Unfortunately I can't recommend this accommodation. Although it wasn't too far from town and the washing machine was handy, we encountered lots of issues with our stay. The oven was broken, no WiFi, the shower was either scalding hot or freezing, the surfaces were grubby (visible dirt on door handles) and the dishes weren't properly cleaned. We found an old deodorant can and a half used body lotion in the wardrobe. We also found half a Beef Ragu in the freezer. The room was pretty noisy too. The upstairs neighbors came back drunk one night at 4am and had a loud party. Our room did not look like the one in the photos at all this may explain why our experience was different from other guests.

We only stayed for 3 days, but all of our basic needs were met and more. The studio apartment was clean and smelled nice, so did the bed and the bathroom. Washing machine and small kitchen area were tidy and nice to have. We didn't mind the absence of room service as we like to take care of ourselves anyway. Overall a cheap, well placed accommodation I would recommend to solo travellers, couples and small families.

Rooms are very good, Location is also manageable, But, there,s should be someone to assist the guests, At least water for drinking should be in room upon arrival at least, Rest of things are fine

The cleanliness was exceptional. The neighbourhood is quiet. The parking is free, however it can be a little tricky to find, but this could be rectified with a map of some sort near the gate. The stove and fridge were almost new, and the range of cooking utensils was extensive. Oh, and because the water heater is an instantaneous gas heater, there is always hot water. It was a very comfortable, and pleasant stay.

This place was spacy, complete with loundry, and kitchen (and complete kichen tools). All clean and tidy. Really nice to stayed here.

Only gets 1 star because it’s close to everything. Otherwise I wouldn’t bother coming here. Kitchen utensils, plates, pots, etc, all dirty. Bins already had rubbish in when we got here. The beds are shockingly uncomfortable. We stayed for 6 nights with our daughter post surgery and it was nothing but a nightmare… House keeping didn’t even look at us the entire stay so we had stints of little to no bed coverings when we had to strip the beds down and wash everything. We asked for more and were told “housekeeping should be able to help you out”… Lie. Not even a proper bowl to eat a meal from… 😂 All in all, don’t waste your time or money unless you need an overnight stay close to the city.

Recently renovated, nicely presented, good location close to shops, eateries etc. Rooms on 2nd & 3rd levels can be difficult for elderly occupants. No on-site staff to assist with any enquiries, messages must be left on a phone system and then wait for a response. Car parking available on a first come basis. Overall generally acceptable.

Great close to city location. Room was clean and tidy, looked like the whole complex had a revamp and paint recently. Bed comfy. Large rooms and more than adequately furnished with all the accessories fir a good long stay.

Excellent value for money. Central to everything but also nice and quite. This apartment building while basic was very clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed. Facilities well equipped especially the kitchen, everything I need is available. Staff friendly and helpful, you will absolutely feel at home. Free parking was also a big plus for us. We would stay here again.

Good location, cleaned well however needs a renovation. Very outdated. The oven needs to be reconfigured. Marking are worn out.

Malibu apartments is great value. We are here for 3 nights. The bed is very comfortable and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including washing machine and cooking facilities. We highly recommend it for the budget conscious who is looking for great value. We will definitely be staying here again. Was a top find 😊

This apartment was in a great spot. The apartment was clean and tidy providing what is needed for our stay. We thought it was great value for money. It felt like staying at 'home'. The staff who contact us were fantastic. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Just know you are staying at an apartment NOT a hotel.

Malibu apartments is a good and affordable place to stay. Apartment has every thing you need including utensils, stove, full size fridge and washing machine. I stayed there for over 10 nights. You will not get internet, and there is no regular room cleaning. There is also no lift in the apartment. But they are providing more than you are paying for. I am absolutely happy with the place and will definitely go back there.

Quiet. Clean. Didn't break the bank costwise. Parking available, although it was tricky to find the entrance. Lots of amenities, great little self contained unit. Would stay here again.

Me and my family stayed there for more than 2 weeks. A nice, quiet, clean and budget place to stay. Basic needs like kitchen stuff, laundry soap, washing machine, tv, extra blankets& pillows were all there. Near to shops- like 5 mins drive. near to a nice public pool- daughter loves it. and near to the botanic garden & Scitech. They also have a very friendly staff who is helpful if you need to ask something. Recommended to all who’s on the budget.
