Today after a long ride, I arrived in that motel for checkin. This was already booked and paid as this motel is taking your money before you arrive for the full stay without a possibility to cancel. I was tired and happy to get a room even if the location far from everything was disappointing. Especially since the restaurant advertised on the site was not functional. On the spot the person of the reception refused my payment that was already done and confirmed by the bank and canceled my reservation. Facing of my exasperation, she threatened to call the police. Never any discussion or listening on the part of the staff of this establishment made it possible to resolve the problem. I had to face the contempt and bad faith of the staff of this establishment. moreover it quickly appeared that this motel could not guarantee a parking space that its location had been greatly exaggerated and that the services put forward did not work. I can only urge you to avoid this place.

Let's start with the good... Great location, plenty of parking in a secured compound, reasonable price, friendly staff. Now with the bad... The rooms need renovation. The lighting and walls looked outdated. The carpet looked old. The bathroom door had rust and water damage. On arrival I saw police operations in one of the units. I suspect there were drugs involved. The place got very noisy at night. A couple was screaming profanities at the top of their lungs at each other for an hour or so and then lots of heavy footsteps and slamming of doors all night till early hours in the morning. Not sure if I could recommend this place to my friends as it was at such a good location but it did feel safe to bring family to stay here.

If I could give less I would. Rooms smelt of mould and cigarettes, door lock was busted and we felt very unsafe, with people shouting and carrying on. This was 2pm not 2am. Nothing like the photos or description. We left immediately and found another place to stay. Would be a nice gesture to refund half of the $171 we were charged for 1 night. Cannot fathom how they charge this amount.

Some may find the decor dated, but I didn't care. Bed was super comfortable, air conditioning was mint, had a bar fridge for your drinks and the shower pressure was perfect. Everything you could ask for and more in a great location without the ridiculous price tag. Thankyou so much. Will definitely stay again.

We expected little and have been very impressed each time we return. New ownership with Vetroblu and renovated. We are currently staying each week for 7 weeks. From the staff at the front desk to cleaning staff they have all been so helpful with each stay. It’s clean, convenient, free parking, laundry facilities, wifi, fridge, microwave, kettle, great shower, value for money. Bellavista is downstairs, convenient and delicious. Wellington Park is beautiful across the road, great park for kids. We will definitely be back and have never felt so welcome. Thank you 😊😊

Reception staff treat the guest like criminal. They should be more polite. I took one of our staff to the hotel and the lady told me that they are fully booked. Then I had a look online and there were rooms available. I booked online and took him in. The lady asked personal questions like "are you smoking?". It's non of her business as long as the guest aware that it's a non smoking building. If the guest breaches it, then you can take action. You guys have to learn how to treat people. Be nice and it doesn't cost a cent.

The buildings have been here a while but still hold some quality. The concrete brick walls ensure a quiet stay, and the floor plan gives a feel of a larger unit. As it is a larger motel there will always be a contingent of less than desirable guests but still felt safe. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Older building, but clean and comfortable. Great value for the price. 3 minutes walk to the Yellow CAT bus stop and 10 minutes walk to Claisebrook station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Great little motel- it is located close to the hospital, shopping centres, bus stops, train stations, optus stadium, Perth arena. The staff are friendly and helpful, beds are comfy and the showers have great pressure. The car park didn't have any spots near our room and the parks are small, but for a little motel it probably isn't an issue. Great playground/water park/park across the road. Edit: I visited again and they have rebounded to VetroBlu or something, and this time the people came into my room each day. I assume to service the room, but I was not told about this and I did not like it. The second day I had put the paper DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door but still came back to my towels replaced, things on the bed moved, and my floor mat slung over the shower rail. I probably wouldn't have minded had I known in advance, but the first time I didn't know it would happen, and the second I thought I had stopped it from happening. Overall not a bad thing, just not what I expected.

