All-around 4-star experience; one of the easiest 4-star ratings to pick actually. TL;DR: it's good, and comfortable, with nice facilities, but it's not amazing by any stretch of imagination. This is a large hotel, which means it can get crowded if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. That can also translate to things like a slow check-in process. But it also translates into good services, with a nice pool area (even if the outside pool was closed when I visited, which was unfortunate) and the likes. There's even an on-site plastic surgeon which I found not my cup of tea, but well whatever. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and moderately well-equipped (with a couple of oddities like a scale). There are places like some furniture pieces that are starting to feel a little tired and worn, but nothing major. It was quiet at night, which was a good thing but really table stakes for hotels at this class I think. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of meals, including some Asian options. What was strange though was that coffee was extra - at $44+ for breakfast, one would expect it to include a latte, but apparently not. Also a random note: probably due to its casino affiliation, there is a ridiculous amount of security cameras at this hotel. Just something some people might want to be aware of.

We arrived late on a Monday night 10:30 direct from Sydney. Both of us absolutely warm out from a big day in Newcastle and Sydney. We went straight to bed… Checked out the following day at 10am. Received a phone call from management saying we had left the room in a mess. I was very confused. Then was told either myself or my wife vomited in the room. Unfortunately this was not us and we did not notice it at all. We slept and left. How can a hotel firstly leave a room in This state for arriving guest?? $200 cleaning fee, accused us of living like pigs and still happy to charge us the full rate for our stay. Disgusting and disappointed crown Perth. Your cleaning team needs some better training and supervision.

Worked in the travel industry for 10 years and I can say this has been the worst hotel experience. From run down rooms, alarms going off in the room at all hours without being fixed, additional charges to our bill, complete ignorance from the duty managers, forgotten drink orders that were still charged, dirty hotel… I could go on and on but all I can say is think again when staying here.

Do not waste your money at this hotel. My weekend away for my husbands birthday was spoilt at every turn by this establishment. Their go to phrase is “we aren’t affiliated” I called up for parking information and was specifically told to park underneath crown as it would only cost me $40. $120 later and the “we are not affiliated” excuse was used… after the team member mentioned - you should have been advised about our free parking. The young manager advised me “I’ll see if we can issue you an exit ticket” walked to an older gentleman who literally just shook his head no. He then returned and gave me the “as we are not affiliated” excuse… We had to move rooms due to noise and the breakfast offered was the worst I’ve experienced. If you want to treat your loved one… Do not stay here! Go to the Ritz where they know customer service.

Honestly, can not fault this hotel. Amazing location, great rooms, all the amenities and service is exceptional. The only thing I noticed the last 3 days I stayed here was that at the poolside bar you have to be careful. I have paid multiple times with my debit card and got charged a service fee because the employee thought it was a credit card, when I noticed I have told him and then he stopped but I am sure I am not the only one that had that happen to him, Imagine how much money was made out of people that got charged a service fee for credit card payments even when they paid with a debit card. And the last thing was one of the employees there was using what I assume to be her own rewards card instead of asking for mine (which I gave to her after she swiped her one, she looked a bit ashamed once I told her I have my own one) . Like I said, nothing to complain about the service and the hotel, but just watch out for the little things :) .

Lovely location, close to everything you need for the holiday. Rooms quite nice, the kids loved watching movies from the bath. Beds on the small side but quite comfortable. Decent selection of restaurants but many are not for children. Pool area is excellent for children, they'll run around for hours. Water a bit chilly though. Hard to get seats, we had to pay extra to hire some seats. Overall it's pretty expensive but sort of worth it.

Location is good for going to the casino or shows and the nearby stadium. Otherwise it is a taxi ride to other locations in Perth city and surrounds rather than walking distance. The restaurants in the casino complex usually require booking days and weeks ahead so options are often limited to pub food at Merrywell or buffet. There is no complementary water in the room which I found extraordinary. We had to request face washers daily instead of the several hand towels provided. Rooms were clean however carpet shampooing is overdue. Bed and linen very comfortable. Coloured floodlights on the outside of the building shine into rooms which is bizarre! Lighting panel by the side of the bed doesn't dim and is extremely annoying in your face when trying to go to sleep. I've stayed a few times for business now but won't chose to again. Nice view from the room though.

