Insane Additional Covid Policy - I've just mad a reservation and had them call and ask me to cancel b/c I'm coming from Queensland and they have their own policy stating "a) none of us were outside Western Australia on any day within the 14 days prior to check-in" - How can anyone visit WA and stay here without being somewhere else in the last 14 days? What a joke. I'll never stay there. Covid fail.

Great location and very helpful staff. Rooms could use an update but everything was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

We would not recommend these apartments. When we arrived we were notified that the carpet in front of the couch had been cleaned that day. The couch, and the area in front of it were all wet and all we could smell were the chemicals from the cleaning product. The sheets on the spare bed had dirt marks on them. I have stayed at many back packers that were in a much better condition then this place. The smell from the chemicals really made the room unsleepable in and thought it was very average of the hotel manager giving in to a family with two young children. Find somewhere else to stay!

It's by the Swan River so absolutely great view! Lots of restaurants nearby so food is not an issue. But you have the full kitchen inside the apartment so you can stay in instead and cook. Room is spacious and clean.

Rooms clean but dated , beds very small , reception lady seems to be looking for an argument, WIFI is terribly slow, tried online checkin for my flight the next day but failed due to WIFI speed being so slow.

Convenient location and excellent service! There’s food in the area and getting to the city is just a 5min drive. The view coming out from the driveway is pretty great too. We enjoyed our time here!

The rooms are ok but not great. The lady at the front counter finds it difficult to smile and will take issue with anything she can so beware. Great location. Laundry around the corner takes card and cheaper than onsite laundry.

Clean rooms, friendly reception and staff, convenient to walk around. Free parking if you come back early in the evening, outside street parking need tickets from 8 am

Everything was great until some random man stole our parking lot in the front carpark and we had to park in the back carpark which was very very troublesome but there was only one toilet per room so we had to take turns

I chose a courtyard apartment this time, we come here regularly, but never again! We had 2 lots of balconies above us and therefore we had cigarette ash everywhere. I had to clean the outdoor table and chairs and pavers this morning before I could go out there and then the smell of cigarette smoke was so bad, I had to come back inside. I chose the courtyard so I could relax out there! Very disappointed.

Overpriced. The apartment size is really small and guests using the second bedroom need to go through the main bedroom to access the toilet. Toaster sets off smoke alarm even with an open door

Amazing service and facilities on the South Perth foreshore. The best thing about it is the tranquility, spacious units and there is an original arcade game which has space invafers on it, in the guest lounge! Not to mention the coffee machine and the fab deals on stays. Highly recommend.

After having problems checking into out other accommodation we decided to instead try stay at the peninsular and were very happy with the end result ! The staff were friendly and co-operative and help to get us a place to stay on such short notice. As the name suggests the suites are serviced and sheets and towels replaced on the daily. Clean and friendly establishment with an amazing view of Perth city from the south shore !

Great location: a quiet place close to public transport, restaurants, cafΓ©s and grocery store. You can have a nice walk along the Swan river or you can get to the CBD by bus in just 10 minutes. Our flat was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

1 Star is way too generous for the peninsula riverside serviced apartments, it is a pity Google does not offer Minus 5 Stars which is the rating I would give this place. The elevator broke down and upon check out (days later) it was still broken. High-speed wireless broadband I think not, as the internet followed the lift's willingness to live/work and stopped working altogether. Thank goodness for 5G on my phone which was the only way to any my work done. Apartments are very, very tired, spartan, and in need of serious renovation and/or simply rebuilding. They charge a premium for these so-called 'self-contained apartments' but they simply do not reflect the quality you would expect for the prices charged. Water in the shower pooled and did not drain properly. The air conditioner on the wall in the so-called 'lounge' did not cool the apartment as there was only one unit bolted to the wall. Pictures on their website I believe are taken in 1974 (when the apartments were first built) and possibly, allegedly could still be used on their website today or not, you be the judge. Overall Minus 5 Stars for the Peninsula Riverside Serviced Apartments. So if you want an antiquated apartment, a lift broken for days, the internet not working, or extremely 'friendly' customer service who are more than willing to help you by all means book yourself in, and good luck!

