Nightcap at the Belgian Beer Cafe sounds like a nice alternative to mainstream accommodation. It is an old pub hotel with no reception. We were texted the wrong entry code so initially we could not enter. Fortunately, the adjoining bar staff provided us with the proper code that we could enter with. Upstairs, we were slowly processed by an unfriendly lady that may have done double duties in housekeeping. The room we got was smaller than usual. The bathroom that looks nice in the pictures had black mould in the shower. Not to mention that noise was also coming from the downstairs bar. That must be the reason that a large bowl containing earplugs are available at upstairs. The WIFI code on the information card both at the common area and in the room were incorrect and therefore did not provide connection to the internet. Overall very disappointed, feeling mislead. There should be a significant amount of discount given. Fortunately our booking is only for one night.

Nice place to stay, very clean, looks new, tv has option to open your Netflix account and watch it, good wifi. A little noise at night, from some rooms you heard more noise than others.

Excellent value simple rooms in a great location. Staff James & Kylie went above and beyond to help us out when we needed some help during travel disruptions. Will definitely be my hotel of choice for future trips

Very busy most of the time. Especially when Ive been there and walked past. Menu is good and the selection of beers on tap as well. Take a break and go treat yourself to a refreshing beverage. And something tasty from the menu. Like Arnie said " I'll be back".

After a few dodgy places in Perth and Freo, this was a welcome respite. Staff were all friendly. Check in was super easy. Communication was not too little and not too much. Rooms were awesome. Bed fantastic. Even have a bottle opener with a label "Stolen from Nightcap"😂😂 Great place to stay. Have flagged it as a possible regular in my frequent trips to Perth. Kudos to the team!!🙏🙏

I definitely love the location of this hotel. Perth main station/underground, murray/hay street mall and Elizabeth Quay are easy to reach by walking. Convenience store is just across the street if you need snack or juice. Staff (Megan and Kylie) were friendly and helpful. Our room was okay, quite spacious and clean.

Awesome place! Big rooms, lots of beautiful natural light, central to everything we needed and within walking distance to all the hot spots for a good night out in Perth city. The rooms had everything we need with a fresh modern look. Amazing beds for a good nights sleep and the customer service was A+ Especially loved the check in complimentary drinks and a drink card upon arrival which started our night of perfectly by heading downstairs for a pint and a dance to the live acoustic duo. We will back every time!

Stars for the good value in an expensive city, and convenient location, with comfort food and Belgian beers just downstairs. Layout of our room was quite ‘cozy’ for two, and we paid approx $21 per day ($10 on weekend days) to park in the carpark down the street, but if you’re headed for Rottnest Island, Kings Park or Northbridge, this is an ideal location for a base.

Very friendly staff and convenient location. Room was a good size and beds really comfortable. Walking distance to train, cafes and main Perth attractions. And of course the beer was excellent.

Location for starters. The style and newness of the accommodation facility. So nice and clean and charming. ALL the staff are friendly, helpful and considerate. Nothing a bother. Easy to be at the bar and restaurant and it has a great atmosphere and we heard some very good musicians, met our friends, made friends and enjoyed the food. We will come again for sure.

The room was tidy and good but the noise from the bar and other rooms was loud. I could sleep but it’s too loud and had to awake in midnight. I didn’t receive any emails so no idea how to open the front door and I had to wait few mins until somebody came out.

The Belgian Beer Cafe is so very conveniently located for the Mount Hospital and for everything within the CBD . It is very comfortable, very reasonable priced and the staff are extremely friendly . The Manager Isla is awesome and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is what you want ! The whole experience is fabulously non intrusive as they don’t have a hotel reception as such, but they do have a welcoming beer !!! So it feels like an air bnb experience but with great food beer and wine below and niche cafe’s nearby ! The beds are so comfortable and the tv Chanel choice and Netflix is awesome! I know some people have grumbled about the noise on busy city nights, and the cool jar of ear plugs strategically placed upon the beer fridge gives that away … but seriously 🤦🏻‍♀️ Its a traditional build City accomodation with people all around … I didn’t find it noisy … it was great !

What a gem of a place! Location was amazing, bed was comfy and incredible quiet for being upstairs from a pub. Did I mention how good it was being upstairs from a pub!

Cool building with history, super friendly check in, and comfortable clean room. Note - if you want a quiet nights sleep do not stay here as it is loud. But in saying that if you enjoy the nightlife and want a great central hotel this place is amazing and in a very good location.

I was visiting Perth with my 19 year old daughter. I wanted a place which was reasonable cost, clean and comfortable, where we could have the privacy of separate bedrooms. We were both really impressed with the venue. It is only 3* so it doesn’t have gold plated faucets etc, but it is neat, clean and tidy with a great location. My room was a bit noisy due to proximity to the hotel downstairs, but I didn’t actually mind, and they did provide noise defenders if needed! If we come back, I will happily stay there again.