We took advantage of the current 25 percent EOFY sale when booking the twin room with a view, which gave us a fantastic discount for the two nights we intended to stay there. The hotel receptionist was courteous and professional, and check-in and check-out were both straightforward. We had originally intended to pay the $500 security deposit in cash, but the receptionist informed us that room service charges would be added on and not deducted from the cash, whereas if we paid with a debit card, the security deposit would only be $200 and any applicable room service charges would be deducted. We changed to using a debit card as a result for the security deposit. My husband and I stayed there with our two young children, both under the age of five, and the room was very roomy with an amazing view. I would definitely recommend getting a room with a view for the view of Perth city, Optus Stadium, the river overlooking the city, and the crown lagoon pool outside, which is amazing to just stare at at night. The hotel staff provided efficient service, and the room was clean and orderly. The heated indoor pools were fun for my kids to swim in during the winter, and I relished the jacuzzi next to them. I believe it is essential to eat at one of the restaurants in Crown, especially Atrium, which is right next to Metropol and offers such a delectable selection of food for a buffet. You can choose from western and Asian cuisine. Thank you Metropol for a wonderful stay; I'll be back for sure!

This is not a five star hotel. I booked this stay 7 months prior only to be told on arrival the room type wasn’t available. Many thanks to the very professional duty manager who resolved this issue very swiftly. I am not aware of any other 5 star hotel in the world (and I’ve stayed at many all over the world) where you are required to PAY a $500 deposit per room and wait after checkout while someone goes and checks your room like you are undergoing a rent inspection. I will add we are talking actual payment here, not a credit card hold. Payment, which is refunded to you 3-5 business days after your stay, assuming you don’t spend that in the resort. The pool area is a shambles without enough staff. We paid to hire a daybed only to arrive to a wet dirty bed with not one attendant coming to ask if we’d like to purchase a drink the entire 4 hours we were there. Instead we had to line up at the huge line for the pool kiosk. Upon checkout I basically had to beg to see a copy of the bill after being asked how I would like to pay for my incidentals (um maybe the money you have stolen off me?!) and thankfully I did because there were a number of errors. All in all a very underwhelming stay.

We had a mini staycation for my birthday. The staff put us in a room with great views and on the top floor. The after hours service is fantastic. A little overpriced for older, tired looking rooms but still nice. The pool area and restaurants are awesome. Even had a nice little win at the casino. Would definitely stay again.

My guests were told their room was not ready at 3.30pm when check in is at 3pm, we were there for a work function which started at 6.30pm and their room was still not ready at 6.15pm, at this point they were offered a different room and then were charged with breakfast when it was originally included in the booking. For a 5 star hotel this in unacceptable, especially that none of the staff do not seem to even care, no apologies and no offer for a remedy, just "somebody will get back to you, but they are very busy"

I'd like to say great but the beds are small if your 6ft and must be large doubles. 4 in a family room don't fit they are small. So noisy on level 3 and I can hear next door and everyone in the foyer especially 4 am in the morning. The people are great.

I was extremely surprised by our stay. I had read and was concerned by a huge number of one star reviews prior to our stay and was worried what I'd gotten us into. Its either under new Management or they've taken it all into consideration as we had the most efficient stay. Check in at 3pm on the dot, room was available and only had to wait in a minimal queue of a few minutes tops. Check out was just a smooth, parking validated in seconds and we were on our way. Huge amount of food options available in the Crown Complex to choose from no matter what you're in the mood for. Room was also cleaned to a high standard, again considering the 1 star reviews of late, I expected and looked to find dirty surfaces and could not find them. In fact, the entire complex smelt clean and there was hand sanitiser readily available at every door, hallway, transition, etc.

The room itself was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The variety of restaurant and entertainment were also excellent. The cleanliness of the room was quite disappointing. There were dried rose petal residue around the tub, the wide bathtub facet was smeared with soap scum, there were a few wee hairs to top it off. A good friend paid for our stay this time and I wouldn't dare tell him those details. Good overall experience, but hygiene ranks above niceties and Crown should take note.

Spent 4 wonderful nights over my birthday week here, it's my little stay away from home and I splurged on food and drinks and made use of the pool and in room spa. Perfect 37th birthday for me! Will continue to have this celebration of myself every year ! Thank you to all the wonderful staff xxx

Great place for a staycation. Lots to do, plenty of "pool" area, though it does get crowded during peak season (probably only downside). Lots of food options catering for all budgets. Could see staff were at their capacity and doing their best. Very convenient. Walking distance to Optus Stadium so ideal to stay when going there for an event. Breakfast at the Atrium provided a good start to the day.

