We stayed here recently for four nights and I think it is an excellent hotel with attentive staff. The rooms are small but very clean with everything supplied. The breakfast is first class and should suit everyone. It is not as conveniently placed as some but apparently the public transport is excellent, we just walked everywhere. A notice a comment about a laundry and that would be a great addition, however there is a super dooper automated laundry very close by, about a block and a half up the road. Also little supermarkets extremely close by. I can certainly recommend this place.

Nice hotel in a quieter part of the city. Night staff were delightful, didn’t really chat to day staff except for checkout but was quick and easy. Room was a good size and had everything you need although the sheet duvet thing they had going on was a bit annoying. Gym was brilliant, everything you needed and nice and new. Short walk to the CAT station so you can get about Restaurant was pretty good although they starting packing up a bit early and we felt rushed despite it only being 9:30. Due to its location it would have been nice to have free bikes so we could explore, I’ve seen this is other hotels and thought it worked well. Ibis styles Copenhagen for example. Also would be good to have a water cooler on every floor with refillable glass bottles in the room maybe one of the ones with an option for sparkling. Would gladly stay again

Shoe box sized rooms with flashy lighting and colourful. Not right for a bedroom as not soothing or relaxing ! Staff very friendly and excellent housekeeping. Breakfast was the same every single day for a whole week we stayed, which we unfortunately had to endure as had opted for it ! Parking is expensive and limited but offsite pay public parking available nearby.

Staying at Ibis Styles East Perth is a comfortable and relaxing experience. The staff are lovely, food is fantastic and the bed/pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. I stay here almost every time I'm in Perth and am never disappointed. Thanks again Ibis Styles team!

Nice hotel. Very simple hotel. Service was fantastic. There was no parking but we'll price easy parking very close. Our family room was clean and nice but very small. Beds were comfortable. Should provide maybe 2 free bottles of water. Well priced nice breakfast. Would stay there again.

Only slight negatives, small room, quite a walk to main part of city. But still a great location close to river and parks. Lovely bright modern room, clean comfy bed, no complaints. Would stay again. Food amazing

We stayed here for Australia Day recently. The staff are excellent, we were served and attended to promptly and with top service. Rooms were clean, spacious and modern, very well thought out. And the food at the restaurant is always good, we dine here regularly even when we aren't staying here. Thanks once again for making it a great experience for us!

We stayed here to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. All the staff we interacted with were attentive and made us feel special. The room had a wonderful view and well worth the additional cost we paid to secure a room on a higher floor. The bed was comfy, bathroom clean and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch recognising our special occasion. Thanks to all staff for making our stay special.

Stayed for 2 nights. After hours check-in was a breeze. Staff member at reception was brilliant Re my hearing impairment/tiredness. Room was lovely, facilities fab, cookies at reception were very tasty and a lovely touch.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ibis Styles in East Perth. The staff were amazing and attentative, the food was extremely delicious and the rooms are very well appointed. Modern hotel in a great location. Couldn't fault anything! Will definitely be back!

Staff were very helpful. I was travelling for business so not too worried about views etc but location was great for walks along the river and easy access to freeways. Only let down was no desk in room. Also disappointed that even though i hung my towels (as per hotel instructions) they were still replaced.

Always a great stay. Very friendly and capable staff. Rooms are clean and quiet, the food and drinks are fantastic!! Perfect location, close enough to city centre for shop but far enough away that it’s quiet too.

Styles East Perth is great and up to our expectation for a good hotel stay! Hotel felt stylish and new with comfortable bed, clean room, mini fridge and clean thermal flask, toiletries The pillow is rather soft though, too soft that we felt it's flat. Location is quiet. Still a distance to reach city centre. Parking is at the public CPP carpark, you can download the 'easy park' app for convenience. Parking is free after 6pm at our time of travel, all the way till 4/5am the next day.

Stayed in this hotel numerous times even though the rooms are small it's quiet and the beds are comfortable. Cleanliness is of a high standard an the Upstairs bar is a bonus. Great value hotel.

Food and service were awesome. Nothing was too hard for them, we had a large group staying here. Rooms are a little small but bed was comfy. Gym area is nice but there is no swimming Pool.

We recently stayed at this hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Rachel in the Eastside Social Restaurant - such a sweetheart. The food was delicious as well. The room was a little small but totally adequate except for the poor view from the window....it was some kind of industrial roof vent (Room 202). The location was pretty good.

We had dinner in the restaurant and was fabulous. Sean & Lili are great!! They were very friendly and professional. The food is yummy. We tried the pork belly, the squid and the pork burger. Very tasty. Well done for the chef as well. I'll recommend the restaurant to my friends.

This is budget hotel according to Perth, and the rooms are around the $200 per night. But the bed was super duper comfy and the showers are clean and perfect! This is an excellent place to stay in Perth! One of the better accommodations I have stayed!

