Beautiful, shady lake and park with plentiful native flora and fauna, electric barbecue facilities, plenty of park benches, and an artificial parrot nest program.

A truly beautiful park, nestled between Perth city and the airport. To get to the car park you need to be travelling towards the airport from Perth on the Hwy and turn left. The city of Belmont has built a Pavilion dedicated to the friendship between them and their sister city in Japan. I took a photo of the inscription in English which is repeated on the other side of the building in Japanese. I simply could not believe that such a wild and beautiful place was so close to the hustle and bustle of Great Eastern Highway which sits a mere 100m away. What an incredible oasis of nature. It's a credit to the city of Belmont it's current custodians, and importantly, to founding father's of Perth who had the foresight to reserve this beautiful riverscape for posterity. 😄

If you have a camera and love to shoot birds, this the right spot. I noticed a lot of honeysuckles flitting through the banksia trees. There are all the other regulars like coots, ducks and storks. I heard a lot of unfamiliar bird sounds and they maybe summer migrants. This area has historically been a reservoir for draining storm water. So the water is murky and there are a few mosquitoes. But there are green open spaces for a picnic and children playthings. OK place.

A pretty little pond with lovely waterfowl viewing platform, picnic tables, and a public BBQ. Set in a nicely manicured park.

We came here for a field trip in urban environmental science, and there are few better locations to do field work. Thanks to City of Vincent, and the Water Corporation, for site access and permission to sample 😊👍

Very pretty lake, street and houses. Would love to live there. Lots of great smells for dogs and interesting places to investigate. For the more energetic, cross over Bourke St to the huge park to run your dog

Visited in May on a lovely warm day (24), and got bitten all over by mozzies. Take repellent!

A nice wetland, electricity substation has impinged on the park area recently, creating an eyesore on one side

If someone could just skim the rubbish off the water this place would be magic.

Lovely little park with nice mostly-native plantings, grassed areas, a viewing platform over the lake, a few bench seats and a BBQ. No toilets.

👍 Great park but terrible parking for a Gala Footy day. At least the council didn't pay parking inspectors to take advantage like nearby town of vincent does for sporting fixtures.
