I'm an international student in Perth. I have been staying in this place for the past few months. This is the worst place to choose from. My things are getting stolen every day. The cameras are not working at all. When I complained this to the manager and higher-ups, they are paying no attention to it at all. The rooms are so tiny and is not worth the price. The kitchen is always so messy and they have taken away the freezer facility too. Whoever is coming to Perth I recommend not to choose this place.

Don't ever stay here!. It was my first time travelling alone. My booking was confirmed. I was due to arrive 5 minutes after closing, I called them 20 minutes before closing to let them know I'll be arriving, they didn't answer. When I arrived the "emergency " staff was rude, had no idea what to do and extremely unhappy I had pulled her from her room. The refused to check Me in and left me sitting on the side of the road in the dark with no place to go. I'd give then negative stars if it was an option

I am a student who’s been staying at Beatty Lodge for the last 5 months. Coming to Perth for the first time, I had no idea of how my stay would turn out to be, however, having chosen Beatty Lodge as my accommodation was the right choice. This was an extremely comfortable place with all the needs for a student. I stayed in the 3 bed room and the room was comfortable. The showers, kitchen and toilets were very clean and maintenance was great, with daily rounds of cleaning. Last, but not the least, the staff were great. Skye is a kind and great manager with a great attitude. I would definitely recommend Beatty Lodge as a student accommodation for incoming students.

I am a student and this place has provided me with excellent amenities. The rooms are in great condition, the bathrooms and showers are clean, the kitchens are well-maintained and stocked with lots of utensils. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly, especially the manager, Skye. Skye is incredibly helpful and friendly. She has answered all my questions concisely and very fast. She keeps the dorm itself clean and well-kept. Overall, this student accommodation is amazing especially for international students.

I stayed here as an international student. It was my very first stay abroad, but I found the hostel manager to be so accommodating, friendly and warm where I was feeling comfortable to be. I like how staffs are available to handle any issues it could happen. I'd say it was a nice choice to have chosen it as a first place to stay in Perth.

Separate dorms for males and females are great but on some levels the toilets are on the opposite sides for some reason. Parking is only available for high priced rooms but if you're there on a weekend there's space across the road near the pool. Friendly service but it's an older complex now.

Studying in a foreign country is quite a big change but Skye and the Beatty team made the transition seamless with a very approachable and helpful team. They make it easy for us adjust living away from home. Lucky to have found this place while studying here. I found a caring and supporting team, clean and helpful amenities and a family away from home. Thank you so much!

Cheap price but dated and smelly room, and dodgy people around. We left the same day even if we booked for 4 nights. Despite that, the guy at the reception was very nice, and the hostel manager reached out and made sure to help us. I appreciated that.

Was expecting a lot Better The rooms are dark and dingy Lighting is bad No heating And states free wifi but needs a special code And by the time we came back to counter the counter was shut so no wifi for us either

I have been here for 3 months as international student. It is very comfortable lodge to live in. They even prepare prayer room for muslim. It has a big kitchen with complete cooking utensils, my room is also cleaned regularly, change our towel every week, and big laundry room. It is close to the bus stop, only took 10 minutes to go to the city. The manager and the other staff is also nice. She took care of us. Best hospitality I ever had.

I highly recommend this place for any Student that is looking for accommodation! The facilities are amazing and great value for money! Skye the hostel manager also stayed late as we arrived in Perth later than expected to ensure we were checked in and happy. Very welcoming and great vibe!

We had the pleasure of staying at Beatty Lodge with 22 students from Japan, all age 16-17 for 1 week in December. I would say that Beatty Lodge was a fantastic place for us to stay and has a great set up for students and school groups for the following reasons: - All shared facilities, including showers, toilets, and kitchen are cleaned daily and well maintained. - The rooms are nice and a good size. - The private kitchen available for school groups was nice to have as well. Skye, the manager, brings the warm the warm and friendly atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience. I have been living here for three months as an international students. The service is very nice. They clean the room once a week. They provide complete cooking tools and dining room for guests. It is not far from the city, there is a bus stop nearby. They also provide prayer room for Muslim. Moreover, the price is very reasonable for the service and quality.

Nice accommodation. Highly recommended for students. I stayed at the lodge for 3 months and it was very comfortable. They provide kitchen and dining utensils all included as the facility there. The bathroom is clean and the room is neat. Microwave is also provided. The lodge location is very strategic and it only took 10 minutes or less to get to the city by bus, only 3 minutes of walk to get to the bus stop from the lodge. The lodge also has laundry room. The washing machine cost $4 and the dryer $3. Iron is provided for free at the laundry room. Lastly, the lodge manager, Skye is very helpful and nice. Thank you Beatty Lodge.