Stayed for four nights. It is a bright, clean modern hotel. Breakfast was excellent, great choice. Restaurant meals were tasty especially the pizza. Pity there wasn’t a laundry and would have liked two chairs in the room instead of one. Staff were helpful and one or two were super efficient. I would certainly recommend this hotel😊👏

Terrible hotel. Booked a family room. This "quadruple family room" as it says in the booking confirmation is a small one room no bigger than a child's bedroom with a double bed and bunk bed and very little room to do anything. No seated area as advertised, just a seat under the TV. Advertised cable channels...where?...there actually is no cable channels. Half the channels don't get sound because of the bad reception. There is NO parking. And a very slim menu with no kids options. Will never come here again and will warn others to stay away as well.

The good things were the staff who were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were quite small but adequate and clean with comfortable beds. Unfortunately we had a bad experience dining on the first night. We really only wanted a small meal but were only offered the a al carte menu. We later discovered that a bar menu was available but too late for us! Equally, the meals we ordered were not particularly nice ie steak undercooked! We didn't dine in again. On the plus side, the breakfasts were very good. The hotel is quite a distance from the city centre but fortunately there is a bus stop close by and buses are free into the centre.

I am currently checked into a “Riverview” room which does not have the view of the river . Payed an extra $100 to get a view of buildings. When asked if we could be moved they gave us a room with a view exactly like the first one . The room is like a box with barely any space to move especially in the bathroom. Will Not be coming back here again especially is they are going to charge me more money for a view that I do no get !!

Rooms are substantial size, the silicone in the shower could be replaced and trying to call room service for dinner is near impossible. Each time I've tried I've had to call reception to get the kitchen to call me back. But overall, great stay, friendly service and a comfortable sleep!

Made a last minute booking, literally 5 minutes before arriving. Fantastic hotel great staff good amenities and very clean and comfortable room. Thank you for fitting us in at such short notice.

Poor rude service when ordering meal , steak ordered for medium rare and came out like it had been through the Victorian bushfires.with a side of dry potatoes n rocket to the tune of 40$ Bedding looked like a bower birds nest on arrival. Fridge sounds like a V8 super car on the starting line. Can't wait for my next stay.

Unfortunately for me its the little things that matter. Like asking the ethnic at the reception desk 3 times in one day for milk and coffee to be replaced 🤦‍♂️ Other than that the rooms are comfortable and clean, the kitchen staff are fabulous and food is good. 5 stars for all the staff bar the inept bloke at the reception desk.

Just an average hotel... Small rooms, and a 50 50 chance you'll get stuck facing the concrete apartment block next door. I'd spend an extra 20 bucks and go somewhere decent

no TV no hotel. in the past I have praised this Hotel, but to spend a week here with intermittent TV reception and missing the end of movies is un acceptable. Wake up Ibis.

Great value hotel, with very clean rooms and comfortable furnishings. The bar and restaurant was good, with lots of seating. The dinner buffet was good value, and delicious food. Whether you’re a fifo or just looking for a night in the city, I’d recommend this hotel.

A good place to stay if you're having a short stay. Rooms are nice but small. The bar/restaurant is decent.

Clean, no fuss and well maintained hotel. The rooms are pretty small but comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good in the restaurant and the gym on the rooftop was good. The only thing missing is a Swimming pool. Unfortunately our room view was pretty bad, facing the side apartment and was not on a high floor.

Room is small but Neat and tidy, room with river view and night city view.

  • 3/5 Zharelé S. 1 year ago on Google
One of the main reasons I'm giving this place 3 stars, is because of the staff. They weren't friendly at all, in fact they looked quite miserable dealing with me and my husband. We stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and it was a let down...mostly because of the staff. The food the next day that we had for breakfast wasn't great either unfortunately. The room was nice and neat though.

Nice and affordable hotel - clean and tidy rooms that are spacious. Good service from all the staff and nice breakfasts at the restaurant. A good location within east walk to the river and plenty of free buses into the city Centre

Not a large room but fine for an overnighter. Clean and modern with appropriate fixtures etc. Large shower in a modest sized bathroom. Staff helpful and friendly. Good value stay. Thanks.

Very modern, clean and simple. The whole place is slightly smaller than other hotels, but it is new and value for money! Parking is a bit of an issue, but you can always park nearby or opposite the building within the Fortescue Centre Car Park. All good for me!

  • 4/5 Immanuella B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice and clean room (although it's smaller than other hotels). Breakfast and ala carte food were good. Service was generally wonderful. However, there was a misscommunication with the small girl in the reception regarding the late check-out option that I have opted in (5pm) and she insisted that I should leave at 12pm max. The card also didn't work well when she registered it so I had to go back and forth to the reception as I couldn't get in to my room and use the lift. Luckily, the guy was kind enough to sort out the problems for me. Kudos to him. During the check-out, I should've gotten a refund of $55 from the deposit, but the blonde girl in the reception charged me instead - so I ended up paying double. I had to go back to the reception after leaving the premise to get my money back. Was quite a hassle and could've been prevented in the first place.

