Glendalough Open Space is an excellent place to take your dog for a walk. However there are no bins around, anywhere! I can make do with poo bags not being provided (I bring my own) and no water stations (again, I bring my own). But given there's also a kids' playground - and kids & parents leave rubbish scattered around - a bin here or there would be invaluable.

I like Glendalough Open Space, just find it needs a bin or 2 for dog walkers and picnic go-ers. Lovely space though with a playground for children. Lots of different bird species and lovely sights at sunset.

Beut little spot, well maintained and a nice little loop. Dog friendly, but keep them on the leash as plenty of Birdlife and tempting ponds...

Great little nature park for a casual stroll or take the dog for a walk. Limestone trail around the lake with a couple of cute gazebos where the path crosses over the lake. Lovely lush green grassy areas, with a few benches to sit and watch the bird Life. Dogs allowed on leash. Kids playground. But NO public toilets. Paid parking week days, weekends are free. Recommend a visit.

Great little nature spot for watching birds and creatures in the wetlands. Great for walking dogs on leads and having a picnic

Appreciate the rare quiet natural beauty minus the inconsiderate loud walkers, zapping E cycles and scooters or posers exercising.

Great 8km walk around the lake, full loop (without detours) takes about 2 hours. It's an easy walk (no steep parts) with a few benches along some parts of the path. There are multiple car parks, and some playgrounds. Beautiful views and heaps of birds!

It's nice here, gets a bit busy around lunch break time though. Watch out for snakes.

Lovely little park with lots of birds, however no bins provided, no toilets and very little parking taken up by office workers all day. We had to park pur car.down the road in paid parking just to visit the park.

Very nice walk. Lake with lots of water fowls. Pity no rubbish bins. People not picking up dog poo because of that.

Lovely feel. On lead and off lead. Easy to see other dogs if you need to escape. Easy to get to for me.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of the best park north of the river. Excellent for families, very popular with kids birthday party. Playground is brilliant, the mini flying fox is a hit with the little one. Parking can hard at times.
