Coffee decent but not great. Like the efficient service, there is just a little something missing. Its strange what taste passion has in food and it is definitely an esoteric thing but is what makes a cafe great rather than very good. The job gets done and gets done quickly with no fuss but there is no eye contact on takeaway coffee pickups, and the breakfast wraps are 'takeaway only' - no budging. I haven't encountered that before and I was taken aback. If someone is willing to pay a dine-in price for something, why not sell it? Would I come back to this very good cafe? Probably not, purely because there is a Great cafe just down the road.

I don't know how this place has such good reviews. My experience with the food was terrible. I didn't eat it beyond a few bites. The coffee was just ok. The danishes looked good on display but I didn't try them. I definitely do not recommend the zucchini and haloumi fritters. Waste of $24 unfortunately 😞

What a great little place. They got broken into last night, so they have a new number. It’s quiet, with an obvious loyal following. You don’t stay in business for 11 years in a little out of the way place like this without serving great coffees, breakfasts and lunches. Muffins and cakes look beautiful as well. ☕️ 🧁 🍰

I love the vibe of the cafe, it was on average turnout on Saturday which is good. They use Darkhorse beans and had great coffee, not so strong in my perception. The Mushroom Madame was really good, thought that the cheese was a bit too much or too thick. Average priced. Will definitely come back.

A really nice cafe. friendly service, excellent food, excellent coffee, reasonable prices. The roast pork toastie was superb. The pickles were great and the roast pork was succulent and moist. My only suggestion for improvement is a larger "large mug" for dine-in coffee so I can get more caffeine :) I would prefer slightly hotter default temperature also but I'll ask for that next time. Good value place and we'll be back. I recommend it. Update: Today's visit 29/12 wasn't good. Young girl just wanted to go home and reminded us they were closing soon. However we were there a few minutes after 12 and I assume they were closing at 1pm. They were rolling away the blinds while everyone was still at the tables, so that didn't feel very welcoming. The young boy made lukewarm coffee that tasted weird also. I won't update the score because I assume it's just a one-off while the good lady is away.

My mandatory coffee pit stop before work. They open at 6am, which is a godsend for early starters and a lot better than relying on maccas coffee, I'll tell you that. There's nothing more aggravating to me than being awake before 10am, so it's nice and comforting to walk into this cosy café, say hi to the early morning regulars, and get your coffee from the friendly staff who remember both your name and coffee order. That's all.

Amazing coffee and good selection of foods. Coffee is always really good and open a little later than some cafes.

All good. If you like your coffee hot, ask for hot. Delicious smoothies and excellent coffee. We've been there three times now.

A great little suburban eatery. Check out the courtyard if it's a bit full. Nice selection of food in the cabinet and great menu. Most importantly they do a great coffee !!

I tried special menu which is Turkish egg. It was perfect!! Staff was so nice and coffee was always high quality.

Coffee is OK, used to go here a lot when it first opened. Since then I have found a few other gems around which are much better in my opinion (also cheaper) so do not go here as much. The place still offers a good vibe and seems to still be fairly popular with the local mums.

I've had takeaway more than a few times here recently while at the nearby park. The food can be good but the experience is offset by waiting times (quite a wait today for pre-made cabinet food despite lots of people behind the counter and no one in front of me. I've stopped ordering takeaway drinks because coffees take forever). Also didn't expect a takeaway sausage roll to come with a full salad that I didn't want to eat or pay for. Maybe they've had some hard times during covid so hoping they work on improving things because staff are friendly and it's in a good location.

Love coming to hoopla to study, they have nice coffee and nice music, and atmosphere, not too many gluten free options for a coeliac like myself but otherwise enjoy hoopla

Great coffee. But! A simple rye toast with jam you have to wait for 30 minutes even after reminding that in has not been served. Coffee not only got cold but ended. And by the way, still waiting for a toast. Must have been that rye is getting ripe exceptionally slow today. For some reason other customers were served all sorts of food meanwhile. Seems like inly coffee then next time.

Nice place for client meetings ☺ There are some high desks. Free Wi-Fi available. This café has outdoor seating. I noticed lots of toys available for the tiny customers. High chairs are provided as well. Coffee was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I found some vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. I'd certainly recommend this café. 👍🏻

LOVED my scrambled eggs/sourdough toast!! Dad had the veg frittata - “a good choice” he says! Coffees were very nicely made too - thanks for the lovely experience! Helpful And friendly staff. Cosy and comfy seating arrangements inside - HEAPS of cushions - we loved it!