Stayed in a Luxe King Room on the first floor. We weren't interested in a view so we were happy to be on the first floor. The room was just the right size with a sofa, a desk and 2 chairs. The room was clean and modern. In the room they provided toothbrushes, bathrobes, slippers. We enjoyed our stay and there were many options for dining and drinks within walking distance. The staff were friendly and professional. We will definitely be staying there again.

We had to book accommodation at the last minute, and Metropol was all we could get. Parking was valet, but we didn't know we had to pay until check out. The staff were friendly ,and check-in was easy. There are plenty of food options available, including a room service menu that runs late into the night. The indoor pool was great on a cold day. If you want to party all night or have noisy kids, this is the place for you!! It is loud, all night long. One look at the place tells you it's not five stars. The cleaning standard throughout is what I would expect at a cheap motel. Our first room was dirty , and the staff were quick to move us to a similar room. And hey, that was dirty too! The staff were very apologetic and had the room cleaned. The hotel is old and tired, with maintenance needed throughout. The venue does not reflect the price at all.

Stayed here on 17 th June, the room was $509 , this was a gift for our anniversary and wife's birthday, bathroom sink was all cracked harbouring germs and whatever in these days with Covid and Flu, headboard worn and stained , one bathrobe , no room slippers, wrong breakfast delivered to room, toiletries for one person only, The bathroom sink is a health hazard and requires changing out. Overall not a good stay for $509 , and will not be going back , do yourself a favour and go to crown towers.

Room was fantastic. Room service food was average to say the least , Cold vegetable sides with frozen butter , Spanish onions posing as shallots accompanying the oysters. Requested extra bath towels three times over a 3hr period to no avail. Valet parking very prompt and friendly service .

Atrium buffet - Sunday lunch. Very busy. Long queues of people with long wait times. Very poor not including standard tea and coffee as part of the buffet. Understand added value beverages, i.e., flat white, cappuccino etc should incur an additional charge, but a large pot of percolated coffee and tea bags should form part of a basic offering for a buffet.

If you want poor service at check-in, management to try turn you away because they don't want you in the room you have paid for, to be threatened by management that its HER RIGHT TO DO ROOM CHECKS AFTER 9PM IF SHE SEES FIT, to then have security bust into your room at 10pm for no reason, and be accused of trashing a room with no evidence by management while security apologise to you for the poor treatment and then be charged a cleaning fee on top of $1500 for the room and $1000 bond, I highly recommend you book the VIP room. It's a night we shall always remember.

The beds are absolutely tiny and they had extra large pillows that hung over the edge of the bed to the point they covered half the bedside tables. We had 4 people but they only supplied 3 towels and 2 water bottles. The pen had no ink in it. The carpet was extremely stained, very thick pile up of dust on the lamp shades in the bathroom and fingerprints all over the sliding window door from bathroom to bedroom. For over $600 they definitely need to clean up the rooms

  • 4/5 Craig F. 4 months ago on Google
Nice hotel and our room had everything you would expect. The dining options were quite expensive - $95ea for the AYCE buffet. A bit surprising given the main purpose of the venue was the casino which would no doubt bring in substantial revenue.

Had a great time. Kids had a ball. Would have like to have adjoining rooms like promised but apparently they don’t have any control over the third party booking companies and what they promos for the price you pay. Like including breakfast which apparently wasn’t included either. So I think maybe having a little control over selling your product via 3 parties would be a good thing. So anyway after a tricky start hubby and I were in separate rooms with kids. Room was nice would like to be able to open a window though, but pool was great. Lovely relaxing pool deck, pool side bar was reasonably priced too. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Valet parking was great but would have been better if it had of come back to you clean :-) lovely break thought the rooms were a bit pricey for what they were but the complex itself was worth it.

