The sticky date pudding is to die for! First time I had was 5 years ago and the deliciousness has never changed. They make great coffees and food as well. It’s an intimate cafe and can get busy at certain times. Staffs were friendly. Service was quick. Restroom was clean.

Always bought take away coffee & it’s always been consistently good. Dined In today & food drinks & service is second to none. Very cosy cafe with interesting paintings & deco. The leather lounge is very comfy to seat on. Whole cafe was bustling with customers who knows the barista/owner by name & just a nice community feel about the place. Will be back again to try other food on the menu.

This is a very cozy café where you can enjoy a cup of coffee on early mornings before the sun rises, starting a beautiful day. Their toastie are delicious, and the toast smells amazing. The staff is friendly, and despite having many customers, the food and coffee are served quickly, so you don't have to wait long. It's a great place to stop and take a break. I'll definitely visit again if I have the chance.

Extremely average coffee. The place went massively downhill in the last couple of years. Few years back breakfasts here were massive and delicious (pictured). Right now food is super average and not worth its price. So is the coffee. Will not be back.

I love this place. You can have a good coffee and this cozy atmosphere would make you feel so good if you visit this shop. I recommed flat white and a pig macadamia.

Bad service , rude staff. I am first timer trying coffee here and was not feel welcomed . Owner need to learn to Treat all customer as human not just regular customer. We all paying same dollar$$ into your pocket , so stop be so judgemental as this will back to you next time .

Really enjoyed the food, coffee and service here. Fuss-free, relaxing vibe. Recommend the eggs and toast. Coffee is really good too - one of the better cups I've had in Perth. Easy parking as well. Would recommend a visit and will definitely be back!

The Imp is such a lovely cafe within the busy Vic Park area. I've seen so many good reviews about this place and i'm all agreed. Just one thing from my own opinion, and probably a heads up for anyone that can't handle spiciness (like me): please read the ingredients in the menu carefully 😅! Today i ordered a smashed avocado with poached eggs on toast and i wasn't aware there is chilli flakes sprinkle. The chilli flakes made me choke and I almost cried 🥲 Apart from that, i was happy with everyrhing else: lovely space, friendly staff, nice coffee. Will definitely come back and try other things in the menu (with no chilli of course 😁).

Beautiful coffee, my usual soy latte! Look how cute the tea pot is, keep the tea warm for longer. We had the Cuban sandwich & Breaky wrap both very yummy. Highly recommended.

Everything about this cafe just knocks it out of the ballpark. The food was flawless, presentation was immaculate and the taste was even better. It’s rare you find a cafe that does coffee and food at such a high standard. And the decor just happens to be extremely pleasing too. It’s a must stop and see if you’re in East Victoria Park, and if you’re in Perth.

We only dropped in for a quick coffee and just happened to chance their stucky date pudding muffin 😍 Wow, unbelievable flavor and oh so happy I did. The coffee was pretty awesome as well.

a very classy and rustic cafe serving simple but delicious food. the coffee is great especially the hot mocha. my personal favourite was the chilli scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. very comforting dish. the eggs were cooked perfectly. the pancakes and toast with mushrooms were also good. worth a try although it is slightly on the pricey side.

The Venue: Not much to write home about here, a cosy cafe with limited indoor seating, does have an Al fresco area; again quite limited. The Food: I stopped by here for breakfast, was not disappointed. The Chili Scrambled Eggs were perfectly cooked, with a good amount of heat to the taste. My mates had the Breakfast Burrito which was quite nice as well. They also have some good coffee here, I went with my Evergreen choice, the Cappuccino, and it was perfectly delightful. The Service: Friendly and hospitable, they have a good team here. Kudos guys! TLDR: Must try the Chili Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Burrito, and Cappuccino.

I really like how brown this place is, not just from the generous wooden decor that gives the place that classic vibes - how you imagine coffee shops are supposed to look like, but also how dark my espresso is and how much flavour is in it. It's not your milked down flat white that makes Perth an embarrassing place to visit these days. I kid you not this is some of the best coffee in Perth. Aside from that, the team is always friendly and chirpy, so it's always great to visit. The food, though simple, still packs a good one and I'll always be happy to get the sandwiches or cakes here. I do wish it opens later as it used to. Edit: came back here a year later for my annual Perth visit. Coffee still banging, place still buzzing.
