable and easy, rooms are lovely, nicely decorated and super comfy beds, pillows are awesome with full pillow menu. Bathrooms super trendy with large power shower heads. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cafe across the road Chets does good coffee and across the road is an Asian food court for lunch/dinner. On the corner is Portuguese tart cafe worth visiting but sells out by PM

Honestly the best hotel in town for the price. Modern comfortable rooms, excellent location, professional staff. I have stayed at many hotels in Perth, and this one is my favourite. It's even better than the 5 star Hilton hotel down the road.

A lovely hotel in a convenient location. The check-in experience was very good - efficient and werlcoming. Clean room, comfortable beds, friendly staff - it was a very good stay, overall. Given that it was in the moddle of a few nightclubs, I could hear music on my first night, well into the early hours however, it wasn't a problem.

Great place to stay if you want your stuff stolen. Belongings taken from room by cleaners while out through the day. Hotel used the excuse that because the cleaners are contractors, it is not their problem and that we would need to take it up with the contracting business. Wouldn't stay again.
