Great night at the civic with good food and drinks! They do a raffle on a Friday night, first prise was a meat tray, the second $50 voucher and third prize $25 voucher. I had the cheeseburger and it was delicious! Will definitely be back!!

Friendly staff and ideal for a beer and a parmigiana. However, other meals are really disappointing. Chicken caesar was just lettuce leaves in a dressing with popcorn chicken. Kids burger was burnt. For the price you pay, ingredients are sub-par, and the kitchen has lost their way.

Great food. Loved the parmi’s they make. Accidentally broke a glass tonight and they were completely understanding over it. Brought a pup with us as well and they offered water and a treat for her. Was really sweet and unique to see. Good customer service. Cheers guys!

I and several of my teenage students had an awesome night out at the Jazz Club of WA weekly event at the Civic to check out those shiny, delicious-sounding horns! Oh, and the delicious hot chips of course. A pleasant, safe and welcoming environment for those children to have their very first live jazz experience.

Wow…must be new owners as this pub has really improved from the doldrums its been stuck in for years. The food was fresh, tasty and well priced. Wth heaps of parking, inside or outside seating and smiling staff members we will definitely be back again for more Friday lunches. Go back and see the new Civic for yourself if you haven’t been for a while.

We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks at the Civic Hotel last night. I loved being able to order a large wine that only costs $11 and was of decent quality too! Our meals were very delicious as well (we ordered the steak and cheeseburger) and were also very reasonably priced. This unpretentious venue is a gem and we look forward to coming back for a music gig in a month's time.

I thought that we would head down to the local to have a traditional counter meals , pub grub, out of the 10 meals that took over 1 h 4 minute to come 2 meals distant arrive. We asked at the bar and was told that they only have one cook on and he was busy. The meal that I ordered rump well done was pink. Very poor standard of meals I could not recommend the civic . Never again.

Easy check out ,nice staffs, public transport in front of the building, our room with kettles, fridge ,microwave, coffee and tea. balcony with a table two chairs. toilet has some drain flies. But should put bleach into drain after cleaning. free parking, pub, restaurant , near bottle’s shop, Coles supermarket and pharmacy.

Disappointed in the quality of food. How do you burn a chicken pamri?? That deserves a beer at least. Maybe the head cook (as surely the chef is out the back smoking joints or has the night off) needs to run quality control prior to sending out meals.

A very old hotel reminiscent with the war years. While sharing lunch with a Social Group I was fortunate to meet/ chat with a delightful lady who previously had ties with the hotel sharing stories of the dances they had during the war years. The staff were obliging and happy to help. Their soup of the day was tasty and everyone in the group enjoyed their lunch. 😊

Ticks all the boxes of the classic neighbourhood pub. Great bar food and snacks. Great wine and beer pours. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Never disappoints. Table QR code ordering system available.

Have stayed here twice now and can't complain. Rooms are clean, tidy and spacious although it seems a popular watering hole and you can hear the chatter well after midnight. Food was reasonable and staff always seem to be friendly and helpful especially after the issue first time checking in which was resolved nicely. Great accom for the price and location

Had a great night at the Civic, will definitely be back. The service and food were great. Drinks are well priced. Perfect spot to watch the footy with some friends.

Dropped in for a quick refreshment after a long ride and noticed pizza on Mondays was 12 dollars, so got myself a nice sunny spot out the front and enjoyed the day. Cold beer, great pizza and plenty of sitting areas inside or outside.

We chose the Civic Hotel private function room for our daughter's 21st birthday party and had the best time! The staff were all great from the time we booked right up to the event, very helpful and accommodating, the space was perfect size for 60-70 guests and everyone was impressed with the catering and bar service. We had our own Bar Tender for the evening, Kieran, who looked after our every need, he offered great advice to ensure the smooth running of our daughter's 21st, he even kept working through his break when we needed him - thank you Kieran, the Civic are lucky to have you :)

Great teams get a shout out. I was filling time with my daughter before girl guides. We thought a pool game and a cold drink could do it. I was trying to use my phone to by a drink and take out the $2 for the pool. It did not work so the bar staff just flipped me the $2. Just a gold coin but it speaks for the attitude of the team. Wow.

I went to the Civic yesterday for my birthday dinner and drinks and all the staff and Amanda were very friendly, welcoming and great service. The pepper sauce is out of this world, I can honestly say I have never had anything like it before, and the chicken schnitzel was so good. I will definitely be going back and especially for steak night to have that pepper sauce again. Keep up the great work

Well haven't been to this establishment for quite a few years. The staff have changed, obviously, they were a tentative, as well as friendly and helpful. Wasn't quite impressed with the menu, there wasn't a great selection to choose from, my meal was fine but somebody in the small group that i was in had the fish and chips, most of it was left due to the oil that was oozing from the fish, i could have done an oil change on my car with the amount of oil that everything was floating in. The band room hasn't changed much, but there is a new door to the outside of the pub, as an entrance to the room. We did have an enjoyable night though.

