1/5 Paris Du C. 7 months ago on Google
I
booked
Crown
Towers
for
mine
and
my
partners
anniversary
with
the
impression
that
everything
would
be
top
tier,
though
it
was
far
from.
As
we
checked
in,
we
had
a
view
of
the
car
park
and
requested
a
room
upgrade
which
was
$60
per
night,
that
was
fine,
we
agreed
to
pay
that.
As
we
got
to
the
next
room,
everything
appeared
to
be
great.
We
stayed
our
first
night
and
the
next
morning,
a
piece
of
my
jewellery
dropped
beside
the
bedside
table
and
upon
my
retrieval,
there
was
an
empty
condom
wrapper
that
had
been
left
there.
To
add
to
the
list,
there
were
stains
on
two
of
the
pillows
that
we
had
just
slept
on.
I
was
appalled
to
say
the
least,
I
felt
like
we
had
just
slept
in
a
dirty
bed.
On
top
of
this,
when
we
went
to
make
a
coffee
in
the
morning,
there
were
no
mugs
or
spoons
which
tells
me
that
the
room
hadn’t
be
throughly
cleaned
or
maybe
not
even
at
all.
I
called
guest
services
and
spoke
to
a
lady,
in
which
I
requested
the
room
to
be
cleaned
and
she
agreed,
there
was
no
apology
or
anything.
I
called
again
as
I
wasn’t
happy
with
the
response
and
a
different
lady
answered
and
was
incredibly
apologetic,
and
said
the
duty
manager
will
be
involved
and
said
we
would
be
moved
rooms
and
told
me
to
keep
my
phone
on
me
as
I
will
expecting
another
call.
In
which
I
did,
I
got
call
from
different
lady
asking
me
to
restate
my
complaint
again
and
her
response
was
“did
you
notice
or
check
any
of
these
things
when
you
checked
in”
why
would
I
check
the
cleanliness
of
a
5
star
hotel?
For
Crown
Towers,
I
expected
an
immaculate
room.
I
then
got
another
call
from
reception
regarding
my
complaint,
we
then
spoke
face
to
face,
she
was
very
apologetic
and
told
me
that
this
isn’t
the
standard
for
Crown
Towers,
and
offered
my
partner
and
I
breakfast
free
of
charge
and
took
the
firsts
nights
room
upgrade
charge
off
as
well
(which
was
$60)
she
also
said
to
send
her
the
photos
I
took
so
she
could
send
them
to
a
duty
manager
-
I
asked
again
if
it
was
possible
to
be
moved
she
then
said
if
I
still
felt
uncomfortable
that
she
would
only
be
able
to
move
us
after
12pm
as
that’s
when
check
out
was,
but
I
disagreed
and
we
kept
the
same
room,
I
requested
that
while
we
were
out
that
the
bed
linen
and
the
bathroom
linen
be
changed
and
everything
to
be
disinfected,
in
which
it
was.
All
though
these
were
very
nice
gestures,
I
believe
that
this
was
incredibly
disgusting
to
say
the
least
that
this
room
that
cost
us
over
$1000
wasn’t
cleaned
adequately
before
our
arrival.
After
everything
had
been
sorted,
we
decided
to
order
room
service
and
I
asked
if
they
could
provide
a
bowl
of
strawberries
with
a
side
of
chocolate
dipping
sauce
in
which
the
chef
agreed,
I
misunderstood
the
price
on
the
phone
because
when
the
man
arrived
to
my
room,
he
showed
me
the
bill
for
$48
for
one
bowl
of
strawberries
and
one
small
bowl
of
chocolate
dipping
sauce!!!
They
weren’t
even
cut
up!
I
asked
why
it’s
that
price
and
he
said
“probably
because
its
not
a
menu
item
and
the
chef
didn’t
really
want
to
make
it,
or
chef
complained
about
it
so
it’s
just
that
price”
if
you
didn’t
want
to
prepare
the
item,
a
simple
redirection
back
to
the
menu
items
listed
would’ve
sufficed.
I
did
sign
the
bill
and
paid
because
that
is
what
I
wanted,
but
how
can
you
charge
$48
for
something
like
that,
something
that
wouldn’t
even
taken
5
minutes
to
put
together.
The
hot
tub
filters
in
the
pool
area
were
full
of
black
mould
and
so
was
the
overflow
on
our
bath
and
probably
everywhere
else
if
nothing
is
even
been
cleaned
properly.
On
a
positive
note,
the
service
from
valet
was
good,
breakfast
and
drinks
at
Epicuren
and
dinner
at
the
Atrium
were
beautiful,
great
service
from
all
three
areas.
I
wish
better
for
those
who
wish
to
stay
with
Crown
in
the
future,
I
believe
I
will
not
return.
I
had
been
recommended
Crown
for
their
outstanding
and
award
winning
services
but
I
was
left
feeling
super
disappointed
and
devastated
that
this
will
be
the
memory
for
our
anniversary.
Such
an
overrated
hotel.
Do
I
recommend?
Not
at
all,
$1300
wasted.
