After receiving shocking customer service and waiting in the line for 2 hours I posted a review on the avenues Facebook page. However, the comment has since been taken down with no response. Last night I saw staff and bouncers behave in a very unprofessional way, giving easy access to their friends over customers, increasing the wait time, taking shots in the bar infront of customers as well as being just plain rude and providing poor hospitality. After taking out a complaint with a staff member I was quickly kicked out with no reason given and told to leave. These people have very little regard for their customers and would rather make money by kicking people out senselessly and getting crowds through. This poor experience means I won’t be returning. I will no longer be recommending this club to friends as I did not feel welcome or safe in this venue.

Disgusting place. Bouncers have no sense of judgement here, don't be surprised if you get kicked out for no reason. Poor selection of drinks, tiny and miserable dance floor. Makes you think how this "club" has the gall to ask for a $10 paid entry.

Bouncers very rude and disrespectful. Ok music but the main bouncers are absolute tw*ts. Used to love this place but just like Trump would say, has become a sh*thole

Spent an hour in line only to be told I wasn't getting in. Not very convenient. Been there before and not worth the wait or effort..I suppose it's the only thing open on Sunday, however you may aswell set up a Bluetooth speaker and dance with your cat to have a better time

The worst most uncomfortable experience I’ve had at a nightclub in a long time. Waited in line for over an hour and the bouncers were incredibly disgusting and rude. please don’t come here unless you want to be harassed by patrons AND staff!

Probably the worst security I've ever encountered. The bouncer was an absolute prick to everyone, constantly threatening to kick people out of line for no reason and actually doing so if you asked why. Saw this happen to 2 people before I got in. Atmosphere inside was pretty bad.

Worst club I’ve ever been to. After paying for entrance fee, and lining up for an hour, they kicked me out for “being too drunk”. I’d only had 2 drinks and all they wanted was to fix the boy/girl ratio… disappointed

If you are a punter walking into the club, and you are BARGED INTO by a worker when you first walk in. Don’t expect to get in if u defend urself. Paid entry fee to get in, and was literally man handled by a white entitled young girl on arrival. Based on her reaction, was kicked out. No ability to defend self. Felt part of a racist feel in response to my defence. If you are at all coloured, and kicked out of club, don’t be surprised.

The Ave has always been a great spot to go throughout the years and continues to do great things. Being a local it’s great there‘s a place you can go to drink n dance that’s open late which is close to home where you will always see a known face! The staff are always super friendly and they do killer cocktails! Bring on next Thursday night 😜

super lame drink quality no lemons or limes. it’s winter they are cheap. hoodies are a prerequisite for entry and track pants gives you +10 points. seems more like a crèche than a nightclub.
