👍 Booked my stay here as I had business in the area. The room I was given was large and comfortable. Tea and coffe available. Only down side was my room was closer to the highway with a bit of road noise. People often mention clean, stay, room, good, night, needed, rooms, great,

Conveniently located to Mundaring and the Weir. Arrived early but met by the owner and welcomed us in. Very welcoming nature. Self contained accomodation was ideal for our situation. Couldn’t ask for more.

We were provided with care and 5 star accomodation after needing to evacuate in the evening from the recent Toodyay fires. Christina went out of her way to make sure we all felt comfortable and safe. Beautiful, very comfortable and spotlessly clean accomodation. Highly recommended, thankyou Christina God bless.

An absolute gem. Idyllic setting magnificent suite. Yes its a bit dated, however for a place that has different people in it 365 days a year, it is in good nick. The welcome on arrival was top shelf. 👌 very satisfied.

Christina is very helpful. I have stayed here a couple of times, and this week they were booked out due to holidays. Unfortunately due to the nature of my work I cannot book ahead. The motel is in a good location for coming out of Perth and it has nice, peaceful gardens.

Me, my husband and our dog have been doing roughly 880kms a day of travel for the last 4 days on our way to a work contract, so we have a deadline. We couldnt find any accommodation last night and had to pitch the swag, and with me being pregnant, we were desperate for a good nights rest, not only exhausted, but needing a pet friendly room. Even though Travellers Rest were almost fully booked, they worked something out so we could have a unit and our dog with us for the night. The unit was spacious, clean, comfortable, felt like home, had everything we needed, full kitchen, comfy couch, supermarket just down the road. If we could, we would have stayed another night. I gave 4 stars for location purely because the highway is close you can hear traffic noise, but you can't change that. Travellers Rest gave us a much needed break and regeneration for another long day ahead and we appreciate their kindness. Would highly recommend.

Would not stay here again , very minimal if any cleaning done. Smelt very musty . A few years worth of food in between the lounge cushions, sweat stains . Other people's hair on the floor. Very dusty.

Nice place to stay. Comfy beds. The shower doesn't have very good pressure and the bath plug was too small so the water kept escaping. Some black mold on the kitchen window sill. The general cleanliness could be improved. Also it would of been nice to be supplied with Some shampoo/conditioner instead of just soap. Air con works good. Magpies are friendly. Few bugs in the room but it's expected when you're in the bush.

Clean rooms, good facilities. But if you stay a few days you don't get clean linen or refill of coffee or tea. Gardens are a bit run down and swimming pool is closed down.

Well maintained and clean rooms. A little close to the highway so you hear a some road noise which really didn't bother me. The town with food shops is nearby which was great when we wanted to pickup up dinner, etc. Christina, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating with our requests.

We loved staying here, we were in unit 6 & we loved this room! The scenery is beautiful, the shops are close by which was very convenient for us when it came to ordering food. We had our puppy with us & our son & pup had a great time. We loved the location, I had to have a medical procedure done in Midland & we needed accommodation that could allow us to have our puppy with us & this was the place. It made life easier. The unit was very clean & tidy with all amenities available. We will definitely be staying here again! & we are looking forward to it! Thank you so much & will be seeing you again ❤️

The bush setting is lovely with walking trails adjacent. The location gave easy access to all parts of the metro area. Lacked WiFi. Cleanliness on arrival could be improved in all areas of the rooms.

The booking and check-in process was handled by a relative of mine before arriving to the motel. But once I arrived the rooms seemed to be in great condition and the toilets very clean. No sign of any bugs or anything crawling around the floor. The TV was small for the price of the motel for the night. To check out we just dropped the key into a drawer outside the reception which is just a window to the owners house. Overall was a good stay regarding the cleanliness of the room and quality of sleep.

We stayed here for about 6 months and it was amazing! Just perfect for our 2 big dogs, has everything you need, bed, tv, kitchen, oven, bath, shower, walking tracks, outside table and chairs. Even if we didn’t get our bond back it was still amazing.

Beautiful setting very secluded in the bushland. Having coffee in the gardens under the gazebo was awesome. Had everything we needed.

I have stayed at the travellers rest during the last 2 years and I will admit that I had a wonderful stay. The hotel has wonderful accommodation in a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone travelling around Perth. I will definitely be back.

Very friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, close to Mundaring shopping centre and great walking trails if you take your dog. I had my 2 dogs with me and they loved it too. Highly recommended for a getaway.

Took the team here for a team-building group weekend. They were able to accommodate 16 of us + partners. Hospitality and service was great. Facilities and grounds were ideal. Would definitely return.

Stayed here for one night before starting an end to end of the Munda Biddi Trail for charity. It was a bit pricey at $240 a night for a two bedroom unit, but it was a public holiday weekend. I booked around a month in advance and the week before arrival they called and tried to cancel saying they didn't have enough staff, after explaining the importance of our booking they said they would sort something out. On arrival I had to deal with the management entirely by phone which was weird, they said they had no booking for me (but it was booked and paid for through booking.com). They then said they would get the room ready and text when it was done. We went into Mundaring around 2:30pm and waited but I still hadn't heard anything by 5pm...I called back and turns out they had sent the text to the wrong number. I'm not sure if this was a series of unfortunate events but it was frustrating none the less. Later that evening I received a text to tell me we had left the outside light on which I felt was a bit cheeky considering. Facilities were actually ok and going by reviews most people seem to like staying here, unfortunately we won't be returning.