Second time we've been here recently and it was awesome again; we actually came back for the food! Every dish we've had so far has been delicious. The cheeseburger spring rolls(genius invention) are to die for and the fish and chips we had was so nice and fresh, not too oily or overly crispy, sides were nicely done too and good portion size - 2 pieces big enough to share but also not excessively massive serving for one. Staff are pretty on the ball as well. Good humble local 👍🏼

Dropped in for brunch and a beer on the weekend when we saw they had vegan options on the menu. We grabbed a couple of vegan burgers and they were really tasty! Beer was cold and both young barstaff were friendly and welcoming, which is nice and refreshing in bar service these days. Just be careful where you sit outside, there's a large smoking area out the back and you can't avoid getting choked out. Anyway, we'll be back to try some more items on the menu, maybe sit inside this time and give the quiz a shot as well!

Had a great night on Monday. Last minute dinner plans with the kids. Amanda was super helpful with the kids, letting them play with the pool table. Provided some extra juice to keep the peace ✌️. Thank you very much.

Awesome service from our server, Rocky. She made the kids all feel so welcome and really went the extra mile for our big group. Chips yummy and wine cold.

Thanks for your reply. I understand you need to try to justify, but we were mistreated. To clarify, the early guests were happily seated behind us and we had politely confirmed with them that we would be gone before 4. I have never expected people move for my benefit if I’m early for a booking, and I very much doubt many people would.

Haven't been here for years. The food quality has certainly gone down from how good it used to be. The chicken caesar salad was very average 😕

Plenty of parking. Food good and reasonably priced. Open fire in Winter. Staff always friendly.

Love the local vibe, it makes it kid friendly and the staff are swell! The lovely Stately has looked after us every time we have been. She is friendly and helpful and even the kids love her :) The food has been consistently good and the menu caters to all. Happy we have it as one of our locals.

I love the Civic. I miss the homely, family style pubs we were used to in Melbourne and the civic is the closest we have found. On a Sunday we love to bring our books, drawing supplies and sit with the kids, yum food and drinks. Lovely staff and a great vibe. Lots of different spots to sit depending on the weather!

The civic is an excellent pub for Australians who haven't spent their entire life in the city. If you're looking for a country style pub, the civic offers a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle. The civic is a place you can call home, a local watering hole. There's no pretence here, the civic is a place you go to meet an old friend; a place you go to wind down after a hard day. All this combined with the spectacular acts offered at the milk bar makes this pub my first port of call when in need of respite. Thank God for the civic.

Fairly big hotel, with plenty of outdoor pub seating and good pub meals. Smoking and non-smoking areas are very separate so no chance of crossing over. Food is good and nice leafy outlook, with some spot on TV's inside.

I semi-regularly attend The Civic and it is exceptional! Great location with plenty of nearby parking and other convenient services. The food is exceptional, having eaten here many times I can ensure you it never disappoints. The portions are generous, with amazing taste, and all while being competitively priced. The weekly specials are also incredible, a sure incentive to head on over for great meal. For example, one of my favourite meals is their chicken parmy, for it's incredible taste and huge size. I've been known to put away food like I'm an endless pit (eternally hungry) and I always want to order a second parmy because they're just amazing, but I am always full after just the first. The service is also fantastic and timely, I've regularly been served by Amberley and Stately on my nights out and they're always so welcoming and friendly! The option to also use the app to order additional drinks or food is very convenient (especially for being covid safe). Overall, The Civic is a fantastic place that I highly recommend!

Room was great value for money. Had a table of 6 to celebrate a birthday, food was good pub grub and the service from Jo and Hannah was fantastic. Thanks girls.

EVERY Tuesday night the jazz club meets in the milk bar, different band each week. Last Tuesday was Mr Jazz, a real big band. Good dance music nice compact floor. Excellent atmosphere

Nice place to visit! Customer service was above and beyond! It was quite enough for that type of service. Not all places do that even if they have time! Well-done staff.

The Civic hotel management and staff were really professional and friendly.I would definitely highly recommend there customer service top notch. As for the rooms upstairs I really loved it also. I would definitely recommend it and say Civic Hotel is the best in Perth,no other hotel can ever compete so high up the ranks,or even come close Numero Uno thanks to the management and staff who love their work,it highly reflects on their standards and quality customer focus

Luka Rogers is a bar manager that other bar managers should aspire to be like. AlwYs ensuring the patrons are looked after, the staff are happy, and the atmosphere is vibrant and warm. Can I give more stars? Only five? I’ll bring more stars in next time I go to the Civic because I will definitely be going back.

Great venue with loads going on.. The new open mic night on Thursday fortnightly is so good along side my parmy & pint! Shout out to Luka whose sense of humour has my attention!!

Was searching for something to do with my daughter for Halloween.. the monster mayhem disco they put on for the kids was a huge hit she had such a great time. Lunch was good also.
