One of the best park north of the river. Excellent for families, very popular with kids birthday party. Playground is brilliant, the mini flying fox is a hit with the little one. Parking can hard at times.

This park is well shaded. There are 2 playgrounds, one for the older kids and one for the younger ones. Great place to host kid’s birthdays or casual get together.

Great family, close to nature park.. fenced all around for safety and have very clean toilets. There's also another playground just outside, for smaller children.

Lovely place for the little ones and adults. However, a risk assessment of some safety features should be conducted and implemented as there are potential gaps. More sun shades would be welcomed especially with extreme uv during the day.

This is a great park for kids of all ages. cool nature play area for bigger kids and adventurous toddlers, and a great shaded area for younger kids/ babies. There is lots of parking and its fully fenced. Lots of shady spots and big grassed areas for ball games / picnics / parties. There are toilets too. would love to see some more swings and a baby change room would be useful.

My five year old and I enjoyed climbing ropes, hopping logs, jumping rocks and playing on the flying foxes. With a New Norcia Bakery nearby to warm and fill our bellies, this park had been renamed to super-awesome-park!

A really nice park with things for all ages. Toilets great for young kids and had water fountain. Flying fox is cool but blistering hot on a warm day.

Gorgeous naturally-inspired play-space, water fountain, shaded areas, close parking, multiple access points, gated but doesn't feel closed in. Hall available for hire. Ticks a load of boxes for us.

Great local park with plenty of shade on summer days. Fenced off so you can picnic while kids can play.

I've been here today with the grandkids, and they loved it, especially the zip wire. A well laid out and very clean place.

Great park for the kids. plenty of space for them to run around as well as a great playground for smaller kids and another one for bigger kids. The nature playground has some water games as well as platforms in the trees. There is plenty of shade. Toilets are very clean. And there is also a coffee truck.

Great location with fantastic options for nature play! Giving its prime real estate - kudos to the local authorities for keeping it a public park. Very well planned and considered.

Awesome park for the whole family. Great picnic areas and plenty of room to spread out. Loads of things for the kids to do. Don't forget spare clothes as the kids may get wet. Great fun.

Great playground for kids of all ages. Nice little coffee van and the option to set up a small party/function. Also cool to watch the Karate club go at it in the pavilion on Saturdays!

👍 Glendalough Open Space is an excellent place to take your dog for a walk. However there are no bins around, anywhere! I can make do with poo bags not being provided (I bring my own) and no water stations (again, I bring my own). But given there's also a kids' playground - and kids & parents leave ru...
