I went to Odyssea to have a drink with a view after work on a hot Tuesday afternoon. The venue was mostly empty and I managed to scores a bar table right in the corner of the balcony. Ordering is through a QR code and my Espresso Martini arrived within a couple of minutes. It was perfectly made, so I was very happy. The view was simply stunning. I’ll definitely come back and try this place out for lunch.

Really good service on Saturday night, good drinks list, amazing looking cocktails. The food was really good especially the crab pasta and the chicken mains, and we didn't have to wait long for it. The entrees were good and looked lovely, but perhaps needed some sort of acid or something to lift the beetroot salad which was rather mild. Would go back!

Drinks, well done, amazing cocktails. However, Festive menu - Terrible = ( Mains: The Chicken was a boiled breast with no taste at all. Literally just boiled (On top of if they put some veggies but overall is simple and tasteless and dry) Definitely not recommended. = ( = ( = ( The salad offered as main, is not a main, literally it only has some greens like a garden salad. A main salad should contain at least (Tofu, lentils, Cheese or something else to be called main). = ( Lam ribs were overall good according to my colleagues. = ) Chips: No-one can fail on chips. At least they were tasty and fresh with tomato sauce. = ) Entree: Not to bad. Overall it was much better than mains specially the Seafood Chorizo Croquette. = )

Beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous beach-side location. Went during a crisp winters night and it was perfect. Arrived just before sunset so got a stunning view before our meal. Food was delicious and came out very quickly. It was quiet as expected in winter, but the amenities, food, and service were excellent despite being out of peak season. I will be returning with friends for sure. Dessert was perhaps the only room for improvement.

Lovely ocean views and diverse menu. Prices pretty good especially in regards to location! A busy place, but the turnover seems to flow quite nicely. You can grab a menu and find a table yourself. The service was quick and friendly. Had the pulled pork vegetarian option and that was great! Good flavour and size. The heirloom carrots were smaller sized tho. The carrots and bread were nice but the vinegar on the kale was a bit much, especially contrasting the sweeter maple sauce on the carrots. Chai latte was nice but smaller than expected.

Food was tasty and good portion size. Korean fried cauliflower and the market fish were our favourites. Cocktails are absolutely amazing - we ordered the coconut tequila, pavlova blossom and lemon meringue.

From start to finish, my visit to Odyssea was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The staff were absolutely incredible, and the food was to die for. Served so promptly and the most delicious flavour combinations. I relied on recommendations from the charming servers, and was really glad I did. Since it was my first time in WA, I wanted to sample some local produce and local wine and it couldn't have been any better. To top off an amazing visit, I was actually about to order an Uber but my phone had run flat. Coming to my rescue, the staff charged my phone for me while I watched the sunset before heading off. Couldn't recommend Odyssea highly enough -- thank you so much to all.

Overall it's a good restaurant. Nice view of the ocean and friendly staff. Highly recommend the potato and salad as side. Mushroom dish very tasty and Fettuccine well served and seasoned. And the cocktail Eleanor sixty it's a must.

We had such a fantastic experience at Odyssea today, the service especially stood out as being amazing- so friendly, professional and attentive. We had a group with a request for separate billing and nothing was too much trouble. The meals and drinks were lovely and well priced, and of course the view is perfection. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Came here for a birthday lunch. The views overlooking City Beach were gorgeous. Everything I tried was delicious, but the stars of the table would be the Brussel Sprouts & Kimchi Fritters. I will be back to have these two dishes again. Yum! I had the Vegetarian Gnocchi, which was home made and very good. My Mum had the Tortillas, which she said was good but a little too crispy which made it difficult to pick up and fold. My Dad had the Seafood Chowder, which did not pack as much flavour as he expected, but said it was still good. My partner had the Kangaroo, which looked to be over done. He wasn't entirely happy with this meal, but he did enjoy the sides of Truffle Potatoes.

Booked in for our Fathers Day dinner & we were thoroughly impressed. The food was magnificent - huge shout out to the chefs! The service was immaculate - thank you to all front of house staff for their polite conversation & welcoming energy! The venue was clean & the view was absolutely beautiful! Only disappointment was on me - I forgot cash to leave tips… Will be booking in again for future & will be bringing cash next time to thank you all properly. Keep up the great work team!

