The sister of the famous venue in Mount Lawley and never disappoints. Great atmosphere created by the friendly and speedy staff. Coffee was lush with sizable portions of breakfast, great value for $$. Very busy showing plenty of people putting their trust in these guys for their morning pick me ups. Highly recommend if you're in the city for coffee catch ups and breakfast.

The staff took yhe coffee orders but the coffee machine was not working, no warning, 20 min later agreed to refund, no sorry, nothing. Nice interior but that's it. Never again.

Fried chicken with maple syrup was the highlight where the sweet and savory combination was amazing. Nice ambience, reasonable price and spacious. It is a good place to go stop friends to have a nice brekkie and chill for a bit :)

Wow. Terrible. I sat in and the wait staff were pretty miserable and rude. My coffee was cold. I ordered the bacon & egg roll. It was a pre-made roll, which usually isn't terrible. However, this roll was inedible. It was reheated in the sandwich press so was totally flat and thin. The egg was so overcooked, it was so tough and rubbery I couldn't eat it. I walked out leaving the coffee and the roll.

We came here based on an article that promised a delicious brunch and have never been more disappointed... the dirty chai tasted more like dirty dishwater, the almond croissant was about as good as a door stop, you might need a visit to the dentist after trying to bite through that. The chicken sandwich was quite the opposite, wet, floppy and packed full of grease. I had hopes for the chocolate cookie but it seems, that it was made weeks ago and was drier than Gandhi's flip flop. The hot chocolate was bang avarage at best. We left sorely let down, hungry and severely lacking saliva, which only returned with dreams of chu bakery

Mary Street Bakery was our last stop on our Mystery Picnic experience. We were expecting to pick up a vegan meal component but found that a vegetarian option had been ordered for us instead. The manager and staff went over and above what was required and made sure that I walked away with a beautiful vegan salad and desert at no extra cost to me. You made my day!

What a fab place!!! The coffee is good, the pastries are always a tasty delight - doesn't matter what you buy - and the food is quite adventurous. Our first breakfast here we had the Fried Chicken Buttermilk Pancakes and the Omlette Prawn Nam Jim. The pancakes are a HUGE serving (feels like you get 1/2 a chicken) but tasty and the omlette was cooked to perfection. Like other reviewers have said, the outdoor seating and central CBD location is great but can get a little windy at times. Love how light and clean this place always is! The service is pretty good; most of the staff are friendly with a good sense of urgency although we have been served by one or two who are a little nonchalant and even pretentious. This won't stop us from going back though.

Had a lovely chill breakfast here upon early morning arrival in Perth. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, recommended a new coffee bean roast that went down clean and smooth (especially for a non-coffee drinker), heated up a satisfying breakfast of chicken pie and ham&cheese croissant. Will be back to try more!

COVID is no excuse for this kind of service. This is not how you serve costumers. Either close the shop down or remove the table service if you are not willing to put plates on the table. This is shameful. On top of this, they completely ignored our request to warm up the tarts.

Started a new job around the corner and was excited to try the place out. Went to get myself a pastry before heading to the office. Straight away I felt unwelcome and was made to wait a while before being asked for my order dispite no other customers being present. Got a strong negative vibe from the staff. Won't be going again.

Excellent customer service. The whole team is always extremely helpful and hardworking. No matter how busy it is, the girls always have a welcoming smile on their face. Coffee is superior to any competitors.

Decent speedy service with a queue. I didn’t try any food, but the iced coffee was made quickly even with a queue ahead of me. Although fragrant with a good first note, there was an odd sour aftertaste. Subsequent sips were coloured by this sourness.

I come here every time I am in the office. The coffee is amazing and the staff are beautiful, it is a delight to see them and talk to them each day, it is the highlight of my morning. I do not miss the cash payment options, I think most establishments should be cash-free. Mitigates the risk of robbery and the spread of disease. Plenty of other archaic cash cafes around if you’ve just emerged from your cave.

Mary Street Bakery! I would probably say that this bakery is a must for all coffee lovers. The drinks and foods were all tasty and worthwhile. In the back you can find a big lobby where you can sit and relax. This place is indeed perfect for studying and chilling out. It has a good ambiance and is not too crowded. For me it's perfect to go with a book to forget the time and a Iced Chai to drink. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! A memorable place to relax.

Every time I come here the service is really average, a smile and hello go a long way and unfortunately this really affects the fact that we are coming to buy your coffee and baked treats. It makes you think twice about whether you want to come here regularly or go elsewhere such as Playa cafe down the road who are really nice genuine people.

Swing by for great pastries and sandwiches. Ham & Cheese croissant hit the right spot. Chicken sandwich had roasted red pepper in soft and fluffy Turkish bread. Passion fruit custard donut was simply a luxurious treat.

Got myself a flat-white which to be perfectly honest was very average but for the price wasn't too bad. They also accommodated the use of my own coffee cup, the jam bun however was to die for, i can go on and on about this strawberry filled god send. Was a little busy at the time so was unable to get a seat inside but was able to get one outside however rather cold.

Pastries are very delicious but my favorite is the cinnamon donut. Their coffee is also a best seller.

Coffee was so so but the sausage roll and bacon sandwich were on point Donuts were sweet and decadent, pairs well with coffee and tea

I bought a lemon pecan donut. Absolutely awesome. $6 is quite a bit, but taste is amazing. Fluffy, not too sweet, perfect amount of lemon and with the pecans a great combination. Can't complain about the service (visited around 11.30am).

Made an order a few days ago, and Uber took a long time to get a driver out to grab our order. The coffee ended up being cold, not MSB’s fault. I let them know when I made the next order, and today the coffees were nice and hot, fresh and they added a treat to say sorry (even though it wasn’t their fault)!! Looking forward to getting out to the bakery once our quarantine stint is over :)

Just came for take away. Lined up to buy a Brulee tart, $6.5 and a Chocolate Croissant, $6. Three staff at the front desk were very busy. Chocolate Croissant did have little chocolate in the very middle. Croissant was crispy. Brulee Tart was ok.

A sweet escape in the middle of the city. Love the cozy setting, great coffee and sweet treats. For me the doughnuts and cakes could be less sugary but the chocolate tart and cheesecake I tried recently were just right.

Great doughnuts - incredibly fresh and delicious. Coffee was tasty, maybe one of the best I’ve had in perth. Atmosphere in here is great to work and enjoy your food. Staff were friendly. Only negative was that the longer I sat here the more amazing things I smelt and thereby wanted to buy... 😂

I don't unerstand why people love Mary street Bakery, nothing special. Veggie sandwich ridiculous small for $11, the lady at the register more interest in chatting with colleagues and bit rude when payment (not telling the amount and not sorry as they refuse to take the national currency (cash, covid is not an excuse). And top of that, 1 only 1 napkin... What a poor service, won't be back. One day maybe you will learn about customer service 🤫

Amazing donuts and pastries. Immaculate and so very consistent every single time you eat from there. Coffees are a stand out too!

I come here everyday for my coffee! It is so nice to go to a cafe where it is so clear that the employees love their job. Everything here is consistent, the good coffee, the food, and the smiles from the staff!! Best cafe on the terrace, can not recommend it more!
