Lovely park in Guildford by the Swan River for either a picnic or a walk along the river. Signs point out the history of the area. A good toilet block is available along with picnic tables and chairs under large shady trees. Bench seats are located along the river if you need to take a rest or just sit and watch the sun go down. A great place for family picnics. Plenty of room for children to run around.

Lilac Hill is a true gem of Midland. With the Swan River meandering through region and rolling well maintained parks this is a great area for families. There are modern toilet and now facilities within an easy walk of the car park. As well as many locations to fish in the river and chase the elusive black bream.

I take my dog there for walks every morning. It's a wonderful park by the river and dog friendly. Nice and cool walks on summer mornings

Strategic location to picnic and unwind. There's an opportunity to engage in recreational fishing and ample parking or can be accessible on foot if using the train from Guildford station.

My yorkies love the freedom of exploring without a leash. It’s truly a gem for dogs and people alike.

Fantastic spot to put the kayaks in and spend the day relaxing on the rivers edge. Public toilets needed some attention.

WeπŸ€—πŸΆ went to the river it has little sand areas for easy access to water & throwing ball, plus large grass areas to walk off the lead. We like it there.πŸ€—πŸΆ

Great place to stop have a break , and have a walk around . Bridge is interesting and good example of work that went into constructing bridge's out of wood. Back in the day. Two playgrounds there to make getting kids to get back into car doubley hard 😁

A tranquil place to stop after a leisurely potter up the river. Loads of places to tie up your boat and make use of the free barbecues.

I love Lilac Hill for many reasons. Fond memories of great Cricket matches reside here still. The place has atmosphere worthy of a great Cricket stadium. Tranquil beside the Swan River it rests whilst no quarter is being offered by opponents in combat for points or bragging rights. An opportunity for all Cricket lovers embracing all genders, beliefs and ability. Only my home ground is better.

Beautiful park near a bridge connecting Guilford to the Swan Valley. Great spot for walking, fishing and maybe some kayaking! There is a sports field adjacent. Some fallen logs and grassy fields with little flowers and ducks looks great during sunset as this photo attached.
