Everything was really yummy. It had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of heaters outside so we didn’t realize how cold it was until after we left. Delicious Thai food. Will come again for sure.

Had dinner here with six people, so we ordered a wide variety of dishes. I can't claim to be a Thai food expert, but I can say the flavours were amazing. All dishes were fantastic, but I'd say the Tumeric Crispy Pork and the Signature Chicken wings were my favourites. Definitely worth coming back.

Finally get to try this place and it exceeded my expectation! The yellow chicken curry and stir fried mixed veg were so good and big in portions they were enough to share amount 3 of us. The food was so authentic and fine. Better than many Thai restaurants even in Thailand. 👍🏼

Me and my two girlfriends dined here last night to celebrate both their birthdays. The service was excellent right from the entry till the end. Although the restaurant interior wasn't huge, we felt cosy and well catered for. The starter and mains were delicious, we felt the dessert selection needed improving. Had crab cakes starter, mains Tom Yum soup, Beef curry, fried whole fish, fried rice noodles which were all very tasty. Beautiful cocktails! Will definitely recommend and be back again!

My NEW FAVE for THAI!! A Beautiful restaurant with beautiful staff, lovely atmosphere AND nice Cocktails too! The food (on both occasions) were very well presented and of good portions, authentic tasting and found that their menu has a good variety of options to choose from. During the separate occasions we tried the Pad Thai - both (vegetarian and one WITH Prawns, Tom Yum Soup, Stir Fry Veg, garlic Prawns, sticky rice, and in addition - our friends indulged in the “banquet for 2” and EVERY dish was COOKED TO PERFECTION!! Already am looking forward to our next visit!! 😊

Best Thai food I have ever had in Perth. Firstly, thr food was served promptly even though we had ordered 10 dishes. Secondly they were all presented in a very attractive way (see photos). Thirdly, the food was flavourful and there was no dish that felll short of the mark. Finally, the place looked cool, clean and welcoming with an indoor or Al fresco dining options. Staff were attentive without being in your face. Parking is the only hassle in the are so uber or public transport there if u can.

It was a particularly cold night, and we were looking for a good place to warm up our freezing butts. We didn't have a reservation, but they still accommodated us even on a busy Friday night, wait time was only about 5 mins. The staff were very busy but were nice and welcoming. Immediately, we were greeted by the warm aroma of their dishes, very herby but pleasant. Since it is a Thai resto, we had to order their Pad Thai and Tom Yum Soup. Since we were extra tired from work, we added Yellow Chicken Curry, as well as tried their Feid Rice with Sundried pork. Firstly, their Tom Yum Soup for us, is a big winner! It was the perfect soup dish on a chilly Friday night. The herbs and spices were perfectly complimenting each other. Every sip from the dish felt like a warm hug from a lovely Grandma who took their time cooking the dish. The Pad Thai was a different kind to what we've tasted before. It was almost slimy in texture but was very flavourful, not too sweet unlike other's versions. We're not Thai, but this is probably one of the best pad thai's we've tasted in Perth. The rice and curry dishes were also good additions. The simplicity of the curry was enough to appreciate it, and the chicken was soft and not dry. The sundried pork in the fried rice was sweet. It was a nice combination with the fried rice that had a bit of smokey/burnt flavour to it. Overall the food was delicious and we felt invigorated by the strong herby and spicy flavours. The whole experience was very comfortable and satisfying. Our cold and hungry stomachs were happy in the end! It was as if we were welcomed home and were fed soulful homecooked meals after a long tiring day at work. The price is alright, I thought it was fair and priced right, you'll know when you taste their dishes. We will certainly come back and try their other dishes. Highy recommend+++!!

Upon walking in, the atmosphere was awesome. Makes you feel welcomed. We made a booking for 2 but the lady was too busy to get us seated. Finally we got to our table and took us a while to get the attention of the waitress to order. Ordering process was smooth. Food came out relatively quickly. Pad Thai was yum, as well as the betel leaf wraps. Also ordered the Phuket style braised pork belly. The taste was fantastic but some of the meat was tough and did not melt in my mouth. Papaya salad was good and refreshing. Upon leaving, I did briefly saw that one of the chef was an elderly Thai grandma, which gave me reassurance that the recipe may have been passed down from generations. Will come back again to try the others.

Very generous portions, great quality, probably one of the best Pad Thais I've had. Recommend getting a seat outdoors, as indoors can be a bit stuffy.

Have been here over 2 years! The food is always amazing and taste real Thai ! I had the fried barramundi, I noticed it took so much job to peel all the fish first and cook and deep fried again. That’s so good with rice and beer !! Pad Thai is the best in the Perth ! And price is so reasonable too! Love here ! Thank you for let me taste so many different style Thai food !

Food is good but price is expensive . Every dish only a little food . Pork is good , so juicy. If price cheaper I will happy to go back. Papaya salad is tasty.

