Such a busy place....but staff never seem stressed....always make you feel comfortable and accommodated. Food always good.

I wish I didn’t have to leave this review but I felt it was important for others to know how terrible my experience was. The burger I ordered was less than ordinary. My friend and I were left for over an hour after our plates were taken by a very grumpy lady, with no service while everyone around us was asked if they would like desert/coffee/anything at all. It was as if we were being ignored! I definitely don’t intend to revisit a place with such atrocious food and service again.

Great place to stop in for a coffee and cake or to grab some lunch. The menu looks incredible with lots of modern Asian flavours. The vegetarian Vietnamese rolls were delicious. $9 for a large sized roll full of fresh ingredients. The accompanying dipping sauce was delightful. Very peaceful place with a great ambience. Will be visiting again. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the takeaway window and side seating. 😍

I'm deeply dissatisfied with the portion size of the gnocchi, especially given its steep price of $37. The spicy margaritas were a letdown, lacking any hint of spice. I seriously doubt I'll be returning.

Me and my wife called in today after I had an appointment nearby and found the staff very welcome and the food was beautiful! Next time we're up that way from baldivis, we'll definitely call back in! Seating outside in the sun 🌞 was great, and the guy serving us was really nice and enjoyed a chat.

We came here for a quick lunch on a busy Saturday. The service was super quick and friendly and the food was amazing. We had a lemongrass spiced beef salad and a superfood salad. Both were absoluteltly delicious. We will be back for sure.

Lovely little restaurant. Friendly staff, greeted and served very promptly. Nice selection of Asian fusion food with plenty of variety. I will definitely be back to try out some more of their specialties.

Super busy Cafe, so recommend you book. It was a spur of the moment thing for us, even with no booking the staff were amazing. Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. If sitting outside they provide rugs & heaters to keep you warm. Great range of cakes & pastries. Amazing coffee. Menu has an asian influence. I had the hawker roll (pictured), super tasty with just the right amount of heat. Boys had the large barramundi and chips - 2 large pieces of fish! Tartare sauce was homemade & soooo good! Definitely will be back but will book next time.

Tempura eggplant is horrible, very difficult to bite, do not try! Chop chop iceberg salad not too bad.

I went there a couple of times in my short stay in Perth. Simply loved it. Nice atmosphere, coffee and food. You could also get a pint and enjoy a book if you wish for

We stopped off on the way somewhere and got takeaway coffee and smoothies out of their little takeaway window. The staff were incredibly friendly and everything was ready fast. It all tasted as good as you could have possibly expected. I've come here plenty over the years and its never been anything but great.

Great coffee, good speedy service (if it’s only coffee you are after), plenty of seating and daily newspapers. I have seen other customers waiting a long time for food but it’s on a pleasant corner of the high street. Highly recommended.

Whether you're seeking a quick (great) coffee fix or a satisfying meal, this cafe has something to please every palate. Vans is located in the shopping area of Cottesloe which surrounded by other affluent suburbs, is very popular and does get super busy especially on weekends. So choose your time carefully. They changed their menu quite regularly and I’m happy with that. The last time we went there, my daughter and I both had blue swimmer crab cakes and hubby had Vans Fry up. Delicious!

Although it's sometimes hard to justify the kind of prices they charge here I can't say that any of the dishes were bad. If you're willing to spend it for good service, good atmosphere and pretty good food that, although it's average is still well done, then vans is pretty good! There's a reason they've been here for so many years and still going strong

The coffee is great and the food was quite good however I was seated for about 15-20 minutes before someone took my order which dampened my experience. The food came out pretty quickly once I had ordered. There is a nice covered outdoor space out back.

Hadn't been to Vans for a few years so really happy with the great service from the whole team on a busy night, Food was well portioned and some excellent flavours - the Crab Cakes actually taste like crab! The other dish was also very well flavoured. It won't be years before my next visit - 👍 Team

The place is very pretty, loved the atmosphere of sitting next to the open window. Had a coffee before ordering and actually had a chance to enjoy it, one of the best coffees I've had. Did take a while to place an order but it looked like it was getting busy, so I understand, and the food came out pretty fast. I had the avo toast, and like how the feta was mixed in with the smashed avo. My partner had the Indonesian spicy eggs, which she really liked, but there was only one piece of toast.

Fantastic coffee and genuinely the best battered barramundi I’ve ever had, was incredibly fresh and melted in the mouth. Compliments to the chef and the lovely ambience, however I’d say the menu has too many dishes, simplifying would help tremendously. 5 stars.

Van’s is always consistently good. Food always well presented and delicious. Last night at dinner for Father’s Day was no exception. Excellent service by courteous and friendly wait staff, in spite of the fact that they were very busy. Thank you Van’s for a great dining experience.

Fresh food, very friendly and helpful waiter. Easy parking. Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey but the foods were well presented. The coffee could be better.

An excellent all-round restaurant - creative dishes, bold coffee and efficient table service. Majority of staff are friendly and accommodating. Modern interior - spacious with airy plants 🌿. Situated on the corner of Napoleon Street - close to great stores and not far from Cottesloe Beach.

Excellent service reasonable prices.

Food was good quality, some portions are more generous than others. The price is a bit high but overall it was nice. Also what was nice is we stayed quite late and felt no pressure to leave.

Been here many times and again happy. Saturday late afternoon "lunch" so not a busy time. Good friendly service although one drink was incorrect but happily replaced. As usual too many nice menu options so we'll be back again soon.

Popular eatery with a very diverse menu. Great service and food came out prompt. The salad special I ordered was on the stingy side and there were black bits in them - I told the waiter this and was promptly given a new salad. They apologised and asked again if I enjoyed the salad. It was delicious and I'm glad that the customer service really shined.