Rooms are dirty, parking is deceptive. On the website it said parking undercover is free, saying that if you get a ticket and go to check in with it, they validate and it’s free. Then as you drive into the main entrance and go to the car park with the huge sign that says “hotel guests,” then when you get to check in they tell you that’s “the wrong one” and it’s $25/night. Who else is parking overnight but mostly hotel guests? That’s very deceptive. We had to then get back to the car and tell the guy at the gate through intercom that we parked in the wrong place and luckily we weren’t charged! We then parked about 1 metre down the road where there’s tonnes of free parking, which is where I would have parked in the first place if the website wasn’t so misleading! Just the first of multiple inconveniences. I’ve travelled the world and never have I paid so much for so little! The rooms were dirty and old. Dust on the benches, bed head flaking off from wear and old age, mirrors dirty, floors filthy. After getting over the general dilapidation, you have no time to relax as the rooms are so noisy until after midnight. Being so close to the outside bar area and a thoroughfare from the casinò, there’s no soundproofing. Breakfast at the atrium was entirely our mistake because by now we should have known better about the quality of this place. However, as we were there for a friends wedding event, we met them for breakfast. Coffee was extra and was horrible!! I actually can’t believe that in a place like that, they can’t even get a decent barista! Vic park is just across the road with so many lovely cafes. Def recommend doing yourself a favour and heading anywhere else! I could go on, however let’s just end on- if you’re looking to treat yourself then leave the crown well enough alone! Normally $1009/night for the lux king room on a sat!! We thankfully got a corporate deal and still at $340/night, was an absolutely huge waste of money. Your money would be better spent on luxury like the Ritz, which is actually in the heart of the city with access to the best restaurants and bars, not to mention the new and fancy rooms and pool. Rather than in the middle of nowhere with overpriced restaurants and horrible rooms. Crown, what an epic fail!

Took my partner away for a couple of nights, had a few things that made the stay less comfortable. However the manager was very accommodating and made sure to make things better for that and also future stays with the crown. The dinners and pamper day my partner had were good experinces. Thank you

We stayed at Crown Metro last Friday and we had the best experience checking in with Chris! He was absolutely amazing!! Was so polite and so helpful. Our room wasn’t ready and he upgraded us to another room! Was honestly the best experience with Chris and being my sisters wedding he had our experience so special. Thanks so much Chris!!! You da best!

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. I don’t know where to start. From the disgustingly dirty overpriced rooms to the lack of service and general mediocrity of the place including bars and restaurants. Money could be better spent elsewhere. I’ve never been so excited to check out if a hotel before.

My partner and I stayed at metropol and experienced very little sympathy or help from staff after our car was broken in to. They made us feel like we were a burden. My partners ID wasn’t even returned to him. Checked out a day early. Room was good, food was good. Just expected a bit more sympathy after our car was invaded in their car park.

5 star luxury hotel???? Who are you trying to kid?! Rooms are badly in need of maintenance / refurbishment and a good THOROUGH clean is needed. Basic facilities such as sufficient bathroom products (body wash) and a usb socket is the very least I expect. A toothbrush would have been very handy also. Concierge needs training in customer service / communication skills. I am usually a very patient and accommodating person and not easily upset, however myself and my friend were treated very poorly and the length of time we had to wait for our room to be checked after it was cleaned was unacceptable. And the cleanliness was still not up to standard. 18 coffee/tea stains (yes I counted them) on the side table and lots of drip and spill marks! Carpet worn and filthy and smudge / grime marks on nearly all surfaces. Quite a lot of bird poo on the windows. Again, I expect much better. I doubt that I will be back.

If i could give -5 stars i would. Where do i start, we had a luxury room booked for our 10 year wedding anniversary. With the new government legislation we where concerned regarding the booking. I phoned 3 times and was reassured that you only had to be double vaxed for the gaming floor and the merrywell. We where happy to still go as we had bookings at the Atrium for dinner and also at the rock pool. Now here is where it all turned bad. Firstly we waited to check in for over an hour and a half. We check into our room and it was not clean to a 5 star hotel standard. We could clearly smell that someone was smoking marijuana on our floor. We didnt think it would actually be happening but we smelt this multiple times. The next morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Atrium. On the same day at 6pm we went to have dinner at the Atrium, all of a sudden the rules had changed that i was reassured by 3 crown staff over the phone before checking in that it was only the gaming floor and merrywell where you need to be double vaxed. To our complete dissatisfaction we where denied entry. Amazing that we where sitting in there hours earlier enjoying breakfast. We could not even get a coffee from the bar in the main foyer area in the metropol section. Very funny as we where walking around with the same people that where allowed access to these places as they had been double vaxed. Found staff to be very rude when asking why we where now not allowed access into certain places that we where assured before checking in would be fine. Overall this spoilt our anniversary. Seems that crown managment need to comminacte with there guests in a better way. To finish off a superb few days at crown, when checking out the manager who we communicated our frustrations too had no remorse what so ever. He honestly could not of cared that our time there was a complete waste of time and money. He suggegested that we passed on our feedback via email. All i can say is i will never stay at crown again. Thanks for a fantastic time crown🤬🤬

Stayed at Crown Metropol on 2 January 2022 with my partner. Service was fantastic (as was the food at Nobu) but the room itself left much to be desired. The couch and chair had white stains and the leather head of the bed was terribly scratched up. The breakfast pool food is also very poor (which is surprisingly because the lunchtime menu is generous). What was advertised as a "hashbrowns" for $4 a pop were 3 potato gems. A trip to the internal McDonald's would be a smarter move.

