Love this place the food is excellent it’s fresh great tasting quality food with an enormous range of options to choose from Staff are super efficient and effective and only take minutes to serve you and have you order ready to go or to be served up at the many tables available The food is exceptional the rolls are crisp and crunchy and packed full of lovely food I had avocado and chicken which is one of my favourites apart from the ham and salad or egg or tuna and so on The coffee is excellent so when having a coffee why not have a Xmas mince pie which are yummy or a fresh jam donut or vanilla slice etc Well that’s it, no not yet try the bread a loaf of seeded bread and on it goes so many to choose from This place has it all what about a special celebration cake wow Come along and try this place you won’t be sorry lam not I’ve been coming here for years and it only gets better Cheers Trev

I have been going to this bakery since the mid 90's. Their store on Rokerby Road made me feel like I was in France as a small child. Today, I visited their new (to me) store in Leederville (25 years later) after getting off the plane - and I have to say, the thin baguette rolls, Florentines, Almond Croissants and Strawberry custard tarts are still THE best I've had in the world. I don't know when I'll be back in Perth again, but my word, if I still lived here, it would be dangerous for my figure - the is THE bakery in Perth.

The bread is fantastic, especially the dark roasted rye. Often get the ready made baguettes for takeaway, only loses one star because they put mayo on everything including ham and cheese 🤷‍♂️ just a nice mustard would suffice.

One of the best patisserie’s in Australia. I was in Perth from Sydney recently and pre ordered the gingerbread men to take home for the family. Great lunch options and yummy bread rolls. I would highly recommend this place even if it’s out of your way.

Fabulous products and a diverse offering. It's great to be able to buy/order in advance then simply drop by and collect - it means your visitors can enjoy the freshest breakfast, even in your own home.

Very good cakes, pastries and fresh french style breads and bread rolls. Great place to stop in for coffee and a snack. Can get very busy at lunch time.

Ordered a strawberry Choc Diplomat cake for Xmas day. I picked up the cake Xmas eve morning from the dedicated pick up counter. Thank goodness for that because the main shop was very busy. The presentation of the cake was outstanding. There must have been two punnets of strawberry's on the top. Shards of chocolate as well. The cake itself was light and refreshing with a yummy crust. Just what you need after Xmas lunch.

I love jean Claud’s flutes & bread absolutely first class, no one to touch them, however today I thought I’d try some of their Portuguese Tartlette’s 6 little ones in a box the cost $23.00 (ridiculous) I know they’re not the cheapest of places but I thought that was way too steep for the tiniest of tarts unless I was mistakenly over charged !! I’ve just returned from my home in London and I don’t think selfridges would charge that in their very elite patisserie section, anyway On biting into these little gems expecting the crispiest flakiest pastry with a creamy custard filling what I actually got was a soggy base and a lumpy gluggy custard very disappointing .. I have to say JC get over yrselves reflect todays economic climate and don’t get carried away with yr own reputation thinking yr better then what you are bc people pay yr prices, we do that simply bc we don’t want to complain .. yr good but hey yr not that good .. yr in the business of feeding people if you wanna charge like a bull then let’s get our monies worth 👌🏼

My husband and I took our 3 year old grandson for a treat. We shared a chicken and avocado bagget. It was spectacular. So very flavoursome. I had a coffee and he had chocolate eclair. The coffee was very good too. I can't wait to go back.

The worst sausage roll EVER! How could a gourmet bakery get it so wrong? The ‘meat’ was so peppery that it was inedible and the pastry was sad and un-flaky. Maybe they buy them in?

Excellent baguettes and pastries. The Christmas time fruit mince tarts were the best I've ever had, from anywhere.

One of the best bakeries in town. Try their mini doughnuts and the long skinny premade sandwiches. Outstanding

The mini glazed donuts here are one of Perth's best kept secrets. We recently discovered how good they were and everyone we've introduced them to are now also obsessed.

Busy place, but service is very efficient. Staff are very pleasant. The spinach and ricotta roll was great, especially the soft but flaky pastry ($5). The long chicken and avo roll was surprisingly delicious too. The bread was of excellent quality. Both of these were a great, light snack.

I thought this place will have quality coffee and croissant comparable to what I had in France and Switzerland but it was not that good. The place itself is cosy to catch up with friends with friendly staffs.
