0 stars. Bar staff are EXTREMELY rude absolutely no customer service experience and it's obvious. I've been to this venue multiple times for the past few years and have given the benefit of the doubt that this may be their first job and they're still learning. Nothing has improved since then. I understand working in hospitality can be stressful but when a customer asks for water you do not serve them in a passive aggressive manner. This one lady shoved the cup of water so aggressively when giving it to me that the water splashed out of the cup and onto the table, luckily it did not splash onto me. It is a part of your RSA to be able to monitor intoxicated patrons and serve them water when needed. Bartending is not always about making fun cocktails and mixed drinks. Do not apply for a bartending job if you are unable to give the appropriate and respectful service for EVERY customer and the drinks they request whether it be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. I have noticed you are only served nicely if you are already friends with the bar staff. I also do understand towards the end of the night, staff need to clean and pack up the bar hence the water jugs and cups provided outside the bar. People only approach you for water when those jugs run out, no one does it to purposely harass the bartenders. We shouldn't even feel scared to ask for water from the bar anyway. It is only this venue with this kind of disrespectful bar staff. Other nightclubs and venues are way more friendly but it can't be helped when Metro City holds most of the events so this venue cannot be avoided just because of their bar staff. They clearly need more training. Mind you, I asked for water in a polite manner and was treated disrespectfully in return. The cleanliness here is disgusting. The stairs, floors, and every corner of the venue reeks of urine and vomit. Carpet is clearly not the flooring for this venue and it is hard to clean. I doubt it's ever been cleaned because of how sticky it is all the time. The whole floor needs to be ripped out and replaced with something other than carpet. I'm sure this venue has the funds to be able to do so. Reading the past reviews, there have been multiple complaints about the cleanliness here not recently but from many years before and still nothing has been done about it. You would think this venue has had a deep clean because of covid-19 but it looks and smells the same since before the pandemic. Clearly they are too comfortable with how it is now and too lazy to make any improvements and renovations. This venue is Perth's biggest embarrassment.

Who's bright idea was it to have a metal floor? So slippery it's genuinely dangerous. DJs are probably some of the worst in Perth to be honest. Security is also dodgy, tried to tell me I'd already been kicked out until I showed them the Uber receipt which proved I'd just gotten there. Wouldn't recommend, much better nightclubs at better prices

Worst experience of my life. Went there nothing you can say is okay. So arrogant security staff, they are just think they are king of new york but they are nothing. They are misusing their power. They are kicking out the people for no reason. Even if they are not even drinking. And 0/10 to party management staff, no bins to throw the empty glass of drinks. People drinking on the same table and leaving glasses on the same table, so disgusting. Bar tenders are also so arrogant, they just don’t care what you are ordering, they just give you alcohol in soft drink. One of mine friends order the LIT she just give the alcohol in the soft drink. Totally useless to go there, i will prefer to stay home. Rather than going there, just waisting of your good time, and night out.

I’ve been here once and I have to say it’s a very classy establishment from a concert perspective. I saw little Steven and the disciples of soul here. What a close up and great experience! If you find a band you like, this is the place to be. For sure.

Was excited for a night out here for my first time, for my sisters birthday celebration. Soon as each member of my party was let in, I was singled out by the very unprofessional and terrible security staff. Crazy thing is they had no reason for not allowing me in, but simply just because they “said so”. I can only conclude that is is because of how I look and this was a discrimination issue. I wasn’t drunk, nor on any substances and was a full paying customer with a ticket and ID in hand. After being told to wait 30min-1 hour, I attempted to re enter after the time had past. Yet again was not allowed in because he said so, after a flurry of people that were stumbling and mumbling their words were let in, as we as not even being ticket holders. So yes I did point that out and the security did not like that. I was thrown to the ground, my shirt was ripped and beat without even resisting. Thankfully there was a party of people watching from the balcony, who had found me after who are willing to write a statement on my behalf as this was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I’d appreciate if this venue would kindly reimburse my money for my ticket, train their security/ replace them with more experienced individuals and finally work on their discrimination issues. I have yet to receive any word back from management, even after many requests have been ignored. I would highly recommend if any one wants to go to this venue to give it a miss. Also any headlining artist find a better, more safe, secure and professional venue as this could potentially hurt your brand.

