Great park in the middle of Perth suburbia with views to the city and sea at various lookouts. A popular destination for "bush walking." The park is managed by the Kings Park Board. Staff/park rangers do a daily drive on all open walking paths to ensure the paths are safe to traverse. Highly recommended.

A great native park with walking trails perfect for a stroll or jog, parking at various points, and areas with a beautiful view over the beach and surrounding suburbs. If you're new to the park, it's best to take a look at the map before you embark so you not only know where you parked but can also plan the length of the trail you choose as some can be quite long before you return to your point of origin and the path can have a few hills to trek through. Other than the largely unsealed footpaths and the odd park bench, it's undeveloped to preserve the natural habitat so be prepared to take what you need and leave with what you take in.

Bruh this place is soooooooooooo amazing. It's the perfect place to go on a trip. It's close to the beach so you can walk ten minutes and be in a completely different landscape, I think that's quite beautiful and so convienant especially for an area that is close to the city. I went on a Friday in January this year and stayed for a few hours in the afternoon. I only walked past about four people and they were all so nice just chilling too doing some walking. Walked probably for two hours in total with a couple sitting breaks. So yeah there are a bunch of nice benchs to sit on cause the benches were placed in some spots along the trail for people to sit on if they feel like sitting. The trails were comfortable and easy to walk on. There's maps to help you choose which trails you want to walk. The wildlife all around including the trees and plants along with the birds and stuff make for a really genuine and loving experience of nature. I love this place come visit ☺️☺️☺️🌷🌹💐🤎💕💝💘

Great spot for a long walk in the Australian bush. So close to the beach, right on the Indian Ocean coastline, close to the city of Perth. Good amount of parking however I didn't see any toilets or water fountains. Take water with you. The is some shade along the track but I'd also recommend covering up and / or using a good sunscreen, maybe take an umbrella to provide some shelter from the Australian sun. As mentioned above and despite the lacking in facilities Bold Park does offer an excellent space for a walk through a unique bushland setting.

The Zamia trail is a great walk that does a loop of the park. It takes about an hour and a half to complete. The walk has some steep inclines but it’s worth it for the panoramic views. You can see the Perth CBD, Fremantle, Rockingham, Rottnest Island and more of the surrounds. Lots of native wildlife about if you keep a keen eye. Nice to have the coastal breeze on a warm day too.

This place is still a hidden gem! How doesn't everyone know about it?? It offers many trail options. Stunning views over the city and the ocean. Save yourself the big drive out to the hills for your trail walk - just come here! Dog friendly if they're on a lead. Park near the Perry Lakes oval. Note : no toilet facilities or fresh water available on the trails.

If you're up for a walk through a challenging nature reserve this is the place for you. The near constant change in elevation and turning paths keep the walk interesting. You will also be rewarded by interesting trivia boards and grand vistas of the city and coast line at set points. If you have little ones in a pram, this will be really challenging as not all the path ways are sealed. Yes, I tried -- not doing that again. If you're going with a furry friend, keep in mind that there are no bins on the track -- which, needless to say, is the safest place to be as the bush can be quite dense in places and the slopes quite steep. Is it good for a bike ride? I've seen the lycra crews on push bikes going up and down the few sealed paths there are, but the majority of unsealed paths through the scrub, I think it makes this a park for walkers. Well worth a visit for something different right in the middle of suburbia.

4.5/5. The road is very open, it is flatter than the stone road, the line of sight is very open, you can look at the sea level of Fremantle, the forest is very wide, so it looks like the deep forest is also very interesting, there is a small park at the foot of the mountain to play skateboarding and basketball, dog-friendly, welcome to enter. The disadvantage is that wearing shorts can feel itchy, I don't know why.

We did the Zamia 5km trail which was fairly flat so good for beginner hikers. The views were stunning, and its dog friendly too! I did see a few bee hives so just be careful if your dog or kids are allergic to bees.

Beautiful walk through nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Dog friendly, but ensure to bring water for your pet (& you) as there are no drinking fountains. Nice viewing spots of the ocean and Perth city. Best parking areas can be found on Perry Lakes Drive.

If you look closely in the Spring you will find beautiful native orchids at Bold Park. They are hard to find but when you do it's amazing. The 360° views are sensational and the trails make for a challenging stroll in this beautiful inner-city park.

We parked at Reabold Hill. Depending on the time the car park might already be full. We walked down and did the Camel Lake and Tuart Walk as there seemed to be a lot of people doing Zamia already. Camel Lake is pretty flat with a small incline up to Tuart Car Park. Would be great for all ages, human and doggo. Easy enough to carry a conversation and has a good mix of shade and sunny sections. Tuart is a bit more steep and barely has shade. It took just under an hour with lots of sniffs along the way. Can hear heaps of birds and has a good view of the city. This is primarily a bush conservation area so just note no baggies or water.

A spacious beautiful park with various walking trails and paved roads which are best for walking/bikes. You might get to see many beautiful birds and nature. Be careful of the magpies, sometime quite aggressive and swoop over your head.

Took my 3yr old and step-mum recently. The wild flowers are stunning!! And the views are just wow. If u haven't been, or it's been years, take the detour and enjoy the local bushland 🤩🥰😋

Loved this park - so close to central Perth, yet so natural, wild & spacious. We walked the 5.1 km Zamia track which was a bit up & down hill but an absolute delight with lots of birds and wildflowers in bloom

Great park for a brisk walk (and there were many joggers). Well located, easy walking path and some wonderful sea views. A few small hills to keep you honest :). Will be doing the 5km loop many more times

Make sure You are wearing either Hiking Boots or Sneakers, it is very good exercise and there is a lot of fascinating things to see along the trails.

Great place to walk - panoramic views over city and suburbs, ocean glimpses, variety of paths - flat and hilly. Needs more funding from State Government to control the weeds - especially veld grass, pelargonium and geraldton carnation weeds which are running rampant..
