We
rented
Unit
30
for
a
period
over
Christmas
(Dec
23).
The
Hay
Street
apartments
are
ideally
situated
in
Subiaco,
with
excellent
transport
links,
choice
of
supermarkets
and
restaurants
within
easy
walking
distance.
The
apartment
itself
is
a
duplex
and
of
a
decent
size,
however
there
is
only
one
bathroom
so
if
you
are
6
people,
you
may
find
yourself
waiting
for
the
loo.
The
beds
were
very
comfortable,
towels
were
provided
and
it
had
a
washing
machine
/
tumble
available
for
use.
The
hot
water
was
always
plentiful
and
the
air
con
just
about
managed
to
keep
us
cool
during
the
hot
Perth
summer.
The
owners
provided
detailed
information
about
the
apartment
and
the
location.
The
WIFI
was
excellent
and
the
entry
process
was
super
easy.
We
did
have
a
couple
of
issues
-
firstly,
there
was
a
leak
in
the
bathroom
basin,
which
are
being
reported
was
sorted
out
extraordinarily
quickly.
Excellent
service.

The
apartment
overlooks
the
pool,
which
is
of
a
sufficient
size
for
a
swim
during
the
hot
weather.
There
is
a
shower
and
spa
with
the
pool
complex
too,
which
is
a
lovely
addition.
It's
kept
amazingly
clean
and
was
never
too
busy
to
secure
a
lounger
or
a
seat.
However,
in
spite
of
notices,
informing
residents
that
the
pool
is
only
for
use
during
daylight
hours,
people
ignored
these
and
could
be
heard
in
the
pool
way
after
dark.
In
addition,
it
is
advised
that
neither
glasses
or
alcohol
or
smoking
were
allowed
within
the
pool
area
-
this
was
ignored
openly
by
some
guests.
Clearly,
this
is
NOTHING
to
do
with
the
owners
of
Unit
30,
however
it
was
irksome
that
these
requests
were
openly
flaunted
by
some
other
guests.
Payment:
we
had
some
issues
in
paying
the
rental
balance
from
the
UK.
The
invoice
clearly
states
that
International
bank
transfer
is
accepted
and
the
necessary
details
are
provided
HOWEVER
it
transpires
that
the
owners
do
NOT
accept
such
payments,
which
caused
us
some
problems.
(And,
at
time
of
review
being
left,
we
are
still
attempting
to
recoup
money
from
HSBC,
however
please
note
that
at
no
point
did
the
owners
of
Unit
30
attempt
to
defraud
us
at
all.
They
were
perfectly
above
board
AT
ALL
TIMES
and
one
could
rent
from
them
with
impunity.)
Maybe
if
you
were
renting
from
Australia,
you
would
not
have
such
issues?
The
owners
were
super
quick
to
respond
to
any
communication
and
for
this,
they
are
to
be
thanked.
The
bathroom
-
is
slightly
dated
and
could
do
with
some
TLC.
The
kitchen
-
it's
a
slightly
strange
layout
-
but
had
everything
that
one
needed,
included
a
dishwasher.
ANTS.....I
know...Perth
summer.....but
in
spite
of
fastidious
cleaning,
they
were
a
constant
nuisance.
Overall,
the
location
is
excellent,
the
apartment
is
a
good
size,
it
has
everything
one
needs
and
it's
very
good
value
for
what
you
receive.
The
owners
are
very
quick
to
respond
to
any
issues
or
problems.
Would
we
stay
there
again
on
our
next
return
to
Perth?
Probably.