My partner and I stayed here a few weeks back. On the evening of our arrival, I was surprised to be met with a COVID declaration that had to be signed, which seemed ridiculous, I thought we were beyond that, but Riverside has not caught up with the times. The lady at the front counter did not make the check in process inviting, and questioned how it was possible that we had no residential address (we were moving from interstate), which I had to explain to her. The room was adequate, but beyond that would be a stretch. We stayed in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom suite, but it was rather small and dated. The paint could do with a freshen up, and the lighting is something from the early 90s that was meant to ooze luxury, but now it just looks very dim, and ages the room. Downlights would do a world of wonders to brighten up the spaces. Honestly, the whole place felt like a retirement village, there was handrails in the shower and toilet, which diminished the space in the shower, additionally the cheap conversion from individual taps in the shower to a mixer, made the space smaller again. I am not a big person, but when I turned in the shower, I either elbowed it to cold or off. If 2 of you need to shower and get ready in the morning, don't plan on both of you having hot showers. The hot water service is tiny, and does not take long to run out, and neither of us have long showers. The room wasn't very clean either, the toilet had ants on the floor, there was long black hair on the floor and the roof of the shower (we are both blonde so it wasn't ours) and the drain in the floor between the toilet and the wall was gross. Make sure you read the signs in the room when you get there, you'll get little surprises like; it's a $30 surcharge if you leave any dishes in the kitchen. The complimentary in room wifi was good for watching Netflix. For those intending to stay a little longer, there is an onsite laundry, but its not in your room, its not complimentary, and its not cheap! Its coin operated! Whilst they have a fresh supply of coins at reception, there is a laundromat around the corner under the 24hr IGA that is a bit more modern, takes eftpos and even has its own app (take note!). This was the first time staying anywhere where I have had to pay to use a laundry (not a laundry service) and it's $7 a load as well. If you use the onsite parking beware, there is a small sign you might not notice, your car might end up covered, and I mean covered, in bird sh!t! We had a rental, and it was washed before it was returned otherwise I would have been embarrassed. Overall, the room was okay, the location was absolutely fantastic, and the ladies that were at reception when I checked out were really lovely and super accommodating with our mountain of luggage. For a couple of nights where you want location, its great, but I will not be staying again.

The room was pretty much what you'd expect ... clean business like, nothing outstanding not anything below par. Maybe slightly higher price for what you get compared to other capital cities, probably a hangover from the now faded mining book with its desperate shortage of accommodation in Perth. But the balcony area was great. Cold, stormy weather when I was there but I could still feel hope great out would be during a sunset, sitting out there and sipping a favorite drink. That red sky reflecting off the Swan River water, city skyline behind, the lights slowly becoming visible as the night blooms!

Very nice place to stay. It's a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The cleaning staff are also really nice and friendly to. The location is good with it being close to the Perth Zoo and asl a short walk to the Ferry, which goes to Perth on a short trip

Great spot to stay on South perth Foreshore. Rooms are a little dated but nothing to worry about once you step outside to the amazing view. Everything is close by and great walking paths right outside. Staff lovely and welcoming. Vouchers to local restaurants are also included. Definitely will be back.

Location perfect, Perth river is in front. Also got free parking, so very good. Our friend stayed in larger suite (those ones got amazing views), but we pay less for smaller service apartment and still very happy. Will come back with friends again next time.

Fabulous location..awesome outlook...lovely river walks across the road...great to sit & watch the sunset too...Also very handy to departure point for City Ferry and actually a relatively easy walk across the bridge to the city too. ...Off road parking & very easy vehicle access to both North & South Freeways as well.... Apartment was very well presented... equipped with all items necessary to ensure you are fully self-contained if you wish..though there is a lovely variety of eating venues just a two minute walk away and also Supermarkets within 3kms. Lovely friendly staff....daily room service wonderful. Complimentary coffee & snacks.in a lovely guests lounge room too ...a super welcome & so nice if you arrive early for check in... We WILL be back...
