This an such gorgeous park, came here a couple times by myself and with friends to relax and do a few photoshoots. It's a beautiful place, the only complaint is that the parking area is a little bit expensive, it's best to park elsewhere and walk to the park. Relative large park too with lots to admire.

John Oldham Park is a beautiful and peaceful park located in Perth, Western Australia. The park is well-maintained with greenery, tall trees, and plenty of open space for leisure activities. It is an ideal spot for picnics, family gatherings, and outdoor sports. The park also features a playground for children, BBQ facilities, and clean public restrooms. The scenic views of the Swan River make it a perfect place for photography enthusiasts. The park has a walking trail that offers visitors the opportunity to explore the park's natural beauty while getting some exercise. The park is easily accessible with ample parking spaces available for visitors.

A secluded gem hidden in the midst of the busy freeway and one of the major streets flowing into & out of the CBD sandwiched between the famous King's Park and Perth city Skyline. The park offers people to let go of their stressful moments and temporarily relaxing themselves with the mixture of sounds coming from the birds, the mini waterfalls, and the vehicles along the freeway and regularly from the trains! And as well, for those with kids, there are some typical playground features and some not so conventional features especially, a high & long slide!

We acknowledge the Nyungaar people the traditional custodians of these lands as well as their elders past present and upcoming…the little gem in the middle of the city is a bird watchers paradise the many water features including the water Fall make it a calming place which is cool during the hot Perth summer. It’s a short walking distance from public transport is wheelchair (and skateboard) friendly

A lovely hidden gem close to the Perth CBD. Great for a walk, I imagine it would be cool even on a warm day given the amount of shade trees along the walkways. There is a small carpark next to here but it's so close to the city that you could walk or us the bus and get off near Mount Hospital, the park isnacroos the road from the private hospital.

Gorgeous park, very scenic. The waterfall and wooden bridge are pretty, plenty of birds a some turtles to spot and there's a very very long slide to ride. I had my wedding photos taken here, a beautiful place

Has to be one of favourite getaways in Perth. Tucked away and quite hidden. The park has beautiful wildlife and birds. The lake is also breathtaking, never too busy with tourists. If you walk and look you’ll find a hidden garden and waterfall. Playground and cycle paths are around the area too.

Lived in perth for 35 years and I've never been to this park. Big mistake! This place was so magical it made me forget I was in perth. Listening to the waterfall accompanied by the sound of all the different birds around was very calming. There was even a great little playground there for the kids and a really long slide that they thoroughly enjoyed. I don't see as many black swans around the city these days either but there was a lovely little family of them there also. If you want a nice quiet walk with the missus or a day out with the kiddies I definitely recommend. Did I mention there was a bbq area too?!? Do yourself a favour and got check this spot out πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

Lovely little addition to Perths parks even being so close to the freeway and Mounts Bay Road, you don't really notice the traffic noise it's clean and very shady so it's great to stroll around during the warmer months and hotter days. The pond allways has wildlife in it and the waterfall towards the middle if the park is very tranquil and great for a backdrop for group photos, there is a fairly basic area for the kids near the BBQ's and tables it's not alot but it's enough for the more creative kids..

Absolutely beautiful park to take a relaxing stroll. Many bird species to observe. Children's play area and picnic tables. Waterways and Waterfalls with a couple small bridges to explore. As well as a water fountain feature.

Located adjacent to the CBD on Mounts Bay road next to Kwinana Freeway. It is a place where not many people takes notice if they are not cycling or walking and has a long slide near the playground and a small waterfall. It is a like the botanic gardens but smaller and is very green and lush. Very phenomenal park to take a break from the city life! :)