Really awesome coming here and seeing the set up Metro's city is still able to pull off. I went to the Delta Heavy concert last night and it was just amazing. I haven't seen lighting displays like that before, and the sound set up was second to none. Unfortunately though the security staff at the event weren't very nice at all. Doors opened at 9pm and I got there an hour late, but the place was still empty. So I asked if I could pass out, and the security guard was so humourless it wasn't funny. It was like he was trying to show as little emotion as possible. As if he read a book the night before called "how to be a security guard" and rocked up the next day. I understand these guys manage some pretty deplorable behaviour at times, but I think it was pretty clear I just wanted to ask a simple question, and was being generally friendly at the time. And he was being so clearly unfriendly. You then compare that to how they managed the 12 or so people repeatedly dancing between the barricades and the stage. What's the point of the barricades being there? The security would come once every half an hour and gently ask people to move out, and they'd come right back straight away. There were some people, one guy in particular, that they'd even let stay there once they'd moved people on. And this guy was actively encouraging people from the audience to come back. All they had was a tiny red piece of fabric the "block" the entrance to the walkway between the barricades and the stage. With no security positioned there, and just this tiny piece of fabric there, of course people aren't going to respect it. And the security would just sit there and watch it happen from the other side of the stage. It just doesn't make sense why the security would be so unkind to someone being generally friendly and just looking for a simple answer to a simple question, but then people who are really being unruly, breaking the house rules, and not following instructions when told to leave that area, are given a free pass to do what they want and come back to do it all over again. It just makes no sense. So overall, an amazing show but very poor show by security.

Not sure who runs this place, but the one event I went to was dodgy as hell. Floor was so sticky you couldn't dance, and they deleted the message I posted about it. Secondly, ever since buying a ticket, I am spammed with SMSes for different Indian events I have no interest in. Strongly recommend you avoid these shady guys.

Terrible venue for live music. No food or air con so people were passing out. The floor is so sticky. Extremely slow moving lines to get in and out of the venue. The only reason I've given 2 stars instead of 1 is because the bar staff were nice and there was easily accessible water.

Went to a show at Metros and my watch was knocked from my wrist. Told bar staff and security, and was told to contact via social media and leave my contact details at the cloak room. After 2 weeks of attempted contact, have heard nothing back despite being told on the night that a watch matching my description was handed in.

The building itself is run down and is in need of upgrading. The positive was that the bar staff were very hospitable and the performer was great. If the building had some renovations done, it wouldn't look so old and out-of-date.

This review is to do with kerser/ JayUFs performance and the whole atmosphere/vibe. To date this was the most hectic craziest loudest live show I’ve ever attended, the only negative was some Gronks upstairs were throwing cups over towards us at the front and at kerser and JayUF. I’m so happy I attended his last ever tour.

Unique layout with multiple levels and viewing points for gigs. Several bars throughout the venue which makes getting a drink easy without long queues. Acoustics are also surprisingly good!

Staff at this venue are awful and didn’t do their jobs properly at the event we attended a few nights ago, never warned us that we would not be able to re enter the event, let us leave and then 5 minutes later charged us the price of new tickets each to come back in. We all had stamps and ticket confirmation but they were SO RUDE and wouldn’t even let us speak. Absolutely awful service I would never come back here and it ruined what should have been a good event.

Attended a show recently. The carpets are disgustingly sticky and the toilets in the upstairs area weren't clearly marked. The alcohol options were very limited with the bars stocked with the cheapest spirits possible.

Brilliant venue but needs more attention to slow staff. Also floors where so sticky that had to clean shoes when we got home and that was at the start of the night. Otherwise great show

There is a blonde guy that works here as bar tender he is rude and arrogant and a lady who gave me the wrong drink one time I was he asked her to give the wrong drink and stood in the background to see my reaction both Caucasian and the lady is blonde aswell I said you gave me the wrong thing and she refused the fix it. They target people at this place avoid at all cost. Nasty bar tender staff and service the ladies at the front don’t help either. Not worth the trouble avoid by any means. Event is Kollabo.

Can honestly say this venue was gross. We attend dragon fire boxing on Friday night and the venue was not up to scratch to be hosting that many people. Upon entry the venue staff couldn’t even direct ticket holders correctly and waved us through with no direction. Spent 10 minutes asking security and bar staff how to find out seats only to be told no one had a clue. Walked back to the entrance to be faced with attitude and rudeness from the lady who then showed us on a map how to find out seats. The toilets were missing seats, holes in the wall for flush buttons but no buttons. Not to mention the had male and female signs on all toilets so they became unisex toilets! Couldn’t even take the ice out of my drink the venue had told bar staff to fill cups 2/3 with ice and not negotiable. Considering our tickets cost us $120 each then $75 on 3 drinks you should have a venue worth the money your taking from people. Grossest and most unorganised venue I’ve ever attended.

DJs are extremely repatative and it closes too early for a club in the city

Always a great time at Metros. Although a blonde bartender could use diversity and inclusion sessions. Full of unwelcoming attitude at an Indian event. Many others around me felt the same. Maybe not the profession for her. Couldn't stop rolling her eyes at customers, crowd and the music.

Intimate venue for live gigs, with the stickiest carpet in Perth. Horrible lines of sight of you're standing in the wrong place, but the sound is great.