Solid Thai food - one of the most flavour filled in Perth. Super good takes on some of the dishes and great complexity going on. We ordered a few dishes that friends had recommended to try out, each of them had complex and deep flavours that really are quite outstanding. Even the Tom yum soup was not standard! The best dish is the fish, cooked perfectly and flavoured tastefully. Really good stuff. The price of the dishes is definitely on the high side - but they are still packed every night for a reason. Venue is easy to get to but on a weekend parking is not going to be fun so plan for that. The waiters are always polite despite how busy it is, and the lady that took my booking originally only had outdoor seating but by the time we got there she had managed to find a table inside for us - great service. If you want an indoor seat on the weekend you will almost definitely have to book it. If you like Thai food I think this is one of the top 5 in Perth, so give it a go!

Got the roast duck salad, fried rice with sun-dried pork, rice dumplings, chicken curry, Thai pancake and old fashioned red curry. Recommend the rice dumplings, fried rice and curries. The food was delicious but watch out fellas because it is also 🥵🥵🌶️🌶️🔥🔥.

We came here a few times and we always find a great cozy place. I was very much looking forward as we find the food here delicious, with a great combination of flavor that you don’t expect, modern Thai cuisine, overall a true experience. This time I was a bit disappointed, menu changed (at least layout) with still the best seller dishes; although there was something off. We ordered the crab rolls and they were fine with an awesome sauce to dip on the side, the prawn pancakes were very much disappointing and I found a piece of “fat pork” inside, that’s what they said, that couldn’t be chopped at all even with the fork. After I asked to change the plate with this “fat pork” the waitress gave me back the plate saying that’s the “pork fat” thinking I wanted to use for the main; so I replied again “Can I have a fresh plate and keep that one?”. And then I thought “pork fat in the prawn pancake? why is not written in the menu that prawn rolls contain pork?! What if I have religious belief and don’t eat pork?!”. Average Tom yum soup and turmeric crispy pork was ok.d

The service was great. However, I didn’t enjoy the two dishes I ordered as much as I thought I would. The pad Thai was missing ingredients it didn’t taste like a proper pad Thai was definitely missing flavours i don’t think it had any Tamarind so lacked in flavour. Second dish I ordered was the papaya salad and it literally had zero spice. I’m not insensitive when it comes to spice by any means but this was not what I was expecting when ordering a papaya salad from a Thai restaurant. Thai milk tea was nice though.

Went there for dinner last night. I asked for a table outside and got the best table there. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was exceptional, ambience incredible. Tom Yum soup was stunning although could have been spicier but was excellent. Really love this place and can’t wait to go back

Im Thai, tried this place for the first time over the weekend. To my surprise the food is really good but the service needs improvement. The waitress didn’t communicate clearly as it was difficult to understand her and she forgot to order my main. The food took a while to come out and fortunately we followed up about my crispy barramundi curry order when all the other dishes had arrived. We didn’t want to reorder it as we had already been there for over an hour.

Fresh and delicious food, really well balanced flavours and nice sized portions. The restaurant is bright and fresh, a little noisy but it was a busy Saturday night. Polite and friendly service. I will definitely be going back.

Service is excellent, staffs were attentive and cheerful. Good: Food was delicious, full of flavour, we ordered the chilli yellow chicken curry, beef curry, tomyum, turmeric pork, turmeric fried fish, and coconut ice cream for dessert. Bad: The portion for each dish is small compared to other Thai restaurant. Even the rice comes in small containers which we think could be larger. The food here is not as spicy as other Thai restaurant, so if you enjoy spicy food you might want to request extra spicy when you order.

Amazing food and ambience! Super friends and respectful staff. Starters and mains were perfectly made to my needs!! And the desserts were just the cherry on the top!

They do very good Thai Milk Tea! Staffs are friendly and smiley! The pork skewers were on point! You can choose to have chicken or Prawn for the pad thai and we chose chicken. But, it was disappointing that there were only 4 pieces of chicken (that we were able to see and count). The noodles itself was chewy but personally thinking, a bit too chewy. The turmeric crispy pork and the chicken wings were okay but not very surprising. So I would give a 3 star for this time.

Very cozy little restaurant providing great and caring customer service and delicious Thai meals. Turmeric pork is an absolute must! I also had papaya salad which was super favourable and spicy just like I requested! I’d like to try their $49 pp platter menu next time. Extensive drinks menu and interesting cocktails on offer. You won’t be disappointed.

Great service and friendly staff. We ordered variety of food to taste different dishes and were not disappointed at all. Beautiful setting for inside or outside seating and have a decent range on the drinks menu too. I recommend everyone to try atleast once if you love Thai food.

A nice cozy place to dine out with friends and colleagues. As an Indian, I prefer my food to be spicy and Baan Baan was the perfect place for my palate. The menu also offers gluten and dairy free options. I will return to try more with family. Their fish wrapped in banana leaf was the highlight of the evening. Great staff as well.

Great atmosphere. Good prices and very, very tasty food. Fully licenced. Dine inside or as it warms up they have tables outside. We will definitely be visiting again and working our way through their menu. If you want a place you can take your other half or even the kids try this place.

This is my second visit to Baan Baan Restaurant. I am very impressed with the food quality and the service. I was there for my friend's birthday. We ordered 3 entrée and 5 main dishes and a bottle of red to share. Everything we ordered were well cooked and well seasoned!! Everyone was very happy and the bill is very reasonable!! It was 5 of us and the bill was 256$. I will definitely go back there for many more times!!