The Stuff was nice and welcoming. The room was decorated lovely with new furniture. In the room we had a lot of kitchen staff. Plates, glasses, ect. It really was amazing. Down the street we found a litte cafe espresso perk u later where we got marvelous coffee and breakfast. It think it is the best place to stay in perth in that price range

I stayed here for three nights. The room was clean and had everything I required. A short walk to the Perth Mint. Close to Claisebrook Station. The East Perth location initially appeared to be a bit rough (compared to other parts of Perth city). Friendly staff. A great motel.

Bella Vista as good as ever. 3 in our party of 11 had the 🌶 mussels and 3 had spaghetti marinara. Our favourites did not disappoint after 15 years..not a morsel was left. Although they recently won the gold plate for best pizza in Perth again, we saved that for another time. Gelato was enjoyed by most and the pannacotta had just the right wobble.

Best value for motel style accommodation in Perth. Large rooms located very close to the city centre. Great for an overnight stay on a budget.

We always feel like we are bothering the receptionists who are cold and very unpleasant which is a shame as the motel is well placed and the rooms are spotless. The only downside is the reception which is more than bad !

The room had a very bad smell on our arrival at the hotel. We booked the room at a lower price but when we got there, we had to pay $25 extra. We don't recommend staying there.

We were booked overnight to stay in this hotel for one night in June 2021 ahead of a trip on the Indian Pacific the next day. When we arrived in Perth we became part of a new catch and release Covid prevention program which meant we had to get PRC tested and isolate until the results were received. We advised the hotel reception this was the case on check in and from then on they treated us as though we were violently contagious. We got the Covid check but the results only came in at 1pm next day meaning we missed the train. We asked management if we could extend our stay to fulfill isolation requirements, they refused saying the hotel was full. Booking were still available online. We had to get police permission to move to the Quest East Perth, thank heavens we got it because we ended up staying a week there afer our negative results and it was fabulous. We left this place via a back gate -- on reception instructions -- and were happy to go. We had a ground floor room which was dingy and seemed not so well cleaned. If you are going to run a motel keep the rooms welcoming and be on top of what regulations mean. Don't stay there.

The reason why I chose this motel is comparably cheap price. However room is stench, facilities are not hygiene like electric kettle. But pressure of tap water, kindness of reception staff was good.

Friendly and helpful staff. The motel provides excellent value for money in its location so close to the centre of Perth. We liked the secure parking setup.

Great location, within walking distance to RPH which is great. Clean rooms, standard rates for a budget room with everything you need, washing and dryer facility available too which is very convenient. The free parking is also very convenient. I found the staff to be really friendly and accommodating, the cleaning ladies are always happy to see you and very kind.

Cannot open any windows for fresh air. No shampoo or conditioner, no room service, no table or chairs to have breakfast for money paid very disappointing and paper thin walls for noise

Rooms were clean but very dated. Sink was blocked. TV did not even have any channels. For what they charge I would have excpected a bit more invested back in the business. Young reception guy was very blant and unfriendly. Have you ever heard of service with a smile?

  • 2/5 Darren L. 1 year ago on Google
The room wasn’t serviced all week, the carpet smells, blankets not washed, wifi poor, staff wouldn’t allow food deliveries, connecting doors wafer thin and one can hear everything being discussed next door. The car park is inadequate for the number of rooms. The pool has been taken out of service. Rated 2 out of 5.

Although quite basic, the room and the general site were clean and maintained, and the addition of secure parking was a real bonus. Would stay again

Good location, basic rooms but hey a long stay would be economical as you only need a place to sleep....right?

everything was great. had a nice room until they unexpectedly moved us in the middle of our stay at 8:00am to a much smaller, worse room, which we were not advised would happen. even worse, it seemed to be connected to another one where someone else was staying, only separated by a door in between us where you can hear your neighbours. no reimbursement. do not recommend! we’ve also just discovered they havent cleaned the bathroom they moved us to. disgusting.
