I know this is a coffee shop but making a good cup of tea is so simple. Hot water on to a tea bag immediately followed by milk is the wrong way to go about things. Asked for an extra tea bag and got the reply "Is your tea not strong enough?"...

The lady who served me was very cheery and helpful. I wasn't buying much only a hot chocolate but it was prepared immediately, with a smile and she even offered me marshmallows without me asking.

I asked if they served fresh breakfast and was told yes. I could definitely tell it was not fresh after the first bite. I asked the girl behind the counter how they prepare their “Eggs Benedict” to find out it was cooked in the microwave which is why they didn’t come out poached as the menu said. Definitely save yourself time and money and head to Long Neck down the way. You’ll be happy you did.

Substandard Breakfast/Coffee. Microwave food and poor coffee. Tried it because of the Toby's Estate Brand, very disappointed. Better go Hungry Jacks near by.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! A catering company posing as a cafe. Terrible coffee made with bulk milk jugs, coffee maker (certainly not a barista) not even checking temp of the milk as it over steamed. Scrambled “eggs” swimming in a pool of water and cold, hard toast. Busy, sure, but good staff can manage busy and still make quality. Obscene prices for absolute rubbish. You’d be better off at HJ’s! $50 for two serves of water eggs and two of the worst coffees I’ve ever had.

This is what you get for $32. And the fish was bad. Tasted under cooked and old. Have a look at the photo and decide.. 3 fish fingers and lots of wedges. Thai is not fish and chip. This is just chips!! Chef and owner should be ashamed!

Shoulda gone to Hungry Jacks! Average coffee, my toastie was not made fresh & tasted old, the service took 15 minutes for it to be delivered to me and the price was $22 for a coffee & toastie. Give it a miss.

Obscene prices and staff couldn't understand anything I said. They tried to give me cappuccino when I asked for cab sav. I asked for small they kept saying "250ml?" which is the larger size. Then they grabbed a bottle of RED wine. Go elsewhere to avoid the cost and the headache.

If I could have give zero stars it would have been more accurate. The food was absolutely DISGUSTING and INEDIBLE! The staff couldn’t care less and I wouldn’t feed whatever it is they serve to my dog. Avoid at all costs!

They have the milk sitting out on the counter, looks like it sits there all day. Yuck.

Man, let me tell you about that sorry excuse for an airport cafe I stumbled into. They had the audacity to charge me an arm and a leg for an Angus burger that wouldn't even pass muster in a school cafeteria. I mean, seriously, it was like they just threw a hockey puck between a couple of buns and called it a day. And the price? It was highway robbery! I'd need a second mortgage on my house just to pay for that sad excuse for a meal. If you ever find yourself in that airport, do yourself a favor and steer clear of that overpriced, underwhelming, so-called "Angus" burger joint. You'd be better off eating the in-flight peanuts.

Poor quality drinks and food for extortionate prices! Bought a chai and a bland sandwich for over $20!! They couldn’t even mix the drink to make it palatable! Ridiculous- passengers please bring your own food!

Find somewhere else or pack your own lunch! As per usual I’m reading thee reviews after ordering and eating …my bad. Ordered the pepperoni pizza, it actually looked good and tasted good except for the distinct lack of pepperoni….and the crust, crispy on the top edges which makes you think it’s going to be ok! The crust was doughy and underdone. I sent it back and 10 min later was the same. Only good thing got a nice pour of Chardy. And the front line staff are lovely!

$17 pint of flat beer and $28 for a cold angus burger and cold chips. I know it’s not compulsory to use these places but they have the monopoly and when I sent the food back they weren’t concerned. Find a pub close by to satisfy your needs

Disgusting coffee taste, music is too loud you can’t even talk, they literally refuse customers , they are locking the coffee machine 1hour before closing time under the pretext that they don’t have barista. They don’t have enough staff obviously as the other day the same person who mopped the floor made my coffee too without washing his hands , he just drop the mop and proceed to coffee counter . Has been advised that it’s not hygienic and I refused the coffee cup. What a shame , disgusting place .

Ordered the breakfast turkish roll. For $18 it's is very expensive, would expect more than 2 thins slices of bacon. Place feels crowded

Unbelievably bad. $21 for "Free range eggs on fresh sourdough" and got two tiny undercooked eggs on 1.5 slices of coles white bread. The bread hadn't even been toasted properly. They kept trying to take the table number back even before the food had arrived. I think the only reason this place stays open is because it is the first cafe people see in the terminal and panic buy bad food massively overpriced. You can get a lot more and a lot better elsewhere for what this place charges. Do not go here, walk further down terminal for something better.

21 dollars for egg on sourdough and they served it on white toast and was terrible. I complained and they bought out the sourdough but it was white bread again. Staff don't care

Within 20 minutes of eating a pizza and side of chips from this shop I was vomiting in the bathroom next door. I have no idea about their practices behind closed doors, but it is very clearly linked.

I knows its an airport i get that but if they are going to charge the earth at least the food could be good. I brought a pie and EMU export $18 . The pie you could have thrown through a window . Burnt tasteless, hard , old and expensive ! Terrible terrible experience. Never again !

Obviously milking it with their prices! And for something so simple like a sausage roll I waited a ridiculous amount of time! Honestly you’re better just going next door to Hjs

  • 1/5 Eli F. 1 year ago on Google
Ordered a cinnamon role and 2 long blacks with extra shot (3 shots). Cinnamon role did not have any cinnamon in it and the coffee ended up in the washroom sink. Coffee not suitable for Sydneysiders or Melbournians.

Ordered 3 items sausage roll, wedges and buffalo wings. It took half a hour for the sausage roll to come out. Wings and wedges never came. Just go to H jays if it is open, this place is a waste of time and money.

Obvious mould on pies in display window, not thanked or apologised when pointed out. Overpriced well beyond normal airport surcharge and poor service. Don’t recommend, hard when limited options but go to Hungry Jacks instead!

High prices and average coffee. I know they've got a captive market but really the prices are too high!

Coffee was kinda meh, and asked for a ham and cheese croissant. Got a ham, cheese and tomato one instead. A little thing, but I'd have preferred what I paid for.

It's in an airport so is expensive. It's one of the only things open at the moment so you have even less choice than usual. I do feel for the poor staff, wearing masks all the time sucks, and they look tired and over it. I had to steal the sugar for my tea because they didn't add any in even though I asked for it. The tea and hot chocolates were okay - nothing special, but I've had much worse.
