It is best to visit the falls during late winter, spring and early summer. You can take along a picnic meal, there are well maintained, clean picnic tables in shaded areas. We were lucky to meet a Numbat who, as we got to discover, is accustomed to human comoany and enjoy the occasional photographic attention. The sounds of water is an added bonus.

A fairly big park accessible both from the Joel Terrace and from the riverside walkway. There is quite a large grassy area with sports fields near the road, along with a playground. There is a small driveway along the side to get to the pavilion. There are a few BBQ areas on the river side of the park on the banks. There are also quite a few exercise stations by the walkway in between the statues. A nice park for an outing.

A great river side park with a range of areas to choose from. Picnic under the trees with a great river side view or head to the open space and kick a ball around. There is a great little playground and a really well planted out drainage creek that almost looks like a natural creek. There are exercise areas too and even newly placed fishing platforms if you want to try your luck at catching a Bream. There are bbq and toilet facilities and some nice little picnic tables. All and all a great spot to bring your family, your puppa and your picnic basket. A cycle was goes through this park so choose up stream or down stream. Either way is good for a walk or bike ride with good little playgrounds and scenery dotted along the way.

3.5 stars A Large park along Swan River. Little carpark and Easy packing at street. A lot of trees. Facilities: very simple WC, electric BBQ, long tables and branches with/without shelters, a kid's playground, a skate section with little ramp, and a small half basketball court. Nice place for strolling, skating, picnic and family outing.

Beautiful spot right next to the Swan River with a reasonably small skatepark setup. A flat bank at one end and a small quarter pipe at the opposite end with a round flat rail and a manual pad with ledge that extends out past the ends of the manual pad creating step up and onto ledges front side and back side. No lighting but there's bbq equipment and a children playground right next to the skatepark. Bring your own lights at nighttime and you're guaranteed to have the place all to yourself with a beautiful view of the lights on the Swan River in the background.

A gorgeous location, a little passage to swim by the sand. The playground is awesome for little ones and big ones. The only problem was the swarms of mosquitoes we ran into at 7:30am, no amount of spray was protecting us but that is supposedly to be expected with the Swan River mozzie problem at the moment. Hopefully gets better with council management.

Beautiful views of the Swan, looking across to Belmont and the new stadium (which is magnificent in my opinion) Cycle path alongside the river with a public jetty. Exercise machines in the park and a small children’s playground. Nice place for a picnic.

Nice area to have BBQ picnic with play area for the kids and the beautiful Swan River great scenery with ever parade of passing boats. Walk up River on the pathways or directly on the banks getting your toes wet. Food truck was on site as well, we didn't try this but will do next time as they were super busy and the food smelt amazing. Stay Classy

A nice spot for an outdoor lunch on a Sunday in winter. We went as we wanted to eat from the Omnomnom food truck that is usually the on Sundays. There's another truck there selling drinks and snacks. The reserve has a couple of shelters with tables and benches. There's even a table for fishermen to cut bait and gut fish. A few people launched paddle craft from here and there were lots of people walking their dogs. There's a playground nearby that's usually quite busy. And that means that you may have to park a walk away. The slope leading down to the reserve is a bit steep but there are a couple of disabled parking bays at the bottom. Just be on the lookout as you will need to cross a shared path where many people ride.

This has been our 4th time to this place, such a lovely park! The playground is not big, but enough to entertain my 8yo and 5yo girls. Friday morning is just perfect, not too many people coming and parking is easy, but i know weekend will be much more challenging πŸ˜€ You might want to pack a mosquito repellent if you have sensitive kids like me. There's obly 1 bbq pit, and not 2 big ravle under the pergola, but plenty of space for picnic rugs. This park is also dog friendly.

πŸ‘ Good place to walk a dog off leash. Free poop bags. Keep in mind the park can get busy around 3pm weekdays as the school kids are let out. On afternoons and early evenings, fields are often utilised for a variety of seasonal club sports. Still plenty of space to walk along the paths and edges of the...