Fantastic WA experience. We are visiting from Auckland and loved our experience at Odyssea. Unique (and delicious) cocktails, fresh entrees, vibrant mains ( I had the market fish) and delectable desserts. To top it all off, hospitable and attentive service and stunning sunset. We sat outside and enjoyed the relaxing fare with chill vibes and the gentle sea breeze. Wish I took more pictures. This place is a must visit.

Large size restaurant with alfresco area, verandah with the view of auditorium and ocean. Food is good but can't order outside of the menu. Alcohol is available.

A deck looking onto pristine, white sands and The rolling waters of The Indian Ocean, for as far as the eye can see. An added bonus that the cocktails and mocktails are divine too.

Had lunch with a friend I had the scotch fillet and my friend had the chicken both where nice and tasty , the little one had kids fish and chips, the drinks where 2 mocktails which where nice. The food came all out togheter. Even got a steak knife offered. Sadly the chicken was a bit black on the one side and had some skin left on it. But definitely had a great time and nice view to the ocean

WA for Ukraine fundraiser evening was fantastic. So many wonderful volunteers to make the event a success, including all the service staff! The food and wine pairing were sensational. The entertainment went off without a hitch and the art for auctions incredible. The venue really did provide such a warm relaxed atmosphere for the event 👌💕

Food has gone downhill a lot. Grilled squid was actually fried and very chewy, like it was precooked and reheated - gave up on the dish after my jaw got sore chewing them. There was more batter than squid. Kids fish and chips used to be fresh, now its the frozen kind and overcooked. Maybe having the same problems staffing as everywhere else but I was really disappointed this time. Would not suggest if you are in a hurry. You pay mainly for the view, which is lovely. Cocktails looked nice.

Ordered cauliflower, squid, and tortillas for entrees &Market fish and salmon for mains. Food took quite long to come, Squid was battered and cold, Tortillas and market fish needed more sauce. Salmon was terrible, Only yummy thing was cauliflower (8/10) Ps. We have a stomach ache.

I went for my anniversary without a booking on a Tuesday lunch, got a great table, enjoy the food and the drinks, shout out to the bartenders and the chef. Service however was not the best but it looked like it was some new staff. The view is amazing.

  • 2/5 Peter H. 2 years ago on Google
Sadly, this place is very overpriced for what they deliver. Staff are attentive but a little too much so, coming to the table way too frequently. A bit like the number of flies, which didn’t go away at all! Food was “ok” at best, not a lot of taste (we had kangaroo and salmon). Not too many choices on the menu unfortunately. Desserts were very strange to say the least (see pic). Drinks were all good however and the view of course. Better to go to local pub and pay 1/3 the price for a tastier/larger meal and less interference from wait staff.

Loved the food and the view 😍 if you want to enjoy a good meal with a stunning view of the beach below, this is the place! I had their mushroom and sweet potato kale salad that was absolutely delicious. My friends were also very happy with their choices. Great coffee too!

I keep coming back, sometimes on my way for a little lunch bite, sometimes in the evening. I love the changing menu items, high quality, fresh ingredients and surprising taste combinations! Amazing food, quick and lovely service, priceless view. Music is in the background only, different to so many other places. Go here if you are around!

Was blown away by the location and service, the food was excellent, some amazingly complex flavours that just seemed to work so well together. This place has risen to the top of my to go list. For the wine drinkers the range is awesome.

Great spot on the beach .. surfing shop nearby so I guess you will be able to watch surfers during the day. We walked in without booking and found a table without a problem .. but it is out of season so I think we were lucky! The staff were friendly, helpful and well-trained which made the experience even better. We had the bread and olive oil followed by the scotch fillet (mouth wateringly awesome!), my partner had the lamb dish. It wasn't as much if a hero. Puddings were presented and we dived in .. the bread and butter pudding was perfect! Great place .. definitely plan a visit!

Walk in breakfast, so sat out on the deck. Perfect morning for it. New method of ordering from the counter (since my last visit). Only scrambled or poached eggs available, no fried. GFO options +$. Prices generally a bit higher. Quality value coffee. Helpful smiling staff.

From the main dishes we ordered the ScotchFillet and Salmon. Both tasty but the Salmon even more. Highly recommend the Coconut Dome from desserts list. Overall good food and ambiance, although we had to wait to have the table cleared for coffee order!! Will return again.

I never like to eat the same dish twice... but I just had to order the chicken. Its amazing! The 2 course lunch for $45 of an entree and main. I chose the Brussels Sprouts which was very generous and delicious. Another enjoyable lunch.. we'll return again for sure.
