We were here on a busy Sunday morning, but service was prompt, drinks arrived quickly (we had coffee and hot chocolate, both very good), and food soon after. The polenta dish was the best I ever had. We also had burgers and pancakes, all freshly prepared and piping hot, very satisfying. We've been to a few cafes but this one really stood out for the great food and the prompt service. Thank you! Will definitely be back :)

Delicious Sunday morning breakfast with my daughter, at this friendly and cozy little cafe in the heart of Angelo Street. The staff were amazing and let me change options for the Eggs Benedict to take into account my dietary requirements. A delicious and generous serving along with an amazing soy cappuccino. We will be back to try the Truffle fries.

Surprisingly fast with the food coming out, tastiest polenta I've ever had, and a super cute snail as coffee art 😍. Oh, and great coffee too 👌 I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Lovely location, dog friendly and the owner and staff are attentive. Food was delicious and made fresh. The summer bliss juice mix was very nice with aloe juice and a little something different from other cafes.

Great coffee and service. The pesto on the bread was a really nice touch and elevated the shakshuka. The breakkt burger was good and was surprised the extra $6 for chorizo was just two slices. Would come back for the coffee here

The only place for coffee!! Amazing friendly owner Ellie. I've three kids and they all ask to go there to read the books. Friendly environment and so welcoming for families and young children. The staff and in particular the owner welcome children and make everyone feel at home! Couldn't recommend it more.

A good breakfast spot in South Perth. The owner was kind. Coffee and the food taste were OK. The bread was cold and not one of the best. Also, the food tastes plainish, so using some spices could enhance the flavour. The service was strange – both our coffee and plates were delivered individually.

Had their big brekky to share, not worth it for the price, the only thing I enjoyed was the mushrooms. The portion of the meal was too small. The poached eggs were too watery and the toast was rock hard. The coffee was ok though.

Had a great experience at Halo. The food was delicious I had the Breaky Tacos and my partner had the Poke Bowl and both were amazing! Also the staff and owner making sure we were taken care of. A great cafe with good vibes and great food. Definitely a new regular

Recently found myself in Halo while daughter attended Wesley for Bronze medallion. Great service, a $5 mug of coffee that has been consistently perfect the 3 times I have visited. Bravo to the team here

It was our first time at the Halo Espresso, the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggesting us with foods on their menu, we were both very satisfied with the service and the food as well. Would definitely recommend and come back again in future, Thankyou.☺️

Chai latte comes in a pot with spices in there, pretty cool 👌 polenta chips super yumm!! Will go back for more chips!

Local cafe and coffee shop in South Perth. They have a large selection of pastries and a made to order menu. They do special menu items as well as the normal menu. I ordered black truffle scrambled eggs with Shokupan toast. Which was delicious and had plenty of truffle shaved on top. Coffee was good with a lot of options depending on the way you like your coffee.

Halo’s owner works there everyday and her staff are lovely! They are always smiling and warm! Halo can get busy because the coffee and food is so good and the locals love it! I work locally and go to Halo everyday. Good people, great coffee & memorable service.

Halo is the most welcoming and lovely cafe. Not only do they serve delicious food and good coffee, there is a relaxing atmosphere for everyone, with toys and activities provided for kids of all ages and a great community vibe among the regular customers.

Service was excellent! Food was amazing! What topped it off for us was we took our friend here for her birthday, the staff went out of their way to bring a cupcake for her and sang too. Deffs will be back!

Literally walked in this afternoon and already had great vibes about this place. Atmosphere is absolutely refreshing and calm, service was tip-top and the food and beverages were absolutely impeccable, delicious and great portions. If you're looking for a hang out spot, this is the place for you.

Love the coffee, reasonably priced with good portion. Though the polenta is a little bit too oily, otherwise it’s great. Service could improve a little as some of the staff aren’t paying attention when customers are calling them.

This place has such a nice vibe to it. The staff are welcoming and the owner is friendly. The food was nice and pretty standard price for the portion size. Drinks & Food came very quickly and were cleared fast, which I always appreciate. This place is a cute little local place, perfect for a casual breakfast. Bonus Points for the big Christmas Tree.

Friendly staff, beautiful decor and excellent coffee as well as food. Decent street parking, but theres also a large parking lot nearby. Well worth a trip to visit.

My family have been visiting Halo for a couple of years and our experience has always been great! The owner is really friendly and treats her staff very well! The food is great and the coffee consistently good! We would recommend Halo with certainty! Looking forward to our next visit!

"WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE" This is by far the worst cafe in Perth. The treatment I received from, who I presumed is the owner if not the manager is extremely disgusting. Visited the cafe and ordered coffee after my morning run, not only they overcharged me, she started yelling when I asked about it and was extremely rude. I wouldn't write this review if the coffee tasted fine, coffee tasted stale and nasty. Stay away from this cafe!!

What a beautiful little cafe in South Perth. The owner of this cafe is so lovely. The coffee and food are just as good. She even has a good drop off point for local families in need. Highly recommend

Having been visiting Elly and the team on almost a daily basis for the last 12 months, I would highly recommend trying Halo Espresso! Not only are the staff always very friendly and a pleasure to deal with, the coffee and food are fantastic! Best croissants in Perth!

Coffee was good. They served one of us with both ordered items and there was a delay with the second coffee and the cake was not even ordered or charged..... forgotten altogether, though the staff remembered the request being made. The pecan pie when we eventually got it was very good. Service ....not so