  • 3/5 Ian R. 1 year ago on Google
The room is fantastic, the food options available are superb in presentation and taste, a real treat The service is awesome. The only frustration was the room not being ready, which really impacted our time lines, although a 3pm check is stated, be prepared for 5pm check-in on busy weekends. They seem to soften the blow with access to certain amenities and/or free drinks. It's worth noting outside of masks this was the only inconvenience which seemed Covid connected though it wasn't blamed. All that said we will definitely come back.

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times and never had any issues with the hotel. The rooms are always clean and very spacious and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. We've just had a other lovely night here again after having drinks in the lobby lounge and a beautiful dinner at The Rockpool bar and grill. We love how much choice there is in restaurants and bars and all within a stones throw of each other. I'm always surprised when I read bad reviews especially about the staff as they have always been wonderful when we've stayed here. We'll be back.

Paid $200 each for a Christmas dinner in the buffet area. Coffee not included, tea not included, sparkling water not included. You can get three different types of beer for free. Thanks for being a really responsible alcohol venue. What I would really love is to get my monies worth on beer, and make a great decision to drive home, because I didn’t have an option to “slow down” the food was great, the service was great. A woman named Putu in the dessert section was just lovely. Oh… and we all had to wear masks, (a covid thing) except it seems if you are senior management. After we got the lecture that we had to wear a mask when going up to the buffet by our waitperson, you look over, and a guy with a walkie-talkie and a suit… giving directions to other senior staff… right at the buffet… yep, no mask. We told the waitstaff that we would take our lead from senior management and pointed to the clown. She told us that he was someone from security, like that makes him especially immune from passing on Covid 19 or he was exempt somehow. Over, not really impressed, however, we’d go back.

Currently staying here, actually only checked in an hour ago. So far discovered reception staff are rude. Shower is tiny. Beds are tiny. You pay over $420 a night and they don’t give you any free movies, they are all $17. There are 4 of us and they only supplied 2 bottles of water. If you want faster Internet you are expected to pay another $16. Would absolutely not recommend based off our experience so far. If you want a true luxury hotel that’s actually cheaper stay at QT, 100% better than here. Not to mention I emailed an enquiry in 5 days ago and so far the only reply I have received is a generic one with offers to stay at Crown in Melbourne (I am in Perth), absolutely horrible.

It is a great property with nice rooms with good amenities. The location is superb with plenty of car parking, access to the casino, pool or outdoor exercise such as walking, running or cycling along the river. Romantic weekend or family holiday, this is your place.

Over an hour to check in and thought it was due to NYE but sounds like that’s the normal here so that’s the first reason we wouldn’t go back, surely you could sort something out with that, multi check in options to thin out the line ? Bond requirements need to be made more clear on your booking website or actually written in the email confirmation, had we of know I would have arranged additional funds in time before hand… and we were not the only guests who realised upon arrival I heard multiple people freaking out a little bit, very bizarre they risk people spending less while at Crown or needing to cancel. Sent an email and tried to call them multiple times with no response or answer. Waited half an hour for a drink at poolside when quiet period and the pool was filthy all three days, our room smelt stale and not recently cleaned which is odd considering the COVID sanitising was meant to be amped up, carpet really stained, would it hurt to run a carpet cleaner over it ? Requested some towels/toilet paper to the room multiple times, waited hours. Indoor pool needs an update dirty and old for a 5 star hotel. At checking out told the bond was processed for refund immediately yet the next day when I asked for an invoice from mini bar told it wasn’t finalised yet, then that these charges would come from bond… clearly wasn’t processed then as I was told so staff are deceptive and very rude, looks as those they are trained to be unresponsive and unhelpful unless they’ve all lost the will for life while working there ? Food was good, bed comfy = 1 star.