I stay here every 3 weeks for work, every time I call and make the booking, the person on the other end cannot understand English that well, forever asking to repeat myself or saying can I call you back cause they are not sure on something which doesn't happen, last time I stayed, it didn't even get put through properly! Like come on guys simple stuff! I normally wouldn't rate so low but something has to happen.

Was wondering if when ibis response told me to "rest assured that they are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem", they truly meant that or was just a standard message? No progress about my complain so far... as expected. -------------------------------Original Post ------------------------------- Hopefully you have a perfect stay, otherwise I wish you the best of luck getting assistance as it sounds like customer care is not a priority at Ibis Styles East Perth and Accor Loyalty. For some reason the hotel was not able to use my Status Points and I was assured they would work on it and let me know in case of any issues (yes, points were still valid. I stayed at Accor around the world since 2004 and never saw it happen before). This is the answer I received from the hotel when I complained about having my stay invoiced in full and for not having any feedback from Accor Loyalty after I asked them to assist. "I apologise for the delay this has caused. The service centre advised us that any member issues must be communicated to them by the member directly. As we were doing our month end closures, we had to close this pending account. If you could you perhaps do another follow up with them and I will be happy to reverse the charges accordingly." Ibis Styles first, customers... well not sure if even on second place. Other than that, hotel was great as you would expect from any other global hotel chain.

Great little hotel. House keeping is a little confusing they leave you clean towels even though you don't ask for them, not only do they do that but they don't take the used ones. The restaurant was good and the food was excellent but the staff were a little under manned and at times struggled to keep up but under the circumstances they did very well. Reception was also very good just one small criticism is that they could explain how to use the card system for the lifts a little better we had some trouble but were able to work it out some hotel guests had trouble and were stuck in the lift.

Fantastic weekend stay at Ibis Styles East Perth. My partner and I stayed on the 15th floor with spectacular views of the city and the swan River. The hotel was clean and the staff were brilliant. The buffet breakfast is a must! I would definitely stay here again.

  • 1/5 Lorri W. 1 year ago on Google
I found our room with a river view small and stuffy. Although very clean with good sized bathroom. We found ordering room service was very slow answering and the food ok but nothing special for the price. No car parking for the guests is terrible with us finding that we had to leave our car parked on the street verge away from the hotel. Highly priced for not very much. Will not be returning.

Great value for money for those of us who are on a conservative budget. Beautifully presented room, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice to stay in Perth rather than travel in and out for two consecutive outings. Very convenient location and walking distance to the Swan River.

  • 4/5 Greg M. 1 year ago on Google
Clean and comfortable rooms. A little bit of difficulty getting daily basic service. Easy walk or travel to the city by public transport. Didntceat at the Cafe so can't comment on food.

  • 4/5 Narelle Z. 1 year ago on Google
The negative with having a longer stay with no on-site laundry. I think that's something that really should be added. The rooms are a little small and while staying for work training I think a small desk would have been much appreciated too. However, the room was clean, quiet and otherwise well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. Room service was speedy and when housekeeping forgot to leave more sugar for my coffee it was delivered very quickly when I called and asked for some. I have left a separate review for the Eastside Social Restaurant because dining there was such a positive experience. Overall I have really enjoyed my stay this week.

This is a super modern, clean and minimalist hotel in Perth CBD. The rooms are small but well equipped, there is a fantastic gym with a great view of the city from the 18th floor, and the breakfast is exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, and it was the best stay in a 3 week trip to Australia. The price point is very fair for what you get. I'm not a fan of ibis generally but this has changed my opinion. Highly recommended.

My kids (3 & 1 yr old) and I have to stay in Perth for 2 weeks due to sons surgery (we’re rural patients) because of other reviewers we chose Ibis Style East Perth and oh my stars I’m so happy we did. It has been an absolute pleasure staying here, the staff are incredible, so supportive, helpful, kind and so so understanding when it comes to my two littles! The rooms are small and quite basic (to be honest I was hoping to have a small kitchen but no worries) but the rooms are very sound proof which when you’ve had a little boy have surgery and is crying at night - is SO HELPFUL! And they’re incredibly clean! The buffet breakfast is so helpful (a tiny bit pricey for 1 adult but the kids are free so that made it worth it). Lots of choices and the kids loved seeing everyone when we went down! The location is perfect with parks close by but would love a small space for the kids in the hotel being that the rooms are small. These are MINOR compared to have incredible everything else is. I will 100% be staying here again in the future as we have loved being here under the circumstances! To all the staff including front of house, housekeeping (who cleaned up kids messes with no fuss), maintenance, and restaurant (and more!) Thank you thank you thank you. I could not have gotten through these 2 weeks of my son’s healing without your support and kindness.