I had initially planned to stay for a few weeks but I extended my stay for almost two months as I have gotten most of my research work done in the room provided to me, and at the backyard space. I am an international student studying in Australia for a short course. Staying at Beatty Lodge was very comfortable with various facilities that met my needs. Because it is cleaned by the housekeeper every week, the room I live in is very comfortable. The toilets and shower rooms are always cleaned. Skye the manager, Bill, and other staffs are always there when I needed them. They helped me out with everything, even the smallest thing. The location of this place itself is not far from the city center and is very strategic. In addition, there are lots of restaurants, convenience stores, and other shops which I can access with just a few minutes walk.

Excellent value for money. Rooms are neat and tidy, toilet and shower facilities great. The shared kitchen/dining area is very accomodating as well. Everyone staying that we’ve spoken to are lovely, overall good vibe and top it off Skye is amazing. Any way she can help she will. Thanks for the great experience.

Nice clean but very plain rooms

I give one star for the cheap price. The service was VERY rude at reception. I just got back to Perth after 3 weeks away working. I had a valid driver's licence & my fiancé had a WA photo ID. Our booking was cancelled & I didn't get a refund, all because my fiancé didnt have a driver's licence on her, at the time. (Just a valid WA photo card with licence number on it.) We were forced to sleep in my car for the night. We just wanted to have a nice bed to sleep in after working away for 3 weeks.

I went to check in with my son and they would not accept his West Australian Learners Permit or Australian Passport as identification. Both have his photo and he is over 18. They said they would only accept either a West Australian Drivers license or overseas ( not Australian ) passport. I tried to explain that a learners permit is a drivers license but not joy. I asked to speak to someone else in charge and they said no, rules are rules.

My week stay in a private room was bearable. The room and building felt very much like a boarding school. In my room was a relatively comfy bed, a desk and chair, wall mount tv and some shelves for my gear. The pool is a good feature however due to the design of the building the pool temp is mainly cold (be great mid summer). My biggest issue was with the kitchen. Plates and cutlery are available for hire and there is minimal cooking utensils and basic pots and pans. There also seems to be a plumbing issue as the kitchen floor drain was blocked and overflowing. Great staff though who kept facilities cleaned daily. I did not interact much with other guests here, not the kind of people I felt comfortable getting to know. My overall review is that there are better places for less or same price if you look.

Excellent for family. We stay here with a 7 years old kid for 4 weeks. We booked triple private room that is enough private space for small family. We got everything we need such as private car park, tidy kitchen, clean toilet and swimming pool. Feel secured since no unauthorised person can get in without key card. Housekeeper did great job to keep the common area clean everyday and we was provided room service once a week. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Specially thanks for the help from Anthony.

I’m a long term quest at Beatty Lodge and it’s been great. It’s a nice and quiet place to stay with clean toilets and spacious kitchen. Anthony and Skye at the reception are really helpful and go beyond their way to take care of their quests. Also the swimming pool is nice at summer. I think Beatty lodge is great quality for affordable price and I would recommend staying here.

I am a long term guest and I just find it comfortable here. It’s close to work, It’s clean, it’s close to the city and it’s not like the usual hostels I have stayed at. Its affordable and the staff are always helpful if you need anything. I would recommend to anyone backpacker or not to come and stay here.

What you see on the Photos is what you get, great service from the tall lady and the Asian man. Booked this for my interns, good rooms, no foul smell, amenities was all there. only note that is you cant go out the back door. Nonetheless value for price is 10/10

Staff super friendly and helpful! I didn't notice that the check in time was closing at 6pm I arrived at 19.30, after a very long and unlucky day, and I realized that I booked my stay for another day. The manager was very understanding, she changed my booking and checked me in! Thank you so much! The place is basic however is cheap and clean! Located in a quiet residential area 15 min walking distance from north bridge and the city. I'll definately come back next time in perth.

I've been living here for about 6 months while on FIFO RnR, I find the staff very friendly, helpful and understanding. Specially Sky. Everything pretty clean and tidy compared with others hostels. Also very close to CBD. One issue I see is that there’s no many kitchen utensils, well there’s a lot but pretty used. Perfect for fifo workers!

Stayed here as a student, Staffs were very friendly, rooms are not big but comfortable to sleep, got a very nice swimming pool (Cleaned periodically), have kitchen, with various utensils ready to use. Very clean lodge. Overall very nice to live at as a students :)
