Wow, I was surprised by the size of this park, it's huge. Seemed like a nice place, gravel paths to walk on and alot of room for the dogs to run around.. will definitely be coming back again soon :)

Took my dog here for the first time, she had never been to an inclosed dog park before so i wasn't sure how she would go. The park is separated into two areas for big and small dogs and we were in the small dog section. You are encouraged to let your dog off the lead, and it was a really good experience. A nice bug area for dogs to run and play in. Grass and trees, a few benches, and a small gravel path around the area. Would definitely recommend to people if you want to socialise your dog in an inclosed safe area.

Lovely dog park that divided for big dogs and small dogs. The dogs have been enjoying the walls there. Just make sure you leave by 6pm, otherwise the gates will be closed. Some Thursday they closed the dog parks for maintenance, but usually opens again after 1pm.

This dog park is well maintained and great for big and little dogs alike. There are a number of seats available as well as a mini agility type course for dogs in the big dog park.

Nothing is perfect. So 4 stars. I understand people who are protective of their dogs and try to make my dogs honour that. But here is a bit wild west. BUT It is an amazing place to let the dogs off leash!! If there are other dogs there, your guys can have open free run. BUT.. ..there are sometimes people there whose dogs are a bit OTT and rough, though I have never seen a real attacks in 20 or so visits. There is a "small dog" area. Do not be too proud to use that if you are at all concerned about your small dog's feelings, comfort or safety. We have a 14 YO 18Kg girl who is a tough ex-farm BC Cross working girl with total guts but weak back legs. She has come to no harm. So be prepared for dogs behaving like dogs and the occasional owner who does not understand. But this place is perfect to allow dogs to behave like dogs. I believe I saw an owner recently who allowed their little spaniel to be mauled in "play" by another dog 3X times its weight. _I_ was concerned. So there is a danger of "toughening up my dog" here, etc

Love this dog park i have never experienced issues with others dogs here. Every time i have been everyone has been friendly and respectful of each others animals. Great all round park. It literly has everything numltiple kids parks heaps of facilities spreay across a large area all dog friendly on lead. Ther are also 2 off lead parks a smaller one for smaller dogs and a bid one for massive dogs. The dog park heaps of facilites for dogs. There are agility areas, shaded areas under trees great for playing with other doggo's. There are plenty of parking either in front of the dog parks or between the kids park and dog park. Doggy poop bags at all entries. There is a walking track just inside the fence line which is about a 500m circuit. Just a few laps to get your daily kms done. There are regular drining fountains for us dogs all around the walking track. There is shelter under trees or specially built for the huumans. All of which has plenty of seating for them. The only down side of this park is the lazy huumans (or poorly trained) who dont pick up after their dogs. Lots of dog poop in the park and even on the walking track. There are even signs for both huumans and dogs. Overall I give this park 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴 It has it all.

The dog park was under maintenence so we took a walk around the park instead. Very pretty and serene. Quiet except for the sounds of nature.

The dog park itself is great, but would be perfect if every owner was vigilant about their dogs.

Large exercise area with obstacle course and benches to sit on and plenty of drinking fountains for your dog. Bins and bags are supplied so you can clean up after your dog easily. There is a separate park for smaller dogs adjacent to the larger one.

My dogs love this park. There's tons of space in the dog park. My dogs can either play with other dogs or just chill alone

The dog park is literally overrun with litter, watch where you step, and aside from the occasional feral owner bringing an unregistered (with no tag) and agressive breed, most owners act responsibly. Would probably recommend owners taking their dogs on weekends or early in the week

Lots of space, nice enclosed area, with the option of walking around Whitman park with your doggo companion of course. The cafe by Pia's place do nice coffee and the muffins are a bargain.

Nice big secure area for dogs with lots of shady trees but despite lots of signs not everyone follows the rules such as being in good control of your unleashed dog which sometimes makes it unsafe for dogs.

This place is awesome! Huge area for dogs to run and play! I drive from Scarborough to visit this dog park because the enclosed parks around me are so small. It's a great place to socialise your dog, and the people are lovely dog lovers that are understanding if your dog is a 'learner'

👍 $10 for adults and it’s unlimited ride during the day. There are not that many seats on the train but not that squishy. Excellent view and it only takes 20mins for a ride. Didn’t see that many kangaroos as other commenters but saw one! Recommended to come for a ride then go to Caversham wildlife par...
