All
rooms
and
common
areas
have
reverse
cycle
air
conditioning
units.
The
communal
kitchen
is
open
24
hours.
There
is
a
number
of
common
areas.
There
is
an
area
with
couches
and
a
free
pool
table.
And
a
few
other
areas
with
multiple
couches
in
each.
There
is
a
media
room
with
a
very
large
tv,
DVD
player,
Xbox,
PlayStation
and
a
huge
range
of
DVDs,
and
games
for
the
consoles.
There
is
also
a
room
with
a
library
and
desks.
And
there
is
a
large
selection
of
free
items
ranging
from
clothes
and
shoes,
to
toiletries
and
food.
Wifi
is
free
and
very
good.
There
is
good
security
inside
and
around
the
building.
Management
do
not
tolerate
antisocial
behaviour,
or
theft.
So
it
is
a
good
environment
to
relax
in,
and
also
to
not
have
to
worry
about
your
property
being
stolen.
The
building
has
artwork
done
by
guests
so
is
interesting
to
walk
through
and
have
a
good
look.
There
is
a
large
kitchen
with
4
ovens
and
4
stove
tops
(with
a
total
of
16
gas
burners),
there
are
a
huge
range
of
appliances
and
there
is
plenty
of
fridge
space.
There
are
lots
of
bathrooms
throughout
the
building.
And
there
is
also
an
area
outside
with
couches.
There
is
a
coin
operated
laundry,
clothes
line,
and
ironing
board
and
irons.
There
are
organised
activities
out
of
the
hostel
such
as
Lazer
tag,
All
you
Can
eat
chicken
wing
nights
and
other
activities.
And
there
are
things
such
as
a
very
fun
game
of
hide
and
seek
that
spontaneously
started,
and
there
are
other
free
fun
things
that
happen
in
the
hostel
such
as
a
battle
with
Nerf
guns
(foam
bullets).
There
is
a
friendly
atmosphere
and
on
a
weekend
it
is
enjoyable
to
stay
in
and
have
a
couple
of
drinks.
I
have
made
so
many
new
friends
whilst
staying
at
the
hive.
The
staff
are
wonderful.
They
are
very
helpful
and
work
hard
to
keep
the
hostel
clean.
There
is
a
$20
deposit
and
a
bed
in
a
dorm
room
starts
from
$14.
I
highly
recommend
staying
at
the
hive.
It
was
truly
an
amazing
experience
that
I
will
treasure.
