One of the key stops on our bicycle tour of Rottnest Island. The lighthouse is on top of a steep slope so be prepared for a tough ride up. You can park your bikes before the final steepest stretch to save yourself some pain. To go into the lighthouse and climb to the top of the lighthouse tower, you need to join a tour which lasts 30 mins and costs A$15. We opted not to do the tour. The scenery around it was worth a stop already.

Took a long route by walking to the lighthouse. Lots of up and down on the trail and the amount of house flies were so irritating. The surrounding gave good view of the island. Did not pay to go inside he lighthouse.

Views from the base of the lighthouse are beautiful and worth a walk or bike ride up from the jetty. Beautiful blue waters.

Amazing place and what a spectacular view, must visit on Rottnest Island 🏝️. You can also go to the top of Lighthouse but it's paid. You can buy tickets on the go.

The place is so nice. We were just unlucky as when we went there the lighthouse is still under renovation. But all in all, it's good to go with the family.

We rode our bikes there, lovely views at the top of the hill but we couldn't get into the lighthouse as it was closed for renovations

We didn't go to the top as you had to pay for the full tour in order to do so. The views from the base were great. The only issue was that the map showed a through road past the light house back to the settlement, but it was closed. We had to backtrack to make our way back to the ferry.

It’s favourite holiday place, well worth the wait and definitely worth bringing bikes, and fishing rods if you like. 1000/10 star rating. Even better to bring your own boat if you have one. Love it, I have too many pictures and can’t choose which ones.

Western Australias first lime stone light house completed in 1849 and around 20 meters in height and a highest point of Rottnest island and range of light house is around 45 to 50 km we paid 15$ each for a guided tour and got some important information about history of island and lighthouse itself Must visit place in Rottnest island

Beautiful views from the top... You do need to buy the tour tickets in order to get up there. But worth it.

Beautiful lighthouse and quite a good view here, you can see all over the island from here. I also met a few Quokkas on the way to the lighthouse. You need to book the tour to go into the lighthouse. I didn't book the tour to go inside the lighthouse, so I don't know if the tour is good or not. Be prepared to walk up the hill even though you buy the Island Explorer bus, it only stops at the pathway, and you still need to walk up the hill.

The highest point in the island. You’re every 30minutes until 2.30pm, run by volunteers, and costs $9 to visit. Well worth it. Wonderful views and an interesting tour. Staircase not great if you’re not good with heights, but I managed.

This place has amazing lights and houses, truly a spectacle. Customer service is great. Needs more mup as advertised, still great, thank you and keep up the good work guys I shall visit again every 3 years on November 4th atop of my golden bicycle because I do as I please, good day.

My only regret is not staying longer! Crystal clear waters and cute beaches around the whole island. Irresistible quokkas with their friendly smiles are not timid and can be found everywhere. Loved visiting!!

Had an amazing honeymoon there. I know it sounds weird to have a quite strenuous activity during honeymoon. But we managed to visit Perth Zoo, Rottnest Island, and Fremantle Prison. There are a lot of cute quokka once we get off the boat. But I suggest you to take the bicycle and take the 10-km route (it is provided there). The quokkas at the Wadjemup Lighthouse are really friendly, they're not afraid of humans! Get a selfie with them there! In addition, you can also dive in the sea. The tides are really calm.