Stay in this hotel is always good. Good size of bath and comfy bed. I had a breakfast at atrium restaurant. I like they open from 6:30am. I think they used to have more variety of food but they are still good.

Spend your money at the Ritz Carlton instead. Don’t waste your time here. Customer service big fat 0 out of 10. Asian lady walked past me 5 times at the bar and didn’t serve me. In the Ritz I was treated like gold.

Check in took around 20 minutes. I was advised during check in that I needed to hand over a $500 cash deposit because I only have a debit credit card. Apparently this was in the fine print when I booked online (it definitely wasn't obvious when booking otherwise I would have been prepared). The decor of the room was quite dated with a large vomit stain on the carpet (although it had been cleaned). Wallpaper was coming off the walls. Both beds were ridiculously uncomfortable - one with audible *boing* noises from the springs when you so much as looked at it. The walls are paper thin so you can hear the people next door and people walking past your room. The building is lit up at night time which looks lovely from East Perth, but try sleeping in a room with everchanging coloured lighting when the curtains don't meet at the corner. We also had a picturesque view of the car park. My sons and I ended up checking out at midnight and went home as none of us could get comfortable in the beds and the noise was just too much. All in all this was an incredibly disappointing visit and we will not be returning.

Enjoyable staycation with our 2 young toddlers. Excellent room, service and food. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool was great for the kids. Indoor play area was a bit disappointing it doesn't really reflect the photo on the website. It'd be nice if it could be improved with additional new toys. Overall it was a great stay for our family and we highly recommend.

Amazing. From start to finish it was truly awesome. We went there for the weekend for my graduation celebrations and my partner and I had the most memorable weekend. Staff, facilities, rooms, food were all so incredible. Absolutely fantastic.

Just go back from a 1 nights stay 27th January and here's the low down: Room Cost: $460 per night (include Valet parking, breakfast, $100 room credit and 12pm checkout) Arrival: Valet parking was fantastic - brilliant and easy service. Check-in: What a joke. it took 45 mins in a massive long queue of about 40 people. The check-in service is soooooooo slow. The staff seem very un-organized or their computer system is not suitable. You need to look at this!!! Rooms: Our room was nice in appearance, the bed was very comfortable. The carpet was very grotty and needed replacement or a really good clean. The shower space is very small. Air cond is good and there was a good selection of channels on tv and fox. The noise is quite obvious from the hallway and other surrounding rooms. Pool: It must be obvious to the staff and management that there is not enough pool lounges for guests. So instead of providing more, they would rather charge for mostly un-used cabanas that take up room for otherwise more pool lounges. There were numerous guests lying on the ground. Disgraceful really. Breakfast: Again a massive line and a 30min wait to be seated. Another really slow check-in system and seating arrangement in place. The breakfast selection and taste was very good. Other: When I went to pay the bill, they didn't provide the $100 credit for our room and I had to convince them it was included. Lucky I printed my check-in reservation. Check-out: Our Wifi and room key's didn't work after 10am (normal checkout time) despite having a late checkout time of 12pm, as part of our room package. Overall: Quite disappointing considering the price. Service lets this place down. I wouldn't return. To the management - walk around and see the people waiting, whatever your systems are, they are not working = change!!

Hmm sad to see this place become so bad!! Room is average bed is very comfortable decent size. Other than that I have stayed in less rated hotels that are better and you at least get complimentary water. Apparently tap water is all we need and forget the usual shower cap, ear buds, toothbrush! I had to ask if any are available and only toothbrush and paste is. Pool areas isn’t as big as I thought but it definitely is a place to be if you have kids as towers would be a little boring for them. I suppose I simply expected more being part of crown.

Love a stay at the Crown Metropol. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, room service was quick and polite. Check in was easy and the staff are very friendly, valet parking can be a bit pricey but was worth it on these hot summer days! The atrium buffet breakfast was delicious and just so many options! Love the vibe of this place.

Modern hotel with spacious luxurious neat rooms with wonderful view to Optus Stadium. 24 hours room service with very polite staff. Food quality was wonderful even for a late dinner at 11pm. Definitely suggest this hotel, particularly in summer, then you could use its pool.

Got to the hotel a couple of hours before check in and fair enough, room not ready. However... they left us waiting 30mins PAST check in to get a room though and the next day the room card stopped working after midday... Apparently 'my phone wiped the card'. We were denied bringing drinks to our room too... Aside from that and the time it took to sort the room issues, the room itself and the facilities are great.
