My son and I had lunch here on Sunday, July 23rd July 2023. I never go to Coffee Club as I feel they are overpriced for poor food, but on this occasion, it was just the only option available bear by after the photography expo at the Novatel Hotel. Anyway my son had a chocolate Frappe ans big breakfast, I had the Mango smoothie with the veggie big breakfast (a bizarre mix of cold and hot food) why would you not cook tomatoes or spinach with a hot breakfast? Avocado cold, I can understand. The next day, I started to feel unwell. For 5 days, I had severe food poisoning. This was the worst case possible. I dropped 2.4 kg in the first 24 hours and a total of 5.1kg all up. Severe dehydration as I couldn't even stomach water. My son contacted me on Tuesday asking if I was u well, and he had been severely sick all day the Monday and unable to get out of bed. Safe to say we will never visit a Coffee Club ever again, even if it is a last resort or our only option, next time I'll drive hours to find an alternative food option if I have too.

I tried to have breakfast in this place…But I don’t recommend it, I ask for a cappuccino, after 20 min it’s not ready I ask at one guy of the staff but she tell me needs around 5 min more… At the end i go away for start to work without a payed cappuccino

Worst coffee club dining experience! Doesn’t even deserve the one star! Food quality is not good at all! Ordered a mango frappe which was just water and almost no flavour. The coffee frappe was just like an ice coffee (no difference at all). The big veggie breakfast had bacon in it and when i told the waitress, she just took the plate back removed the bacon and brought it back (something i could have done myself). No apologies and no customer service! Not recommended at all! I have been to other coffee clubs but never had such bad experience!

Food was ok but probably wouldn't come back unless I had to. Just had the truffle beef and bacon burger with sweet potato fries instead of normal fries. It was ok, the beef patty tasted like one of those cheap instant patties you can buy at Woolies and was quite oily. The bacon was cooked to perfection with some crispy edges. The tomato was powdery, maybe not fresh and the salad was fine. Could probably recommend adding a sharp chedder cheese or something to give the burger a bit of pazzaz. The truffle mayo was pretty alright, you could taste the truffle which was pretty good. The sweet potato fries were great. The whole meal was not really worth $22. I dined in which was probably not the best choice as the servers like to slam things and seem to make a lot of general kitchen noises. Other tables were having lunch meetings and I cannot understand how they stayed sitting there with so much noise. If you're going to come here, I recommend sitting outside if it's not too windy.

Waited exceptionally longer than we should've for our meal... table of 12 was given preference over our prior order. Order staff seemed more interested in being at home than at work

Quick Lunch with the wife. The eggs Benedict and ham. Excellent. Will be back again. The eggs cooked just right and slightly runny. The base bread or whatever it was was 👌. The Berri Protein Shake was okay. Probably pretty good for a Protein shake but probably wouldn't get again.

Nice big breakfast, service was fast and food was fresh and cooked well. Caramel latte was too sweet, less pumps needed.

Place is decent size I love the iced chai latte. Prices are very reasonable my favourite place for coffee

Worst pancakes I've ever had in a cafe-small (pikelet size) cold and dry with fermented strawberries and icey icecream. Only ate one as just too dry even with maple syrup. Mango passionfruit smoothie was very nice. Staff ok- wouldn't describe as friendly or welcoming. When i told the waitress why i hadn't eaten the pancakes, she looked at me blankly- said nothing- no apology, no indication she'd let the chef know. There was certainly no offer to redo them as indicated in owner's reply. I am well aware when strawberries are fresh and when they taste off/fermented.

Had poached eggs on toast, very well cooked, coffee is very good, nice seating, I will try again soon. Oh and good parking, just don't forget parking ticket, as thier onto it.

Ordered breakfast and coffee via the table app and drinks came promptly and were great. Breakfast on the otherhand didnt arrive, tables around us had been waiting over 1 hr for basic food orders and didnt recieve until they asked staff. They were told the delay was due to being placed through the app and that they were busy ( 10 tables max at the time ). Definitely not busy. We received a refund

Coffee was good, sitting alfresco is protected but still with plenty of passers by, staff friendly - table service is a nice touch.

This is the worst waited 45 min for our order I understand staff issues this is an own goal as they are more focused on Uber eats that the customers in the store look for somewhere else don’t bother

Had their Brekkie Burger while waiting for the bus. It was great. Service was warm and friendly. The food and coffee was prompt. It'd be almost worth another Sunday bus ride just to have a late breakfast there again.

too slow for a scramble egg it takes half an hour wait no jok! then instead, they encourage you to buy a preready prepared meal from the fridge 😞

It's simply a waste of time when one orders "REALLY WELL DONE BACON", most of the time it's just easier cooking at home. The eggs & toast were okay. Refer to my photo of 'well done bacon'

Ordered two eggs Benedict. The most disgusting meal I’ve ever had. Like eating cardboard. The eggs were not soft poached as ordered they were so hard and the bacon was folded and when I opened it up half of it hadn’t even been cooked. It was RAW!!! This is absolutely disgusting. Cannot believe this. Worst meal ever.

My lactose intolerant friend ordered an iced coffee specifically with soy milk for delivery today and they put in real cow's milk. She is currently still in a lot of pain as a result. This is an incredibly neglectful and harmful oversight on The Coffee Club Cafe's part. Please understand that mistakes / willful ignorance towards dietary orders like this can cause serious issues for others! Update: Staff have tried to reach out to us after seeing this review. We appreciate the initiative, however there's really nothing that we want except better care taken in the future for other customers.

The Chai Latte was not good, the cappuccino either. I am disappointed at the dismal standard and quality of the drinks! You have so much room for improvement, please learn how to make a good chai latte

Had breakfast this morning and waited more then half an hour for eggs on toast and bacon and eggs and my poached eggs were way overdone and I'm really unsure why you serve cold plain tomatoes as a side it doesn't make for nice eating at all, staff didn't look happy and we didn't enjoy our experience today for the prices you charge the food does not match up

Good location near in Townsville city,the food very good ,we are very enjoyed the breakfast,but if want to use toilet need going to use outside the public toilet

Great staff. Very efficient food delivered quickly. Not terribly busy at this time of day. Best side salad of any CC I've been to in Perth. Flat grill with chicken, camembert and extra spinach and a side of sweet potato chips, scrumptious. Generous serve of chips. Coffee was excellent. Sadly closes at 3pm, I'd like to sit here and write but running out of time. Excellent, thankyou.

Worst coffee club dining experience. A the meals were over cooked. The chicken was left in the deep fryer too long, the burger bun came out like overcooked toast. The chicken flatgrill was the same, over toasted! It was like eating glass shards!!!! Super unhappy. Would give negative rating.

Service was gd because it was relatively quiet. During peak times service was not always gd. It solely depends on whether the person behind the register was in a good mood and could be bothered to greet you with a smile. The quality of the food is a hit and miss. I have been during peak hours where the chef is overwhelmed with the volume of orders ans produces tasteless food. I would have to be drowning my food with pepper and salt to boost its otherwise blend flavour. Other times it would taste alright. I had an unpleasant experience of having to get a new cup for my tea because it had a lipstick mark on it. Yuck!! The manager gave me a clean cup and apologised.

A great breakfast this morning at The Coffee Club on Adelaide Terrace. Especially good value for money - I had the Big Breakfast and boy, was it big! Terrific coffee as well and although very busy (we had to wait 15mins), the staff were very professional and friendly. Highly recommended especially if you are a traveler like me and don't want to pay a fortune for the buffet breakfast at the hotel.
